Urgent - Skype phone number not receiving incoming...

Hi,
We are using VOIP portable numbers with Skype and two separate accounts of ours are down. When the numbers are called, the message the ringer gets is "this number is currently not accepting calls". The privacy settings have not been changed (they are correct). There seems to be no support to get up and running again. Our stored card details are up to date and our subscriptions are all in date. There is nothing apparent which is stopping us from working.
These are used as business numbers so I would appreciate any help ASAP. This needs to get sorted.

We have two UK Skype In nos. - the 0207... number has not worked since b4 09h30 (intermittant no ring tone or engaged tone) - the 0208... number is working OK. Am creating this post as the only way of recording of this issue.

Phone does not receive incoming calls

Please help. Verizon can't seem to. My phone does not receive 90% of its incoming calls or messages. I have been told to delete all of my messages and call logs- no use. I have tried removing the battery and resetting the phone. I did make sure the phone was not in "do not disturb" mood- it is not. People who call me say that it doesn't ring, just goes straight to voice mail even though the phone is on. Very frustrating problem as my 6 year old phone before seemed to give me better service. Check the Call Forwarding section. There are two options to select. One says Forward All Calls and the other says Forward Unanswered Calls. Make sure Forward All Calls is not selected. That would cause all calls to go to the number specified which may be your voicemail. To get there from the home screen click the Phone icon > push the option button (left of the trackball) > click options > click Call Forwarding.

IMessage sent to verizon phone number not received

My friend has a Verizon iPhone 4S and an iPad.
She has her phone # and email address associated with iMessage on both the iPhone and the iPad.
As of today, iMessages sent to her phone number (for example, from my AT&T iPhone 5 and everyone else) never appear on her iPhone.
These iMessages, however, do appear in "Messages" on the iPad.
iMessages sent to the e-mail address do appear on both the iPhone and iPad!
This is really bad, as she is not getting any iMessages sent to the phone number on the iPhone ( that is any text message from anyone on the iMessage network).
Any ideas? This is so bizarre. I can imagine an iMessage getting lost, but why would it just not appear on one device...

SIgned out ALL devices of iMessage
Sent text message to the iPhone - it showed up as a regular green text message as expected
Signed devices back in , starting with the iPhone
Back at the same situation. iPhone not getting iMessages that are sent to the phone #.
I wonder if there is some problem in the IMessage world.

Bought a skype phone number so I can receive calls thru skype. Just "blinks" that it's an incoming call but no ringtone. where can I go to fix this?

Just out of curiosity, is it only your Skype Number that does not have the classic Skype incoming call ring tone, or all calls? The first place I would check (I am a Windows 7 user) is where I have my audio settings for "ringing" set. I would also check in the Sounds settings under "which events play a sound."

Receiving sms to skype phone number

Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to receive SMS texts to your skype phone number? I have a phone number associated with my skype account and would like to send as well as receive to this number.

This does not work for me.
I am on Skype 5.7.0.1130 for the Mac.
In the Skypereferences . . . :Messaging windoid.
I click on the "Set Number..." dropdown menu and type in my mobile phone number. I keep getting the message that "Error on sending code to mobile phone" etc.
Now -- perhaps this is my issue, I have a brand new Skype mobile phone number for Germany. So new that I just got it two days ago. I was expecting to be able to send and receive text messages on this -- primarily from my bank and places like that which send you secret codes to your SMS when you are trying to log in. Does this work? Can it work? Why is it so hard to actually talk to a Skype Customer Support person??

To my knowledge, I've only seen this for imessage only and not SMS.
The other users would need to have send read receipts enabled on their phone.

Not all of Skype's Online Numbers can be used as Caller ID, appearing on the displays of phones you call from Skype. Online Numbers from a few countries (Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Hong Kong, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US) can be used this way, where the others are not permitted to be used in this way. If your Online Number is not from one of the countries I listed above, then the only option would be to use the two-step verification process so that a mobile number (or a landline number that can receive SMS messages) is your Caller ID number when calling from Skype.

Skype phone number for my business as an expatriate

Hello everyone, I am looking to use skype for my business, more exactly, I am an expatriate and I need to buy/use a skype phone number that has the same format as local numbers have in my homeland. Before I invest in one of those numbers, what I would like to know - for sure - is: 1 - Are skype numbers like any other landline numbers, meaning is there any way a client finds out the number he/she is calling is not a genuine/regular landline number? 2 - If the client is let's say in Canada, my skype number looks like a local French landline (eg: 0141315184) number, and my computer is in Zimbabwe, will the client pay more than if the computer was in France?. 3 - If the client again calls from Canada, dialing my skype number will be as for regular landlines right? eg: +33[removed for privacy] Thank you in advance for support. I live in Canada, and I was wanting a Skype phone number, but it seems Canada is not a country in which one can have this feature, is that so?

Sign on to your Skype account dashboard where you manage your payment methods and subscriptions. You should see a tile that says Skype Number; if you click on that icon/box/tile, your number will be shown.

I am trying to send a text message from my iPad when I enter phone number I get error message phone number not registered with iMessages from contacts

When attempting to send text message from iPad I get error message "phone number not registered with iMessage REMOVE" the number is for iPhone an includes area code and country code. How do u register a number with iMessage?.

The iPad is not capable of sending an SMS message so texts, pictures, etc., must go through iMessage. The destination device must be registered with the Apple servers by turning on iMessage. Therefore, the user with the iPhone must enable it for iMessage.
