URGENT: Skype Subscription Problem!

I purchase a subscription just now and amount as been charge but its not active. still i cant able to make calls poping up insufficient credit msg.

    I have 400 min subscription. I red all the additional subscription detail and I should be able to add another subscription to my skype account to the same country!
    When I added new subscription, it charged my but then after it just replaced with the previous subscription not adding the new one!

    Hi Mahdi,
    You can't have two identical minute subscription for the same country active the same time. If you buy the same subscription again it will be appended afterwards.

  • Skype India subscription problem

    Dear Skype Team,
    I am using Skype India Subscription 2500 Mins last two months.
    First month it is working Fine.
    So, I recommended Skype to my friends. but from last months Skype subscription is not working fine. Every Two Minutes automatically disconnecting the call. and lot of time there is a problem with Voice.
    Im trying to chat with your Live support also but they are also not responding.
    Today my subscription is going to Finish. If u try to Solve the problem today i will continue with skype. otherwise i will delete my account and my friends account from skype. and i will advise my friends to cancel the subscription from skype due to non responding and Voice call problem. My friends also having same problem in voce calls.Everyone is blaming me due to skype is recommended by me.

    I cannot cancel my skype subscription. I purchased only one month and I have no money in my account for another month and yet Skype is constantly attempting to take more out.   • Skype Subscription, still see ads.

    Hello. I've had a skype subscription for years now. In the far past I did not see any ads, however a little over a year ago I started seeing advertisements. I've been in contact with Skype support multiple times and I have always been told that this is a bug and it will be fixed next patch. I've updated multiple times and even got the new update with the new design. I still see advertisements.
    From what I know this shouldn't be happening if I have a subscription. Can you please offer some solution for this problem? I see advertisements on the home screen and on top of my chat windows.

    Are you using the same account you used to sign in here on the Skype Community to sign in to your Skype account? You can verify that by using the "Sign out" link from the menu "Skype" in Skype for Windows desktop. This will take you back to the sign in page and you can ensure there that you are signin in with the correct account that has the subscription active.
    If you still see advertisements as a next steps we would need Skype logs from your instance so our engineers can have a look what's going wrong in your case.

Last time I got a reply saying to relog and that fixed it. However, I have tried doing that this time around and I am still seeing ads. Can this be fixed please? Thank you.

    Sad to still see no reply. While I did have this issue in the past and it did take a few weeks to resolve, at least it did get a reply...

    Hi there i recently added a skype subscription to mexico so i can call landline and mobile phones, but there is a problem.  Everytime i try to call my friends in Chiapas it says call ended, but I know the number is correct and everything is entered correctly becasue i can call it on my Mexico telcel phone.  Can anyone give me any tips as to why this isnt working?

    When calling a Mexican mobile phone from Skype, you have to start the number with +52 1 followed by the Mexican area code and number.  The +52 is the Mexican country code, and the 1 that comes after it is a special code to signal that the call is going to a Mexican mobile phone.  This is mandatory for people calling Mexican mobiles from outside Mexico, including through Skype.  You don't use 01, 044, or 045 when calling Mexican mobile phones from Skype, either.

    This is the first time it's ever happened. I downloaded the new operating system for Firefox but I can't install it until the Firefox currently running on my laptop quits, which it won't.

  • Office 365 Home Premium Skype Subscription Element

    i've recently purchased a 7" linx win8.1 tablet which also came with a years subscription to Office 365 Home Premium including an hour of skype minutes.
    these free minutes are showing on my skype account page so i'm puzzled that when i tried to make a call i'm told i dont have any credit to do so.
    what is going on here?  my free hour expires on January 19, 2015 and that's daylight robbery if im unable to use these minutes before then!
    i was trying to call Chile from the UK & UK to UK landline - both countries are on the list of available destinations.

    In order to associate the world minutes subscription with a different Skype account you must first deactivate the original account, then associate the subscription with a new Skype account from your "Office account page". If you activate the Skype World Minutes subscription on another account, you will have a full 60 minutes package again.
    Note: A Skype account can be deactivated once every 60 days. If you attempt to deactivate an account a multiple times, an error message will be displayed at each attempt.
    Please follow these steps to deactivate the original account:
    1- From the Office My Account page in the section Account Options, click View my Microsoft account.
    2- Click View Subscriptions. The subscriptions associated with the Microsoft account are displayed
    3- Click the Skype subscription you want to manage and click Manage. The Skype
    subscription options are displayed. Click Deactivate Skype world minutes
    4- Then click Deactivate to complete the cancellation
    After that you can activate your Skype World minutes with an another Skype account by clicking on Get started with Skype and following the steps.

  • Origin of call with Skype subscriptions

    I understand the Skype subscriptions and their rates when calling TO a specific country, but does it matter where you call FROM/ the origin of the call if you have a subsription to call that particular country?
    For example:  If I buy a year subscription to call landlines and mobiles in the United States, for the $2.99 a month, does it matter WHERE I am calling from (such as France, London, Germany) as long as I am only calling TO the United States? Or is that rate only for people in the U.S. trying to call others in the U.S? I'm a U.S. resident studying abroad for a year and wasn't sure if the origin of the call/ where I call from, is as important as where the subsription is set up to call to.

    When calling telephones, the people you call may see a number based on where Skype patches your call into the telephone network.  When calling phones across the USA and Canada, this is often done from locations in California.  Users have no control over where Skype patches calls into the telephone network, as this is done in part to minimize the costs for those calls (and how there are lower rates in general when calling with Skype, and "unlimited" subscriptions for some parts of the world).  
    Skype has been doing this for many years, even before its acquisition by a big US-based software company.  It's not some part of a scheme for the US taking over the world.  It is probably cheaper for Skype to patch calls bound for Canadian phone numbers into the phone network from wherever it is being done now (probably in California) than it would be to patch the calls into the phone network somewhere in Canada.

    Hi, I am trying to fnd out if I can use the same Skype subscriptions on my Mobile and my PC/Skype Phone in the office.
    My office Skype phone works perfect, - now I want to venture out and use Skype on my Mobile to call and receive national US as well as International/Worldwide calls.  I have the appropriate subscriptions on my Skype office phone already.
    Can I use the same subscriptions on both devices??

    Yes, you can by loggin in with the Skype name on both devices. But you can't perform calls using your subscriptions from both devices *simultaneously*.

    Right now I have 2 Skype subscriptions. One is for a year and the other gets billed automatically every month for $2.99. I want to cancel the month-to-month subscription. I went to my account and only found the year subscription listed. However, I'm getting charged $2.99 for the month of October on top of paying for the year.   • Why do I have to cancel my Skype subscriptions jus...

    For several years I have used a prepaid reloadable Visa debit/credit card to pay for my Skype subscriptions. My current card expires at the end of November, so I have now been issued a new card and it is active. My new card has the exact same account number. Only the expiry date, and my private security code, have changed. I am not able to just update the expiry date of my credit card in my Skype account settings as there is no option for that in those settings. In order to use my new credit card I have to delete my old credit card information. However, when I was about to do that I got a message that in order to delete my old credit card I must first cancel my Skype subscriptions. This makes no sense to me. I do not want to cancel my Skype subscriptions because I do not own any other phone so it is essential to me. Also, I have a Skype call-in number that I want to keep. If I am required to cancel my subscriptions in order to add my new credit card, I will lose that number, which will be a major pain in the ass for me. All I need to do is provide Skype with my new expiry date of my new Visa card, but there is no easy way to do that. Why not? And why is it so hard to get any answers from actual Skype employees? Why does Skype treat long-time paying customers like this?

    The trial would expire after 30 days and you would not have to cancel it.
    In case you would like to uninstall the software, please follow the below steps:
    Before you uninstall, close all applications currently running on your system—including other Adobe applications, Microsoft Office applications, and browser windows.
    Do one of the following:
    In Windows XP, open the Windows Control Panel and double-click Add or Remove Programs. Select the product that you want to uninstall, click Change/Remove, and then follow the onscreen instructions.
    In Windows 7, open the Windows Control Panel and double-click Programs and Features. Select the product that you want to uninstall, click Uninstall, and then follow the onscreen instructions.
    IMPORTANT: Mac OS has new uninstall functionality. DO NOT drag applications to the trash to uninstall them. To safely uninstall on Mac OS X, double-click the product installer in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers or double-click the Uninstall alias located in the Application folder. Select Remove Preferences, then Authenticate as an Administrator and follow the onscreen instructions.
