Urgent - R/3 transports???

Hi All,
I have a bunch of datasources collected into a transport in R/3. Now suddently they changed the client and they are telling that transports should go to QA only from that client.
How can I collect all those object fresh into new requests in new client? Are these any outstanding issues if I delete all the old transports and collect them into new transports? How can I collect all these objects into new transports?
Can someone please help me, it is urgent.

The data sources are client independant definition( except for COPA data sources ). Just to transport from a different client you may not need to change the data sources as they are client independant. You just have to create a new transport on the new client. Goto new client -> SE01 -> Create Transport -> Select Transport of Copies -> Give description ( target system client etc ) -> Save.
Next step in the new trasport is to add the object from transport in another client .To do this go in SE01 dispaly the new transport of copies. Put cursor on this transport and select "Include Objects" ( cntrl + F11 ) from application tool bar . In this select the first radibutton ( Object List from Request ) -> Give the old request from other client and proceed to add the objects.
Delete the old transport ( and before this you may have to delete the objects from this in SE01 and also unlock the objects in SE03 if the number of objects is large)
Lock the objects in new transport ( SE01 -> Menu Request -> Lock Objects ).
If you ahve messed up with old transport add the missing objects manually in new transport but you will have to identify the missing objects and the directory entry.
You are ready to go.

Urgent Correction: Release transport request (transport is red)

Hello!
Has some one experience to solve the problem bellow:
By an urgent correction it is not possible to release transport. In the field "Task" I can see a red point that not allow to proceed.
If I release the transport manually in the satelite syytem, without CharM, my import runs with error:

Hi Liza:
You cannot delete released transport requests.
Don't import them into QAS or PROD.
If you already imported them, then your only option is to delete the Objects manually in DEV, capture the deletes in a new request and transport th enew one.
As you know if you released a request, you can ignore it without moving it anywhere.

Extremely Urgent (BPS - STS Transport to Quality)

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to transport *Status and Tracking System* (Transport Request includes Sub Plan and Planning Session).
The objects get attached to the Transport Request (TR) in the Development System. We release the request to Quality System.
However, the STS objects do not show up in BPS_TC in Quality System. We checked the log in STMS in Quality, it shows that the objects have been transported to Quality.
Please could some one among you give a possible reason or solution to it as we have been given limited time for its completion

Urgent: Problems in Transports

Hi Gurus,
My requirement is to transport all the activated objects from BW Dev to QA but while activating the objects I have not stored them in Zpackage(own) but rather in Local Object $TMP . would anyone please suggest me how to move all the objects in $TMP to my own Package. I appreciate it in Advance.

Try to look for any Z* transportable package in your system, maybe someone did the work for you before ;).
In se80 transaction you can create a package for transporting. Choose package from drilldoun and press enter (system will ask you to create if no exist).
In the next dialog it is very important that you assign to it a transport layer.
After that in transport conection in rsa1 you have several settings. Grouping (before or after data flow, necesary objects) and collect (automatically option select all object automatically).
Drag and drop a cube from example to the left side of window, then objects matching grouping option will be dropped too, choose those that you want to transport.
Press the truck button, system will ask change package for all $TMP objects (select yours) after that system will ask to create a transport request.

Urgent issue in transport - ID objects are missing

Hi Gurus
I used CTS+ to transport request to IR and ID (SAP PI).
The transport to repository has successfully been done. However the ID objects are not visible. I have checked the changelists but its not visible there.
In cache notification I can some notifications with green status for user
*nwdi_ctsadm.

Urgent:: How to transport customer exit from dev to test system?

We have created a Customer exit in our development system in the $tmp package, and we want to transport it to our test system. Can you please tell us how to proceed on this. We are not able to change the package as our package is a development package and so does not start with Y or Z.

Your package is RSR right.. this is the package for the function group XRSR where in this user exit exists.
you need to have a separate development class either starting with Y or Z. If not, ask any developer or your sap basis team to create one for you. then you can assign this development class to your user exit.
To check this, go to SE38 - enter your program name ZXRSRU01, display, in the menu "goto", CHECK "object Directory entry", you should have this development class.

Hi DST,
If you have the same oject available in BWD the u can create a new CTS , include the object in question and retransport or if u know the request u used to transport this object previously to BWQ then u can re import the same request again to BWQ ....need not worry abt other objects in the request.

Urgent : error to Transport the PC with Two DTP's

Hello Experts,
I have a process chain to load the dta from PSA > DSO->CUBE. I am using two DTP's. everything was working fine thorugh in Development System.
But I am not able to transport the PC into Quality System.
My process chain has the following Variants.
Start Variant
Load Data into PSA ( Info Package )
DTP used to load data from PSA to DSO
Activate DSO
Delete PSA Request ( to avoid duplication in DSO as its full load)
Delete Index ( Iinfo Cube)
DTP ( load data from DSO to InfoCube
Create Index ( Info Cube)

I checke all the DTP's and data targets in my target system as well as in my source saystem, all are active.
I tested the process chain in Development system everything is working fine. Only problem is I am not able to transport the PC from Development to Quality System..
While importing the Transport request into Quality system imoprt fails and raised error messages.
I did manual load into the data targets in my target system. Every thing was working fine.
Eventhough I am not able to transport the PC into Quality system.
Any suggestions please.

Release strategy-- very very urgent

hi,
i have created the release strategy & its working properly in devolopment client. The entire thing is transported to quality client. But the characteristics values are not coming in the classification tab of release strategy. I have saved even the view in transport request but still the values are not coming. Hi,
The transport of release procedure customizing data can only be done in
a restricted manner. Please take a look at attached Note 86900 and
follow the procedure described in this note, in order to correctly
transport your release strategies.
The classification data must be sent over using ALE. It does not
get transported directly. Notes 45951, 86900 and note 365604 should
help. Please follow the instructions in note 45951.
You can obtain information about how to set-up ALE in the Online
Documentation CD (R/3 Library -> CA - Cross Aplication Components ->
Business Framework Architecture -> ALE Integration Technology ->
ALE Quick start).
However, if you can't set-up ALE, you can re-create the classification
data agin in your target system.
For that you have to:
1. assign new values to the characteristic master data (trx. CT02)
2. assign the new data to the classification system (trx. CL30)
3. verify the consistency with trx. CL24. Please see note #186809.
For more information, please see note #365604.
There is another possibility that you could take into consideration for
the classification is to import them via batch input:
RCCTBI01 for creating characteristics
RCCLBi01 for creating classes
RCCLBI03 for classification

Urgent Correction 'In Development'

Hi,
In Urgent Correction when we execute action 'In development' a transport request is also created. How is the transport request creation triggered from "in development' action.
Actually i have a requirement where i want to separate the two actions 'set in development' and 'create transport request'. I compared the 'In development' action for both normal and urgent correction but couldn't find the difference. The 'Set in development' action doesnt create transport request in case of normal correction.
In case you know where the difference lies please provide insights.

Select the transaction type and under assign actions delete entry
E0002 CREATE_REQ
now when you execute action 'in development' in urgent correction the transport request is not created.
You can create a new action 'Create Transport Request' similar to the one for normal correction.

ChaRM Transport Consistency

Dear Experts,
I have a questions that is related to the transport consistency with ChaRM. Scenario:
1. I create a change at an object X using a normal correction and transport it to the QAS system via the maintenance cycle functionality
2. Now I make another change to the same object X using an urgent correction and transport it to QAS and PROD quickly
3. After the maintenance cycle is updated again, the normal correction is imported to PROD and overwrites the urgent correction again (?) ! This would revert the urgent correction!
Is there a functionality that controls these inconsistencies?

Hi Marc,
This will depend on how you have customized your maintenance cycle. When you've customized your own variant for the tasklist associated to your cyle or use the correct standard one (SAP0 not SAP1), make sur that you've selected the option Transport Request remains in import buffer after import.
By choosing this, your transport requests associated to urgent correction will stay in import queue after being imported in QA. This means that when you will import the project the import sequence will be preserved and no regression will occur.

As we dont have the activate button high lighted in update rules.

Hi,
Since the production system is not chnagable you will will not get the activate button. you can only see the updaterules in display mode.
You should activate the update rule in the Dev environment and capture the same in a transportable request and transport the same to Production environment.
If it is very urgent and the transport from Dev would take time. You can as the basis to open the productyion client from tcode scc4, once the procuction client is open you will be able to activate the update rules in production system itself.
