Urgent need: how to decode usr02
On my laptop sandbox, I can see the password in table usr02 but
in an encrypted form.
Could you tell me how to decode the password?

This would lock the user.
Did you check the value of login/no_automatic_usr_sapstar?
(should be 0, otherwize the system will not recreate the sap* user)
You may also try (the last option that is avaible):
if you have another system (for example PROD),
you can over-ride the password of your users (field bcode in usr02)
from the system you know the password.
p.s
you can not copy password of diffrent user,
e.g: user A has password "ABCDE",
user B has password "ABCDE",
the values of the BCODE in usr02 would be diffrent from user A to B
although they thave the same passord,
this is because the encryption is per user,
however, user A that have the password "ABCDE"
in diffrent systems/client will have the same BCODE
(the encryption algoritem uses only the user-name to encrypt)

2) click into "File mgr."
3) select and enter into "E: memory card", the one in between "backup" and "C: Phone memory",
4) press options, and scroll down, here u can see an option called "Memory card options"
5) press the arrow at the tip of the "Memory card options", now u r supposed to see "Rename" and "Format".
and now u r able to format the memory card without using the pc. rmb to backup all the data that u want...

I tightened all HD screws and it didn't help. With the machine running and side of the case off, I physically stopped both the video card fan and the front case fan with my finger for a couple seconds and the noise continued. I also took all hard drives out one by one and rebooted each time. Again, the noise continued until I took out the Mac HD in Bay 1, rebooted, and I had a very quiet, silent machine. The issue is the hard drive in bay 1 that shipped with the computer, it's without a doubt causing the hum/woosh sound. I still need to know if I can safely swap the Mac HD from bay 1 to bay 4 without any issues to the operating system. I would like to try that to see if it dampens the noise but I also want to make sure this swap won't screw up my machine at all.

For your workshop especially on marketing planning you have to have alot of questions to ask them.
basically CRM marketing plan and BI BPS are closely integrated functionalities in campaign management.
Functioanlly find out waht is that they are looking at to gain from budgeting.
basically the lcient would like to fix a budget for the campaign / marketing plan for the financial year and then will break it down for further campaigns / marketing elements. at the end he would like to eveluate what is the budget he planned and what he actually spent. There is no nned of project systems even key figure planning can do plan vs actual cost analysis.
based on this the marketing manager can plan the campaign success and there are standard analytics available for this.
It is not easy to mention all those in this forum and i suggest you can go through these best practices and help in SAP.

HELP urgently needed: My Sandberg FireWire for Laptop will not start on my T60
Let me start with information on my T60:

I have just got a new Sandberg FireWire for Laptop, a PC Card with 3 6-pins connectiont. After inserting the card in the PC Card slot, the Windows Device Manager tells me that there are problems with the card. Looking at the 1394 Card Properties the status says:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10) - Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."
The troubleshooter did not solve my problem. I have tried disconnecting, re-connection, shut down Windows and start again etc.
At Sandberg Help Desk they tell me that I have two slots in my laptop, one with a 16 bits bus and another with a 32 bits slots, and I should use the latter. It seems that I can use the lower slide only in my laptop and I cannot push the card into the upper slide. There is not enough room for it.
Here is what I found on Lenovo's support site on my type & model:

Type II slot
Both the 16-bit Release 2.1 card standard and the 32-bit CardBus card are supported.

Sounds to me like a driver configuration problem. Maybe something bad happened during driver install. I would recommend uninstalling the device from device manager by right clicking on it and hitting uninstall. Reboot the computer. Have a go at it again. Also, test your pcmcia port functionality by finding and plugging in a different card. See if that works. It might need repair.

The status right now is:
The PC Card reader works on my T60
If I use a Firewire PC Card it will not start - as described above (on T60)
The PC Card work properly on my T61P - and I succeeded importing a video file from a digital camera using the Fireswire PC Card.
So what does a wise man do in this situation??
Please help me as I urgently need to know how to solve this serious issue!!
Have you got an idea? Can I import the video in another way??

I would like to know about "How DAC decodes its Source System Parameters into Informatica mappings??".
Is it an informatica mapping? or through a file? or its internal to DAC server?
Can we say the DAC server to decode it differently i.e. can we costomize the decode process? For example
$$START_DATE - i gave "Custom Format(1950-05-21 01.23.56) @MM/DD/YYYY" at dac - and it decodes as '05/21/1950' but I want it to decode as TO_DATE('05/21/1950','MM/DD/YYYY') is this possible?
Note that the informatica mapping takes the first decoding '05/21/1950' as number and through a sql error.....

DKPlease set the values of $$FILTER_BY_SET_OF_BOOKS_ID, $$SET_OF_BOOKS_ID_LIST in DAC and check if the values get reflected in the parameter files that DAC generates for informatica at run time.
If this does'nt work, see if the BI services were restarted after doing change in the parameter file. The services need to be restarted in order to reflect the change. -

I have an idea to replace AudioFileWritePackets in callback AudioInputCallback. And that inBuffer->mAudioDataByteSize bites from pointer inBuffer->mAudioData will be amplitude-time signal representation... But I do not know how to decode that memory area: looks like I need to work with a pairs of bites (mBytesPerPacket = 2). May I represent them as one of "standart" types (like int)? Urgently need to de-fragment entire production DB
I would like to try something but need to check first if it is going to work.
We urgently need to reorganize/defrag our production database server but cannot get sufficient down time. The Oracle version we are using is 8.1.7.4, running on HP-UX 11 unix operating system.
However I had a thought. I currently have a spare machine with sufficient RAM, CPU and disk capacity to restore the Production Database server on to. Then I could simply do a de-frag (ie export/import) of the entire DB on the restored system, leaving the Production DB server operational. Once de-fragged the restored system could be brought up to date by manually applying copies of the archived redo logs off the real Production database server. The final step would involve restoring the de-fragged system back on to the actual Production Database server. Hope this makes sense.
Can anyone confirm if this is going to work?
If this will not work can anyone suggest how I could completely de-frag my production database server, without upgrading the Oracle version or buying any additional software, possibly making use of the spare machine I have?

KhalilIf you need to defrag now, then without some kind of plan to change the way that you organize tablesand indexes you're going to have to defrag in the future.
Avoiding fragmentation is simple -- you assign tables and indexes to tablespaces based on their size, and you ensure that every segment within each tablespace is the same size. You do this by always setting pctincrease to zero, and always setting initial = next.
In your case you can defragment segment by segment by creating new tablespaces based on extent sizes of 64kb, 1Mb, and 16Mb (for example), and over a number of small downtimes you can ...
