Urgent: Tracing Owner Info of IMovie

Question: If I make and edit a movie from Imovie, and put it up on the web, as a .mov file, can someone discover my seriel number for my version of imovie, thus potentially finding out my identity? Someone told me that perverts looking at movies on the web are able to find out the imovie seriel number of the imovie that made .mov files on the internet. Is this true?

for sure, ANY upload can be easiely 'traced' via the IP you're using while being online.. these IP# are stored/documented, depending on country you're living in, for quite a while ..
but that is another cup of tea..

Try using Siri and ask "Who's phone is this?" It should give you the name, number, and email address of the owner. Also, you can try swiping to unlock, select Emergency, then see if they have a Medical ID set up. If they do, they may have the name of a contact with a phone number listed.

Try deleting and reinstalling your apps that are playing up. But I would have to agree with above...in the end it's going to be better to start over as a new ipad. Using what someone else has left behind takes away what's great about making an apple product personal...

If the iPad is on IOS 7, you will need the previous owner's Apple ID and Password to:
1. Turn off Find My iPhone
2. Erase device
3. Reactivate device

I'm creating some reports with an ODBC (RDO) connection. When creating them, chosing an existing DB is mandatory. But once finished, I want that reports to work in any DB (of course, with the same ODBC DNS name) of our customers. And the problem is that design DB info is attached to my reports, making them impossible to use with other DB's.When I enter in the "Set Datasource location" of my reports, I see that in the Properties section of my connection there is a Database entry with the name of my dessign DB. I try to delete it manually, but then an error occurs. Also, in all the entries of tables, I've this 5 rows:Table Name: xxxxx (Table name)Table Type: TablesCatalog: yyyyy (Dessign DB's name)Owner: dboOverridden qualified table name: xxxxx (Same as 1.)I know that I only need rows 1,2 and 5, because rows 3 and 4 are filled with information of my dessign DB. ¿Does anyone know how to delete the info from that rows, so my report will work with any DB? Urgent - Problem with info object

Hi All,
I have info object ZH_SONR (not master datatable), I changed the length of the info object from 12 to 10 in the development system. This info object is used in the general remote info cube.
Now my issue is I moved the change from development to acceptance. I moved the info object without deleting the msater data in the development system. due to this transport request failed to move to acceptance sys and also the inof obnject is inactive in the acceptance sys. (How activate info oject directly acceptance syst)
Can anybody suggest me.how to solve this issue. Pleae it very very urgent for me

Hi,
Just to correct you there is no need to move the dependencies of the infoobject esp the cube if they are already present in the acceptance system.
Check the exact error using the log in the transport and you will come to know the error for the transport.There can be other errrors also might be number range interval missing or so. So please check the log in se10 or se09 and see what is the error u are getting for the transport Deleting data in the dev system will not hamper i feel you need to take care of the data in the acceptance system .
Please rethink concern and then proceed.

Updating "owner" info on my iPhone

I noticed as I was looking at an e-mail I sent through my iPhone that when I touched my name it brought up my information (phone #'s address, icon, name, company, etc.)- I guess I input this at some point. However some of this info has changed (i.e. address, etc) and I would like to change it on my phone but cannot figure out how. I figured maybe it would automatically sync the next time I connected my iPhone to my iBook if I updated my Address Book on my computer but I just noticed I have already updated my Address Book. Needless to say, now I just don't know what to do. How do I update the "owner" (I guess you would call it) information on my iPhone? Thanks in advance!

Just edit your own details in the contact list!
Go to the phone section, then contacts, then find your entry and you should see and Edit option in the upper right of the screen.

I had this same problem, and it was erased.
For some really odd reason iPads sometimes retain the last user iTunes account on first visit to the iTunes store.
I am thinking it is actually the iTunes store recognising the iPad, and so 'helping' by showing the last log in settings.
So I would also recommend Erase All Content and Settings to start.
If that was done then what you need to do is log in, or create your own itunes account.
This is in Settings, Store.
create your own iTunes account (or log in with an old one).
Purchase something.
Then (as long as you don't have any app from the last owner on) it should never ask for the old account again.

you have a thin brick. I suspect your iPod was stolen or lost. I would turn it into the police since it is worthless to you if you can't get the previous owner to remove from their account

URGENT HELP IS NEEDED WITH IMOVIE and MY SONY HD CAMERA HDR XR100E

ok heres the situation..
i bought the brand new sony HDR xr100E Video camera and as soon as i connetced it a few weeks back to my Apple Mac IMOVIE opened automatically and i was able to edit the movie, add sound, titles etc.
Now last week there was a IMOVIE Update launched via software update and i downloaded it and now since then my Sony Cameara does not work with IMOVIE as imovie does not recognise it any more.
when ever you go to the option to import from cameara it does not find the camera but instead it opens the I sight Camera on the Macbook.
i have uninstalled the operating system, reinstalled, i have uninstalled the imovie application, reinstalled and still nothing.
Can some one , anyone please help me ASAP im desperate.. ow and PS has anyone else exeprienced this same issue since the Upgrade?

Thanks. What we will be using it for is mainly videoing children and family and we would like the 1080 HD but not necessarily hooked on the tape system. A hydrid might be something... like the BD and HDD. I found the Sony autofocus a bit slow at times which we would like to improve and we would like to have something that easily allow some pre-editing before getting to the FCE (I mean deleting unwanted clips etc). Also preferably not too large and heavy...

Consider it a lesson learned. The iPad was probably stolen and you got scammed. Never buy an iPad without starting the iPad, check Find My Phone, and ask the seller to turn it off before you accept the device.

I have made an Imovie on my Macbook Air. I need to put it onto a disk so that I can play it in a DVD player but I am unable to do this because I do not have a disk slot in my computer! I have exported the Imovie and I put it onto a USB. I put the USB into my other computer which is not Apple. It opened fine and it could play the movie but with a different program. I burnt the movie onto a disk and put it in the TV. The first time it said loading/reading and then it just said stop without playing or anything! I tried another time but this time I put the movie into another format on the USB, but once again I had no luck! It read the dvd then a message popped us saying " unable to play this disk!". PLEASE HELP SOON! I NEED THIS DONE BY THIS AFTERNOON! HELP!

This is a problem - that's outside iDVD forum and even Apple too.
You need to find a person with know how on PC/Windows computers.
I would in iMovie
• Export - Share to QuickTime - and as .mpeg4 / here select .H264 and a high quality matching the material You used. And in frame rate (frames per second) as the movie project
• I would import this movie file into JES_Deinterlacer (free from Internet) - to convert frame rate to what You need e.g. USA = NTSC = 29.97 frames per second ot EU = PAL = 25 fps
(as this does it so much better than to let iMovie or iDVD do this conversion (result would then be Very Bad))
• then move the file on a DOS / FAT32 formatted USB-memory ( LIMIT is 4Gb - if the file is 4Gb or larger - it has to be cut up in smaller files first ! - Else it wouldn't work)
• Move it to a Window / PC computer - and from here find a friend that know
- What DVD authoring program You need to use
- How You do this
Why ?
DVDs are in at least two flavors
- Data-DVD's - as can be made by storing data / files onto a DVD (icon) on Desktop/Finder on a Mac
(it can store movies - BUT NO DVD-player can playback it)
- Video-DVD's - as commercial movie-DVDs - compressed and structured in the right way - and can be played on any standard DVD-player
to get this to work even better I would do
• Use Verbatim DVDs - MeMorex, NoName etc. cheap brands
- usually do not work - to little organic dye in them
• DVD-R - plays on more and even older DVD-players
(DVD+R on newer ones - DVD+/-RW I NEVER USE as they rarely works)
• SL-DVDs - usually works better
• IMPORTANT ! - I always set down burn speed to x2 max x4
as this reduces the amount of BURN ERRORS !
• I run a Cleaning DVD (no liquid but the brush ones) from time to time.
