Urgent : N-Step 14000109 workflow - Unable to identify Approvers

Hi Gurus,
We are using SRM 5.0. I'm trying to configure the N-Step over value limit workflow 14000109. I've made configuration for SLApprover and Spending and approval limits in the org structure. i've activated the workflow and has mentioned the start condition.
To understand that this workflow is being triggered, i've just configured this workflow for one particular product category AK00 I.e. I didn't configure any workflow for any other product categories. When I Create shopping cart using AK00 category, and check the shopping cart i get no errors while i pick up any other product category it mentions that no workflow found. So this confirms me that N-step workflow is being triggered.
but the issue is it doesn't identify the approvers. It builds a preview without mentioning who the approvers are.
Could someone help me as to how to fix this problem. Is this anything related to Agents? I'm not sure as to how configure agents.

      which have the parameters FLAG,ProjectDefinition,WBSElement2,User
      with export, import checkbox.

The communication with our TP is going well, we are able to send, receive messages over AS2 and send back MDN, but we are not able
to receive their MDN.
Edit:
It seems that after the latest MLR patch, the error changed to [IPT_HttpSendError] HTTP encounters send error :. Premature EOF encounter but the roots seem to lead to the problem with MDN as B2B is sending the message a couple of times now and gives the mentioned EOF error.

Hi Ramesh,
Yes, agreement uses AS2 IDentifiers. Incoming messages are recognized correctly, and we send back sync MDN that is correctly received by our TP. They also recieve our messages correctly although Oracle B2B does not recognize the MDN from them. I think that this causes that, now after applying the latest MLR patch, B2B tries to send it around 6 times and gives the Unexpected EOF error.

Hi all when i execute mail step in workflow i am getting following error-
SQL error in the database when accesing a table.
How to correct the error
   Database error text........: "SQL system error. MSGID= Job=038082/DEV05/WP02"

   Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).
   If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
   find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
   If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
   keywords:
   "DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR" "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB"
   "SAPLARFC" or "LARFCU03"
   "END_TRANSACTION_NONE_LOCAL_UPD"
   If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
   notification to SAP, include the following information:
   1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
      To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
   (Unconverted)".
   2. Corresponding system log
      Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
      Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes

Firstly are you using Send mail Activity or are u calling Fm SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.
Well I suppose u are calling the FM, in that case just check the data that you are fetching before calling this FM. This error is related to sql query so check your select statements used before sending mail.

QTP unable to identify objects in a flex application

Hi,
I am having an application that runs on flex 3.6 SDK. I am trying to automate the same using QTP 10.0, but, I am unable to identify the objects. I have installed the Flex 4.5 add-in, but still unable to recognize objects.
Upon browsing some forums, i found that I need to compile the files "automation.swc, automation_agent.swc, automation_dmv.swc, qtp.swc, automation_flashflexkit.swc" by including them in <include-libraries> ...</include-libraries> tags in "flex-config.xml" file present under "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 3 Plug-in\sdks\3.6.0\frameworks". We did that, but still, not able to identify objects.
It would be of great help to me if any some one could tell if I am missing out anything ?

not only need the objects be enclosed by their parent frame, but they also need to be "on top of it" ... meaning if you imagine your report layout as a set of layers that you look at from the side, your "layout surface" would be the bottom most layer and then all objects would be layered on top of each other. in this view, only objects that are in layers above a particular frame can become its children. after that the relationship is determined whether or not an object is inside a frame or not.
you might want to check your object navigator to see whether or not the particular objects are actually in the right place in the hierarchy.

Siebel database Configuration wizard unable to identify index tablespace

Hi,
I'm installing Siebel CRM 8.1.1 on AIX platform. We have RAC enabled database at backend and in that two tablespace has been created, one for data and another one for index. Now in the database configuration wizrd where we have to provide the name of both tablespaces; we provide the name of data tablespae in the Table Tablespace filed and index tablespace in the index tablespace filed of the configuration wizard. Now when we click on the next button. The configuration wizrd gives error of unable to identify index tablespace.
Why is this happening as index tablespace is properly created in the database. Please help me in this. You quick respance will be highly appriciated.

I thought it might be. grantuser.sql generally needs to be modified to suit the underlying database configuration. Glad you got it working.

Troubleshooting 6th gen ipod nano "unable to identify ipod"

Just this evening I plugged my ipod in to my laptop and I continually recieve the message that says something along the lines of "unable to identify ipod". I ran through the trouble shooting tips on the support website, including new usb port, restart, uninstall-reinstall, and turning off my anti-virus. Your problem is completely different from the original post. The OP could not run the correct version of iTunes on their older computer. You're much more likely to get the help you need by starting your own thread with a properly descriptive subject line.

Thanks for your post.
Have you configured the client to only use user authentication for 802.1X? If so, I would like to inform you that this is expected when you configure the 802.1X to user only authentication.
Here is the process that is followed.
1. As soon as client is connected to the network the Authenticator (switch) periodically sends EAP request packet/frame to the client/supplicant.
2. The client has to respond back with an identify and if its configured only for User authentication then it will send blank identity.
3. The Authenticator cannot validate and the authentication would fail.
4. Windows client is configured for a block time of 20 min. So, once the authentication fails the NIC card will go in block time for 20 min until there is a change in credentials. So, even if the authenticatior(swithch) is periodically sending EAP request
it will just ignore them
5. You will see event 15506 after the event 15514.

We are unable to identify objects inside the virtual machine. We want to perform some tasks inside the virtual machine. The virtual machine object is getting identified as image. So when we perform tasks like creating a folder or opening any application

Whether you record and run this coded UI test and then get the error message?
If possible, please tell me more detailed message about this issue.
Generally, I know that if you want to identify objects for coded UI test, I know that the
recorder needs to be present in the machine on which you are trying to record actions.

Decision Step in Workflow inbox in NWBC

Hi All,
As of now when I click on any task in my Business workflow inbox then it takes me to a Decision Step in workflow but this screen is displayed as GUI , but need to find a Webdynpro replacement for this Decison Step.
This is a standard Decision task step with minimal configuration, so want to know if there is any standard SAP provided Web dynpro to replace this.

It would be better to use the custom webdynpro application.
Please follow the below steps...
Create a Separate Webdynpo Application ( WDA ) where you need to put all the option as SBWP by coding.
After that you need to configure the SWFVISU.
Run Tcode SWFVISU.
here, select "Task Visualization' and maintain your standard task ( TS ) with ABAP web dynpro option.
Now selct your entry and click on Visualization Parameters as mentopn below.
APPLICATION ( WD application name )
DYNPARAM
NAMESPACE
SYSTEM_ALIAS
Second, ask Portal team to chagne the XML code for the above standard task and application ( i.e. WD appilcation which will be launced on clicking the task ).
From the next run of the workflow, WD applcitoon will be lauched from the protal.
for the old workitem this will not work.

We have 5-6 levels of approvals for Shoppoing carts.All the SC needs to be approved by 5-6 managers based on their approval limits.All the approval limits are assigned at the Role level .(We have created Z roles)
Please let me know how and where to define the roles in BADI to activate the N-step approval workflow for Shopping Cart-WS14000133

Better copy SAP workflow to your own then modify it. You can always add steps to workflow by right clicking wherever you want to add
You can then deactive the standard workflow from triggering from business object
