URGENT: JMStudio can't recognize my second webcam

Hello everybody
I'm trying to create an applet which capture from two webcams and display them into two different frames.
I already created one frame and it captures from the first cam perfectly.
NOW�
I cant create the second frame because the JMStudio cant recognize my new (second) webcam (it's not in the registry list even when I click the Detect capture devices button).
I also tried to run jmfinit but this did not work.
Even I uninstalled JMF and reinstall it but it always recognize the first webcam
Any suggestions to solve this situation.
(my second webcam is Logitech USB).
Please please give me any advice.

I run java VFWAuto, then the system recognize the second camera. BUT guess what ?????
It forgot all about the first one !!!.

That model MBP gives you a choice of cards to use – one at a time. it is not designed for them to run in tandem - splitting up the workload.

Yes. In general, any current USB model (will meet the "UVC" standard) can work on any Mac running Mac OS X 10.4.8 or newer.
More specifically:
(1) You have a choice of many Mac-compatible USB cam. Some examples of current compatible cams are described at http://www.mac-compatible-web-cam.com/.
(2) If you want a wireless cam, consider http://ecamm.com/mac/webcam/bt1/
(3) OS X already has everything it needs for Mac-compatible cams. I recommend that you not add any OS X software that comes with your chosen camera to your OS X Mac, at least until you have tested your new cam without adding anything.

Multiple cameras can be connected at one time, but asking your Mac to actually use (capture and process) more than one video stream at a time might cause processor and data bus capacity problems. The normal method is to connect your cameras and switch between them as needed, actually using only one at a time.

Hp laserjet pro 400 m401 dw - how do you get it to recognize the second print tray?

We just bought this printer a month ago, and we love it, so we bought the second tray (or drawer, however you want to think of it) because my biggest complaint everyday is reloading paper trays. WE have tried everything we can think of to get the printer to recognize the second tray and to pull paper from there when the first one is empty, but its not working. Its like we bought it for no reason. Does anyone know how to make it work? Thanks

You need to distinguish between the following:
Printer - does the printer itself know that the tray is present? Check by printing a 'configuration' report, or by checking settings with the Embedded Web Server. If the tray is not recognised, this implies a physical problem with tray connector, etc.
Computer - does the printer driver on your system know that the additional tray is available? On a Windows system, look at the Device Settings tab on the Printer Properties dialogue, and check that the extra tray is set to Installed rather than Not installed.

If it won't turn on then the monitor is dead (power supply?, video circuits?). Not worth repairing.
If you have a new iMac then it has thunderbolt. So exactly what is that monitor you are trying to connect? For TB you can connect a mini-displayport monitor. Probably (not 100% sure with TB) can use dvi or vga too if you have the appropriate adapter.

I can't recognize the DVD RW Optiarc

My system can't recognize the DVD RW on my Entertainment Notebook HP Pavilion dv6815el.
I've upgrade it to Windows 7 12 months ago, without problem, but from 5 days I've big troubles!
Maybe for some mistake, using Nero or Alcool virtual drivers, there is an incompatibily beetwen drivers.
Iìve suddenly unistalled those programs, but as in Device manager as on windows explorer I can't see it anymore
It seem to work only fiew seconds lighting and noising, when I load a CD or DVD, after it stops.
I tried with fixwin and by modifiyng regedit; now I tried your checks as suggested, but no results; there isnt!
And I can't open DVD/CD-ROM Drives find it in order to find and uninstall it..
I find only the HD drive and, if plugged, a external DVD RW.
Also restoring old system images, I cannot fix the big bug.
By driverwhiz I can see it; Pls see my shots as follows:

At last, I can't see, as in other models of HP notebooks, in the bottom, under the battery, the small screw in order to put out or change this Optiarc device, if damaged.

The easiest solution may be to run Windows System Restore. If you have Norton Internet Security installed, you will need to disable Nortons Tamper Protection as shown in Step 2, on the link below.

Once you've done this, shut down the PC. Windows System Restore is usaully best run in Safe Mode. Tap away at f8 as you start the PC to enter Windows Recovery Console. Use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode and hit enter. When this has loaded, from the Start Menu, click All Programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and launch System Restore. Pick a restore point before the problem occured and then proceed with the restore process. Windows will reboot as normal.
If this doesn't work or you do not have a restore point earlier than the problem, try the automated fixit from Microsoft on the links below.

Check if the drive is now working.
If the drive is not working, from the Start Menu, open the Control Panel and click on Device Manager. Click to open the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers. Right click on the first channel and select uninstall. Do not delete drivers if asked. When uninstalled repeat the process for each channel. Also if an ATA controller is listed, right click and uninstall this, again not deleting drivers if asked. Then open DVD/CD-ROM Drives. Right click the drive and select uninstall. Do not delete drivers if asked.
Reboot the PC and let Windows reinstall the devices. Check the drive again.
If it still isn't working, run the automated fixit from Microsoft on the link below again.

Next, from the Start Menu, open the Control Panel and click on Device Manager. Next click to open DVD/CD-ROM Drives. Right click the drive and select uninstall. Do not delete drivers if asked. When the device has uninstalled click on the 'Scan for Hardware Changes' icon ( usually just below Help on the toolbar ). Let windows reinstall the drive and see if it now works.

After I upgraded to Yosemite,iPhoto can't recognize my backup CDs created in iLife 09. The applications install disk won't install iphoto because iphoto 9.5 is already installed..I updated to a SSD and have the original Hard Drive with an updated iphoto which recognized the older CDs(thanks to iphoto expander). I thought that the iphoto that transferred with the new hard drive was the same as what was on the old one. I guess it wasn't. I really need to access my backups. HELP

Later version of iPhoto write to the library on opening, and so cannot open libraries on optical media, as that cannot be written to. Further, optical media is going e way of the floppy disk. Therefore, you need to use a different form of archiving and back up going forward.
To allow iPhoto to open these libraries you need to copy them to your Mac or an attached external disk.
To merge them into an existing Library will require that you use either Aperture (if you have it) or iPhoto Library Manager.

I own a SatelliteA300-15M. I bought the laptop 2 years ago. I have already 250GB hard drive which came with the laptop. Recently I got my laptop serviced from local shop. I noticed that it has an additional slot for another hard drive. I saw a post that some of the A300/A305 laptops have the space for second hard drive but not the connectors.
If anyone owns A300-15M can they please tell me if i can install a second internal hard drive in my model? Is there a sure way to find if I can really install a second hard drive?

So the case is claer: If you dont have a second SATA connector, you cant install a second HDD.
Check also the forum regarding such questions. The point is that one notebook series (e. g. Satellite A300) is always equipped with the same case but the hardware is different. So not all models have the same features. ;)

No you cannot install the second HDD because there is no HDD connector which would allows to connect the HDD to the mobo.
And No, its not possible to upgrade the mobo with such connector.
The X200 has the two HDD bays because some X200 support 2 HDDs and some dont support it.
Your X200 doesnt support 2 HDD

Here are the specs for your HP TouchSmart 320-1130a Desktop Computer. No, you can't install a second hard drive in this computer. The HP TouchSmart and All-in-One computers have more in common with laptops than they do with desktops.

For many 17" (or 17.3") machines such as Envy 17, dv, Pavilion 17 .... you can add a second HDD (my old loan dv7 has two HDD's and my current loan Envy 17 also has 2 HDD's). You would need the following kit:

Is your DV camera plugged in to AC power (not batteries only)? When you step down from 9 pins to 4 pins, you lose the "power" pins.

I can see other discs such as music and stuff so I know I have installed it correctly but how come I can't see the blank disc that I need to burn?

You can't burn discs remotely, you can only read data discs remotely (i.e. you cannot play movie DVDs either).
Either copy the files to the remote computer or get an external drive.
