so what exactly are you trying to change. The content, the structure, or what? The basic Idoc type itself?
If it is an already existing (inbound / outbound) Idoc with actual IDoc number?

Urgent: IDOC transfer between SAP R/3 and BW taking long.

We are extracting data from SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP BW 3.3.
IDOCS from SAP R/3 to SAP BW taking any where from 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Even though process immediate option is enabled for IDOC. IS there any thing I need to check with on event processing.
What parameters I need to configure to make IDOC's appear in BW faster.
I award points for all valid suggestions.

how about your BGD processes? do you have a lot of those too? check also the extraction times into BW - maybe there are times when you are trying to extract when the DB server is more strained than others.
also check via tcode SBIW->General Settings->Maintain Control Parameters in your source system. make sure that you entered the server name in the target server for batch job. also the max proc. will tell you how many DIA processes each extraction will use. if you have 10 extractions and you have this set to say, 3, then you'll need 30 free DIA processes. check the documentation for optimising the settings here.

Urgent - Idoc types for infotypes 14,17 and 442

I am using Tcode PA30. I need to upload Info type 0014 (Recurring Payments and Deductions),Infotype 0017 (Travel Privileges)and Info type 0442 (Company Car). Is there any idoc available.
Help will be highly appreciated.

Are you looking for a BAPI or IDOC? what are you going to do with IDOC to upload 14 and 17 Infotypes using PA30?
Can't you do the same Upload by writing a BDC Program?

URGENT- IDoc Packaging - Que- Michal blog

I was following Micahl's blog - for idoc packaging -

Do I need to do both of them to achieve the Idoc Packaging.
I also noticed that in the first blog, it is about pushing Idocs out of R/3 system and in the second blog it is the other way round.
Can any one please clarify.

with the first blog, how does sxmb_moni screen looks like - R3 system, XI. On XI it should not make any diff as XI is still splitting the packages.
Yes you are right...On R3 system, if packaging is done, then you will find all IDOCs as single message. As you said on XI it will not make any difference.
With the 2nd blog, XI would show single message for each package, but with more instances of the Idoc payload. (As shown in the first blog - look at the 2nd pic). Which means that you saving the queues but the payload size is more here in this case.

1) You are creating outbound or inbound.
Error 51 is for inbound. Just to make sure.
I think you are doing some abnormal process that's why you didn't see any message.

Urgent : IDOC posting problem

Dear All ,
Currently I am working on IDOC - XI- FILE scenario .
I have created a customized idoc and with the help of customized program I have uploaded the value in IDOC .
Now my query is how XI will take IDOC :
Option 1 : Do I need to trigger IDOC from SAP to XI using Program (i.e using ALE Layer)
option 2 : Can XI import the IDOCs containing value from SAP
Plz elaborate the complete steps , I have seen the weblogs but it is not containing full details .

Go to transaction we05 and get the idoc no. Now go to we19 and execute the idoc and give standard outbound processing. On the values given click and give the sender and receipeint port and partner name.
Complete step :-
1.create an RFC destination pointing to XI server in the Business System where IDOC is present, using transaction sm59
2.create a tRFC port in the same Business System using transaction we21
3.create a logical system name using transaction bd54
4.then create a partner profile using transaction we20
5.Now log on to the Business System where IDOC is created.
6.go to we19..execute the idoc and give standard outbound processing on
7.on the values given click and give the sender and recipeint port and partner name and type..

Urgent IDOC - EXIT_SAPLLMDE_002 not getting triggered.

I am doing an inbound idoc on message type WMMXY goods movement.
The idoc is sucessfully getting posted when tested through we19.
But the user exit EXIT_SAPLLMDE_002 where i am doing an enhancement is not getting triggered when the idoc is posted.
I have activated the exit functional module, the project in CMOD is also activated.
Some one pls help me .. if u have its document pls post it to me.

Please refer to this documentation of user-exit; may be of some help for you.
You can use this user exit to influence the processing of IDOCs of the
message type WMMBXY (goods movements) that are sent to SAP from external
systems via the MM-MOB or WM-LSR interfaces. You can also access
customer-specific processing in this case.
Call transaction and other important requirements
The user exit is performed in the function module that processes the
IDOCs of the message type WMMBXY, after the IDOC is withdrawn and
checked but before direct processing in the application has been
initiated. (That is, the data for the goods movement has already been
determined and edited, but the function module for updating this has not
yet been accessed. The standard function module for processing the
message type WMMBXY is called L_IDOC_INPUT_WMMBXY. The IDOC is processed
in an update task, which means that the source code is also executed in
the update.
If an error arises, then messages should not be issued since processing
is being carried out in the background and the result of processing must
always be returned to the ALE interface. For this reason language
elements such as MESSAGE, COMMIT WORK, LEAVE and the like should not be
used. If errors that should be passed on to the ALE interface or that
affect the result of processing are found in the user exit, you should
also use the user exit MWMIDI07(EXIT_SAPLLMDE_001) since it alone can be
used to take your errors into account (see documentation of the user
exit).
Parameters and options
The user exit in the program is the function module EXIT_SAPLLMDE_002.
In order to be able to use it, you must first create Include zxlidu10
and activate the enhancement by means of transaction CMOD. As
parameters, you can use the following data:
o   Goods movement data already determined from the received IDOC:
    -   Transaction code that is given along with the application
        function module (see interface description (import parameter
        X_TCODE).
    -   Indicator: post only if all items o.k. (import parameter X_XALLP
        ). This indicator must be set by default, to enable IDOC error
        processing.
    -   Indicator: Reset all tables (as primary call) (import parameter
        X_XALLR). This indicator is not set by default to enable the
        processing of several IDOCs. Normally you will not change these
        two indicators.
        -   Goods movement items table (table parameter T_IMSEG)
    o   Received IDOC data:
        -   IDOC control record (import parameter I_IDOC_CONTROL)
        -   IDOC data records (table parameter T_IDOC_DATA)
    This user exit can be used to:
    o   Influence the determined data for the goods movements. All data can
        be changed in this case.
    o   Analyze and process data that is transferred using customer-specific
        segments.
    o   Access additional activities.
    Examples
    A number of potential applications are described below.

     certain vendors or customers take place.
o   You want to start your own label printout, for example at goods
     receipt.
o   You want to update your own tables, for example statistical data.

Urgent: IDoc failures due to Chart of Accounts Not Found

We are posting IDoc FIDCC2.
The IDoc is failing with Error "G/L account 'XXXXXX' is not defined in chart of accounts XXX".
We went into Transaction f.10 and can see the the G/L account setup correctly.
I believe there is some configuration issue and these accounts are setup incorrectly. Please advice....

Urgent:Idoc stuck with status 03 in TRFC

My Idoc is in status 03, but it is not reached to destination.
I guess It is stuck in Rfc layer or in some QUEUE.
There was quality system refresh last week here with Production system.
Pelase suggest what seetings need to be changed and where.
in SM58 it give the following error
'RFC address XXXXXXX doesn't exist'
(where XXXXXXX i m not mentioning here for Client security reasons)
is there any program to clear these layers?

the status will be converted to 12 and datawill be passed.

V.V.Urgent( IDOC to SOAP)

I am Integrating SAP R/3 and WebBrowser using XI.
In SAP R/3 I am Using IE02( Change Equipment) ,When Ever we made a change in Equipment and save it should trigger automatically and post the data. I need the Infpirmation How to Trigger Automatically ( If it is BAPI/IDOC).
I Idenfited a IDOC for change of Equipment "EQUIPMENT_CHANGE.EQUIPMENT_CHANGE01" but it is a BAPI related IDOC , when I am configuring model View , Add Message type It is not showing any Message Type, Without Message types I cannot configure Patner and Port profiles.

2 Queries)
1) How IDOC/BAPI triggers Automatically and sends the data when a change is made and saved?
2) I am not able to confogure Model View (BD64) because of no Message type
What Should I do?
Explain me in the detail Process..

1. U can activate change pointers for the idoc and schedule the report RBDMIDOC

2. In BD64, just as u can see the option Add Message Type, similarly there is an option saying Add BAPI. There u have to add it.

I have made the changes in the inbound func modiule.
The user exit is being triggered and the the internal table in that exit t_idoc_data is beinf updated
i have modified it.
value is there i it. i have chekd during debugging but in we02 the value is not being reflected in the idoc.
The segment name is E!MBXYH
and i have to copy the XBLNR from the this segment to XBLNR_LONG in the same segment..
Plzz help me out...
I ahve chek in all user exits..
Two are not being triggred other are being triggered but with the same problem

ALE customizing question

I am studying the XI tutorial "How to create XI Content with the Integration Builder". Every step in XI is described in detail, but no details about what to do in the R/3 System.
Section 6.1 is saying that I must customize the SAP backend so that the backend system can send an IDOC to my external system. As I have little experience with SAP I do no know which transaction to use and in which order.
Please give some help.
The IDOC is MATMAS01. I have completed the definitions of my external system in the SLD. I already made a port using WE21. To do is defining the outbound scenario MATMAS01 from r/3 to External.
