Need clarity on OSS note 994025

Hi,
We have a ECC system (Release 700, Basis Support Pack - 10).
According to the note 994025, if we download the transports (attached in the note), we will have 3 new t-codes available.
The attachments are given for the respective Basis support pack 9 also. But in the same note, its specified that the 3 new t-codes are available from basis support pack 14. This is quite confusing.
Can someone please let me know, if can simply import the transports given for the basis support pack 9 release or should i upgrade my support pack to 14 so that I have the t-codes available.
Points will be given for helpful answers.

Need suggesion to implement oss note

i need to impliment oss note 1162372
i went to snote transaction and downloaded the note
the doccumentation its saying that
'' Solution
The changes take effect after you have imported the Support Package.
If you want to perform the changes without importing the Support Package,
use the "Upload" function in the application toolbar of
transaction SU24 and import the attachment
'SU22DATA.TXT'.
See also the "Standard Procedure for Customers" section in Note 368496. ''
i went to transaction SU24 and clicked on upload buttion,, but unable to import the 'SU22DATA.TXT'.
how can i get this ?

Quick question. My company is going to configure our first site in Poland. Does anyone know what the basic OSS Note for currency and tax for Poland is? We havenot applied it yet and I need to look up the documentation to see what the base OSS for Poland includes.

Yes I saw that correction instruction..Do i need to create a program using that correction instruction or we need to install the package ...so that the mentioned program ZMBXKOKO will appear in the system...?

The problem cannot be resolved without correcting the application
program.
The statements MESSAGE, COMMIT WORK, ROLLBACK WORK, CALL SCREEN,
BREAK-POINT, WAIT, CALL FUNCTION ... DESTINATION, CALL FUNCTION ...
STARTING NEW TASK, RECEIVE RESULTS, CALL SELECTION-SCREEN, CALL
DIALOG, CALL TRANSACTION cannot be used within a database
loop.
You can collect the data needed for these statements together in an
internal table and process them
in a loop.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_CURSOR" "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB"

Help needed applying OSS note 981295 in SAP ECC 5.0 with SAP Kernel 640_REL

Hi Experts,
Our functional team is trying to implement a kind of workflow through a notification via SAP Inbox (transaction code SBWP) after the release of a Purchase Order (Transaction code ME29), this is every time when a purchase order is released through transaction code ME29, a notification will be sent to the SAP Inbox (transaction code SBWP). So according to this they told me to implement OSS note 981295, but using transaction SNOTE I get the message that this note can't be implemented in my system this because my SAP Kernel version is the release 6.40 and the needed SAP Kernel for this note is from version 7.00 to version 7.10. So what do you recommend please in this case in order to implement the required functionality on our SAP ECC 5.0 System?

Note clearly states
This note is only relevant if the following Support Package is installed in the system:
NW04s: Support Package SAPKB70008
Meaning is not relevat to your case. You need to keep looking... if you open an OSS message people from SAP might put you in the right direction.

HELP urgently needed: My Sandberg FireWire for Laptop will not start on my T60

Let me start with information on my T60:
OS information: Microsoft Windows XP
OS version: 5.10.2600 Service Pack 2
Processor: x86 Family 6 Model 14 Stepping 8
Memory: 3.135.856 kb
BIOS version: 2.09 (79ETC9WW)
Machine type-Model: 1951A47
I have just got a new Sandberg FireWire for Laptop, a PC Card with 3 6-pins connectiont. After inserting the card in the PC Card slot, the Windows Device Manager tells me that there are problems with the card. Looking at the 1394 Card Properties the status says:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10) - Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."
The troubleshooter did not solve my problem. I have tried disconnecting, re-connection, shut down Windows and start again etc.
At Sandberg Help Desk they tell me that I have two slots in my laptop, one with a 16 bits bus and another with a 32 bits slots, and I should use the latter. It seems that I can use the lower slide only in my laptop and I cannot push the card into the upper slide. There is not enough room for it.
Here is what I found on Lenovo's support site on my type & model:
PC Card
Conforms to the PC Card Standard 95
Type II slot
Both the 16-bit Release 2.1 card standard and the 32-bit CardBus card are supported.
Have a look at these screen captures.
What should I do to solve my urgent problem!?

The status right now is:
The PC Card reader works on my T60
If I use a Firewire PC Card it will not start - as described above (on T60)
The PC Card work properly on my T61P - and I succeeded importing a video file from a digital camera using the Fireswire PC Card.
So what does a wise man do in this situation??
Please help me as I urgently need to know how to solve this serious issue!!
Have you got an idea? Can I import the video in another way??

I don't think there is any upgrade that you can purchase for CS2. If you need to reinstall CS2 then see the following...

OSS Notes issue.. help needed

Regarding OSS Notes:398217, When I open this oss notes, the status is showing "Cannot be implemented', when I try to implement it is showing message "SAP Note does not contain valid correction instructions'. What will be the issue here? Please help me.

Hi Shreekant,
There could be two reasons:
Reaons 1:
Not all SAP notes involve changes to programs, some notes can also involve make configuration (SPRO) changes which need to be done manually by the system user. Hence if the note is the type, then you cannot implement it, but need to read the note and implement the correction instructions manually.
Reason 2:
The SAP version is higher than the version for which the SAP note is intended.
Now here note 398217 does make changes in a program however it's version is upto 4.6C. You can check program RLMOBINV from SE38 and go to subroutine UPDATE_TO_DATABASE and check whether the chnage indicated by the note has already been implemented. If your SAP version is > 46C then it has and hence SAP wont allow you to implement a obsolete note for this version.

Software Updater comes on, states that I urgently need this update. Yet when I agree the s/w update server connection goes on an on but do not seem to connect. What is the problem?

I have a Dell PC. This Software Updater comes on saying I need to update . I states that I urgently need this update! Norton says okay. I go ahead and approve. Then it start...updater connecting to update server... and it goes on an on and on. until I turned it off.
I have done that several times. I have even left it on to go on about my business. But apparently it hasn't unloaded anything because it keeps coming back on when I start up my computer.

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.
