URGENT: Stuff I Purchase I Itunes doesn't Transfer!

I just purchased an application, Dracula or something like that for my Ipod Touch and it never downloaded and transferred over to my Itunes. Something this occured a month ago or so when I purchased a Darian Rucker single and it never showed up on my Itunes. At that time I thought I didn't do something right. Well now I know I did it right but not there!
So is there something I did wrong? Do I have to wait? Or do I have to directly contact Itunes support.

Thanks for your reply but I don't think that's the issue.  Here's why:
It only happens on certain iTunes movies.  If I play the preview for the movie the sound plays perfectly.  I can watch the same scene in a preview and hear the voices but when I watch it in the downloaded movie it doesn't play the voices.
I can also play movies that I Airplay from my computer and the sound is again, perfect voices and all.

  • Every movie purchase through iTunes fails to transfer to my iPhone or iPad and the message I get is this: some of the items in the itunes library, including were not copied to the ipad because you are not authorized for them on this computer... help?

For a couple months now, every movie purchase through iTunes fails to transfer to my iPhone or iPad giving me the error: "some of the items in the iTunes library, including were not copied to the iPad because you are not authorized for them on this computer". I have read many forums about deleting, reinstalling, de-authorizing and authorizing my iMac through the iTunes store. Many suggestions don't work except to rename the movie to *.MP4 in Finder under the iTunes movie directory. I imagine this is a setting or a bug somewhere... any suggestions on how to bypass having to rename the files in Finder? My research into Google suggests this problem dates back to 2007 or so but it is now more prevalent than ever.
    Thanks.

  • TS1363 My iPhone 5S will backup to both my PC and cloud, it says it's synching, but new music I've put in to iTunes doesn't transfer over. I ran diagnostics and it says it doesn't see the device. Never had a problem before...

My iPhone 5s will backup to both my PC and cloud, it then says it's syncing, but new music that I put in to iTunes doesn't transfer over to the phone.

It depends on the iPod shuffle model...  Assuming your shuffle is the 4th gen (or 3rd gen) model, do you use automatic syncing or the manual method (drag and drop song on iPod in iTunes)?
This document shows the four shuffle models, and provides general info about loading content on shuffles

  • TV Shows and Music purchased through iTunes doesn't work on my iPhone

When I play some of the music and tv shows purchased through iTunes on my iPhone, it would play for around 30 seconds for music and anywhere from 5-20 min for the shows, and then either go to the next song, or stop playing the video for no reason.
It seems to be a specific spot which "crashes" the song, because say the song or video stops at 2:31, I can seek to "2:33", and the song/video would play normally, and not crash.
    What's the reason for this?

Contact Apple and report a problem via your *purchase history*. Either from the iTunes store, or the email receipt they send.
Also you might have more luck in the iPhone forums:

  • Movie purchased on iTunes doesn't show up on Apple TV. Any ideas why?

    Hi,
I just paid to rent a movie from iTunes on my Macbook. Switched on AppleTV to sit and watch it, and it doesn't show up in my Purchased area in movies.
Tried turning "home sharing" off, then back on again to reset it.
Tried logging out of my account, into my wife's, then back to mine hoping that would 'refresh' it.
    Still nothing.
    Am I doing something wrong.
P.S. The reason I didn't rent it thru AppleTV is that it was trying to charge it to my credit card, yet I have credit in my iTunes account and want to use that instead (hence why I did it thru iTunes on my macbook instead)

You rented the movie, you didn't purchase it.
Assuming you have now let it fully download to your computer, look under the computers section on the Apple TV.

  • HT201272 Dowloading past purchases from iTunes doesn't work in România and still no movies, maps and more..

If u buy something from iTunes like a song or 100 songs and u lose them, let's say u're phone was replaced by waranty. U can see that u purchased songs but u cannot redownload them, not in România i guess ..at least u can redownload apps

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of all of your content.
If you fail to do this, then it is your own fault that you lose your content.

  • I have the iCloud in my iPod touch and macbook pro but how come the music i purchased from iTunes doesn't appear in my other device?

i upgraded my macbook pro with the new Mac OS Lion and downloaded the IOS 5 with the icloud, then did the same with my ipod touch.  So when I purchased a song from itunes using my ipod touch, how come it didn't appear in my laptop?

Did you restore the iPod using this iTunes library/computer?
Make sure that yo have the right boxes checked to sync the media
iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • Itunes doesn't transfer all of my purchased music/tv shows/ music videos.

  • Itunes doesn't transfer bought apps

    ok, i'm on 10.10.3 and itunes 12.1.2
I bought a flashcard app a while ago, and when I wanted to update, and sync I get a msg saying that the ipad mini couldn't be synced, cause the computer isn't authorized anymore for the bought items. Adding I have to authorize this computer.
So I did from the menu, I'm getting : this computer is one of five autorized.
But I'm still getting the same error msg when syncing, even when relaunching itunes and rebooting...
I don't remember whether I bought the app with another apple ID, but I'm quite lost now as how to get the app working...
    Thanks for any help

    Hey heusnie,
The article linked below details how to determine what Apple ID your app was purchased under (substitute 'purchased app' for 'purchased song' in the steps under 'Authorize your purchases with the correct account name').

  • Itunes doesn't transfer videopodcasts

    Hi!
I have a very strange problem:
I'm subscribed to some itunes feeds of audio and video podcasts. Itunes downloads the podcasts regularly, but the ones from a certain date of a certain directory (or feed, if you prefer) aren't transferred to my ipod. For the other directories the aren't any problems. All the podcasts are regularly transfered to ipod.
I've tried manually to select the podcasts i want to be transfered, but it doesn't work at all. It seems like all the podcasts of that directory (from a certain date on) do not exist! But i checked my directory in my pc and they are present!
I tried to reinstall both itunes and the ipod software, without any good result.
    Please help!

Wonderful. Fantastic. Spectacular. Apple doesn't support 5th generation ipods and here there no answers to my problem. I will never buy apple products again. thank you.

    Hi Watunka2,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
What are you trying to accomplish?  Are you trying to move your iTunes library from your PC to your external drive?  Or, are you just copying your music files to your external drive as a backup?  The following articles will explain how:

  • Itunes doesn't transfer all of my music to my ipad.

  • ITunes doesn't transfer all files to IPOD

The audibooks hat it won't add were all downloaded yesterday.

Do you have the right boxes checked to sync them to your iPod:
iTunes 11 for Windows: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad
iTunes 11 for Mac: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad
Did you look in the More section of the Music app?
Have you tried using the Spotlight search> Maybe you just can't find them

  • Itunes doesn't recognize tracks as purchased even though they are in librar

I had to reorganize my library because I had moved stuff around on various external drives and my library wasn't 'finding' all my music, even though it was there. The specifics of what I did are below**, in case you are interested.
Everything worked more or less as expected, except there was no purchased category on the left navigation pane. My purchased music was indeed in my library and playable, but no longer recognized or sortable as "purchased". While some might like this , I wonder what happened and whether/how I can fix it. Please advise.
** Specifically, I had all my music exactly duped on 2 external drives, but for some reason my library only recognized some tracks as being on one or the other drive, and there was no easy way to consolidate, since consolidate library would have resulted in duplicate files on the drive I consolidated to. So, I 'deleted' my library file (moved it to a temp location) and then pointed "add folder to library" to the one external drive I wanted to use. Perhaps this was the wrong way to accomplish what I wanted, but it seemed the easiest!

One remaining problem I have is on the 'date added' ... now that data appears lost.
For all intents and purposes, I believe it is. The information stored in your iTunes Store Account Purchase History is not connected with your iTunes Library information.
where is the info stored when you make changes to tracks/albums in 'Get Info' stored?
Much of it is stored in the song file itself, such as the song name, artist, and album.
First and foremost, the iTunes Library.itl file - which is what iTunes actually references - stores the location of the files on your computer (the Where part of the Get Info tab. Additionally playlists and related information - such as Ratings, Play Counts, Dates Last Played and Dates Added - are stored in it as well.
iTunes doesn't directly use the iTunes Music Library.xml file although if the need arises it can use it to create an .itl file .
But the .xml is not as complete as the .itl. For example, it does not contain Play Counts, Dates Last Played and Dates Added.
Anyways back to what I think you were asking about, in the end you can use a Back-up copy of an iTunes Library.itl file to recreate a Library. And - to a more limited extent - you can use a back-up copy of an iTunes Music Library.xml to do so.
