Urgent issue REPORT FOR ALL MATERIAL BASED ON STOC TYPE

Hi
I want report for based on stock type
i want to check the stock for all mterial with stock type "quality inspction"
i want that type of material documents
is it possible to see the report

I CREATE material A...with out seleting QM view
I create one more material B.... with select QM view
both r ROH material type..
when i caeate GR for material A. with stoc type 'QYALITY INSPECTION.. for this material system does not creat quality LOT....
when i create GR for material B with stock type 'QYALITY INSPECTION.... for this material system created lot..
but are GR done by 101 movement..
but i want report for materials which are stock type QI...but does not display Material which r lot created...?
is it possible..

Designing the consolidated and line item report for specific material

Hi
i have a R/3-report and it run only for 7-materials.That means we need to only those 7-materials in the selection screen of report.
Then we will get each material corresponding line item details(material no, profit center, variable cost, quanity, price, financial loss(this is calculated based on quantity) , Utility Consumption(calculated based on price, variablecost) ) in one report.
Another report will give same for consolidated values of financial loss, utiliy consumption.
<b>so how can i design the consolidated and lineitem details report for each material.</b> pls let me know

It should be noted, however, that this won't get you everything that you need, so you may have to create enhance one or more of these DataSources and create User Exit ABAP code to get the required data. Also, the 0FI_AP_51 DataSource isn't available if your source system isn't ECC6 EHP3 or higher. If your source system is less than that, you're going to have to create a generic DataSource for the data from the PAYR table.

Quick question
Why you are giving (-1) value's as per the doc we can give any value which has to give no results? Have u tried to give some other value ?
Next,Do u have left outer joins between those tables? If yes you should face the same problem with the main report because the filters to be same as intermediate report am i right ?
First tune-up the rpd and get the main report query ,run-it over DB
Due to huge data and the join taking more time....is there way any thing to add to reduce the time??Huge data ?? Intermediate report will not get any results i think it will not take more time to give a message,but due to join conditions only it is taking long time to run
Note :Before getting value from DB it will check the where condition( joins)

Try transaction VA05. In that choose "Open Orders" along with other selection criteria.
If you want the Open sales order qty in output and its not displayed, do the following.
Sales -> System modification -> create new fields ( without condition technique) -> New fields for lists.
You can change V05TZZMO and structure VBMTVZ from there or use SE38 / SE11.
For both you'll need an object registration in OSS.

Need to run the report for All Values when Null is passed in parameter

Hi All,
In my BIP report, I am using a parameter :asset with Type as Text, which means user will type the values for the parameter in the text box.
Now, this parameter can take multiple comma separated values. I have a requirement to run the report for All Values when user doesn't enter any value in the parameter text box and if user enters any value(s) then the report will run for those values . The way, I tried to handle that in the query using couple of ways was :
IMP : My Database is SQL Server
where
(table.asset = isnull((:asset), table.asset) or table.asset in (:asset))
Now this works fine when I give a single asset number but when I give multiple values separated by comma like 123, 345 in the text box, then the statement fails saying 'encountered ,'
I also tried simply
table.asset in isnull((:asset),table.asset) -- but this doesn't work as it doesn't allow me to use in operater while using isnull and if i will use = operater then it won't work in case of multiple values
Any suggestions on how can I handle this? Any help would be highly appreciated.

thanks for replying, but i tried this option too, it did not work for me, neither isnull nor coalesce. I mean, the solution work for single value but when i pass multiple values then separated by a comma then it doesn't work and shows me an error like "Incorrect Syntax ','". I am using SQL server as DB and bip is 10.1.3.4.1
also please share the SR number, so i can also check the same.
can there be any other work around to this?

Hide views in MM01 for all material type in one time

I have a requirement to hide the views for all material type at at time.
i tried with OMS2 , it is allowing me to do for one matrial type.
could any one tell me how to hide the views for all material type in one short.

Hi Rakesh,
Up to my knowledge it is not possible to do view setting for all material type in one shot simply because it is material type dependent.
If trying to change fields in material master then use OMS9. This also material type linked to field reference group. And we can change the setting of field selection group in one shot. This will affect the material types linked to it.

PO Release Strategy - Only for non material based

Experts,
I have a requirement to implement a release strategy for a single plant for POs for NON material based purchases ( only for using account assignments, cost centers etc).
The release strategy I configured is working only for the specific plant I want... However, it works whether its a material based PO or a non material based PO.
How do i get the strategy to work for only the service based purchases, and not the material ones?

I did create a characterstic for item categories and added the one's I wanted to have... I did NOT include a blank because i thought that would make the difference between the material based PO and non PO. When we I create Po with material (even with no account assignment) it still goes through release.
Any reason why that is?
I dont believe the material group solution will not work either because we require material group for material and non material based POs..
Side note - when i try to use CEKKO with KTTNP, i get a "KTTNP does not exist error." So i used EKPO - KTTNP... hopefully thats ok, but please let me know if its not.

Condition record not pulled for all material

Hi,
I have three materials in sales order. now, for each material , I am maintaining some condition record in VK11. the problem i face is, if in case I don't maintain condition recrod for condtion ZCD1 for the first material A in sales order, the condtion records that I have maintain for the same condtion ZCD1 for the following materials are also not getting pulled. that's true for all conditiond in my pricing procedure. only those conditions for which system could find records for the first material, it pulls it for all other materials that follow material A in sales order. otherwise, system gives the messgae " condition record has been found but not set "
what could be the reason? this is certainly not the standard behavior.

I have checked this with creating new records for all material for all condtions. but, it is possible that a particular price condtion may not be maintained for the first material and which can very well be maintained for the folllowing materials. in that case, they are not pulled. the records are there for sure for other materials as 1) i could see them in VK13 and 2) the condition analysis tells me that condtion record is found but not set. no clue what it has got anything to do with first material..as soon as i maintain that condtion for first material (even zero value in Vk11), they start appearing for other materials as they are maintained.

Currently our servers are running with "Exchange 2010 SP2 RU7", we are planning to update the Rollup version to RU8 for SP2.
Is there any knows issues reported for "Rollup 8 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 2" till now ? is it safe to update the RU8 ?

(1) I had to roll it back:
The rollup released Tuesday the 9th caused random problems with systems ranging from general slow down to operation failed errors. It didn’t impact everyone at once and seemed to take 48hrs for everyone to have a problem. Rolling
back the update and rebooting the server seemed to resolve the issue.
Issues reported before the general mailflow stopping for everyone:
Nothing major … an occasional operation failed when I hit send but, it will go thru after I hit the send button a couple of times.
A MICROSOFT OUTLOOK BOX APPEARS WITH A TRIANGLE WITH A ! INSIDE IT. THE MESSAGE SAYS THE OPERATION FAILED.

ANOTHER CODE APPEARED WHEN I TRIED TO SEND THIS E-MAIL SO I CLOSED OUTLOOK AND RE-STARTED OUTLOOK. THE MESSAGE READ, CANNOT CREATE THE E-MAIL MESSAGE BECAUSE A DATA FILE TO SEND AND RECEIVE MESSAGE CANNOT BE FOUND. CHECK YOUR SETTINGS IN THIS MICROSOFT
OUTLOOK PROFILE. IN MICROSOFT WINDOWS, CLICK CONTROL PANEL.CLICK USER ACCOUNTS AND THEN CLICK MAIL. CLICK SHOW PROFILE, AND THEN CLICK PROPERTIES.
When he tries to open an e-mail, he gets an error message.
If he tries to mark an e-mail unread, he gets a different message.

no, it's not true. the following MARS lists what mars has direct support for:

hi,
here is an example that will change the TS.NoResult. You just have to change this area of the sequence to suit your needs
I haven't added any fancy stuff, such as adding a filedialog to get the seq file to change, you will find the various variables in the Locals.

I this I have selected Req Qty, Qty Received, Qty Withdrawn, Shortfall Qty. I am getting figures in Req Qty, Qty Withdrawn, Shortfall Qty but I am not able to get Qty Received figure. Let me know how I can get it i.e. for this any Note is required or any other configuration??
If I can get this figure than I can use this report for requirement.

Hello again.
Searching for a solution, I found a Logical Database for sales orders, that have all the information that you need.
Using like reference the post of Bhagavatula, in the same transaction SQVI you can use, instead of the suggested join, you can select a logical database called VAV in Data source.
This logical database links the tables, VBAK, VBAP, VBUK and KONV that is the central point of the question.
You can list the information of logical database using the transaction SLDB.
In 'Logical Database' inform VAV.
Press F8 to list all the fields.
