URGENT: I have published a new folio and pressed notify and its not live in my newsstand ready app.
what can i do about this? live 24x7 help is not there.

-Yes I am able to see it in my sandbox
-1024x768, horizontal only
-I have unpublished and republised and updated. Each time i see it go live with a message saying Issue Unavailabe in blue where the purchased label should be. And then it quickly disappears.
-It is set to public/retail
-the Id's match exactly..i checked a million times like a maniac
I am going over each troubleshooting step now....to no avail.

Re:Push notification error when publishing a new folio from DPS
I have run into a problem when publishing a new folio to our app from DPS Folio Producer. I published the new folio without a probelm, but when I pus the "Notify" button, I get an error message that an error has occured while sending the push notification. The push certificate has expired and that to upload a valid push notification, I should rebuild my app in DPS App Builder and to retry sending push notification. (See screen grab).
This is our first push notification for a recently approved app. I worked through all the instruction to create push notifications through DPS. And we tested everything and it was fine.
Our app is a free subscription, multi-folio app in newsstand hosted on the DPS server with DPS push notifications.
What am I doing wrong? I really don't want to have to bebuild/resubmit the app to iTunes to get this to work. It seems odd that the push certificate would be expired, we just created it last month.

Running most recent DPS version on a MAC OSX 10.9.2Hi,
Direct saves to the server from MS Office over Webdav are not recommended when the versioning mode is Manual. The reason is that the actions of checking out & checking in the document need to be done from the Team Collaboration client and are not done from within MS Office.
Rather, set the versioning mode to Auto or Disabled and it should work just fine.

I have been sampling new imported drum loops. And if I adjust region to song or time strecth it updates the audio file in the library. How to stop this? I lost the original setting to one loop. automatically doing it ??
This "original file cannot be found" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, try this a few times if necessary. If still problem, you may have to just Restore your iPhone to get it working. In the future sync your iPhone with iTunes routinely and when it contains important data, iCloud when set correctly will do this for you continuously.

The iPad was sealed in the box when I got it. It had the plastic screen protector wrapped all around it and when I powered it on for the first time it displayed the "connect to iTunes for setup" message displayed. The only other thing I can think of is if the person I bought it from had ordered it through Verizon on and the iPad was set up on a number on his pre-existing verizon account. My question is should I just keep using it and consider myself lucky? Since there is no way for Verizon to charge me for the usage because I never signed a contract. I realize that if it is on the account belonging to the person I bought it from, they will eventually figure this out and shut it off. But I might as well use it in the meantime right?

I have just bought new Ipod touch 32 GB and upgraded to 5.0.1 and it it worse now my battery doesn't last for more then two hour.
what should i do? it is seriously big problem.
Please help me.......This is a general comment, not directed to anyone, and not to be taken personally by anyone. This ongoing screw up with the new upgrade (5.0.1) is getting to be a **** SHAME. In no way can APPLE or anyone else for that matter not know by now that the upgrade is terribly flawed. The Ipod machines themselves are super great products, and I enjoy mine to the max. However the upgrade once applied ruins it. And at least, not to my current knowledge, there haven't been any fixes forcoming.
In my opinion Apple should own up to that fact and warn folks that, even though the upgrade was presented with the best intentions, IT JUST AIN"T WORKING. And not to download it until further notice. This noticication could be done through the retail sales outlet, online, what ever.
I liken this to a pharmaceutical coming out with a new vaccine, encourage everyone to use it, then discover it's bad to the degree it causes it uses to become sick. Rather then pull the vaccine they keep on allowing unsuspecting ones to continue to vaccinate, and become sick. What a shame!

Have you tried a simple reset of your iPod to see if that helps? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, have you tried any of the troubleshooting mentioned in this Apple support document?

how can I open the outbox for mail? That is, mail that i have finished and pressed 'send' but has not appeared in the 'sent' folder
The reason it will not be in the sent folder is, it failed to send.
If it failed to send, then you will see the Outbox icon. 'Pending' would be a more descriptive name.
When it eventually sends, the Outbox will not show in the Mail app interface.
Until it is sent it will stay stuck in the Outbox.
If it refuses to send, you can manually delete it in Finder, at the location ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Outbox.mbox
Close Mail first, before you search for that email using the Finder.

I like firefox much more than safari, but I really like the safari feature where it suggests webpages. For example, say the last webpage I went on that starts with an "f" is facebook. All I would need to do is type in "f" and press enter and it will take me to facebook. Is there an extension or something that will bring that feature to firefox?
A possibility is to bookmark a site and assign a keyword to it.
