Urgent please help

Question

hi all,
we are running two instance in two different machines A and B (oracle 9.2.0.1.0/win2000). we exported the data from A and copied to machine B.data has not been modified since 'copy'.
now the problem is , the following query
select count(*)
from table1@xyz c
inner join table12 a on a.party_id = c.account_id
inner join table3 m on m.old_id = c.id
give 0 in machine A and the same qurey gives 23453 in machine B.
and another thing is if we trim all the columns involved in the join condition and run it in machine A then it gives 23453 as in machine B.what could be the problem in machine A.please help,as the issue is urgent one

Hi, you can generate and check an explain plan on each server, and compare them.
