Urgent: Transport Failure

Hi ,
In SE10 i have sucessfully transported the Workbench task. but while transporting the Workbench request i am getting this error " Test call of transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0212" .
   I have done the check also for the request and it shows no error
   Kindly help on solving this issue

The sapnotes 216703 seems to solve your problem.
Solution
Use a newer R3trans. The following versions are available on the service
machines. What is common to all of them is that they are registered with a date
as of 21.04.00 (or later).
1. 45B: This is R3trans version 6.05 (release 45B - 21.04.00 - 23:53:00).
2. 46B: This is R3trans version 6.05 (release 46B - 21.04.00 - 23:53:00).

Transport failure in QAS system after support pack stack 9 upgrade

We have a DEV->QAS>PRD ECC system landscape. Recently we upgraded our DEV, QAS and PRD system to support pack stack 9 (with Kernel level 137). After the upgrade, we got transport failure in QAS where it shows pink colored down arrow which shows unable to open import queue when I click on it under stms import overview. If I put back the old kernel (Level 69), transport works just fine. DEV is the TP domain controller. When I run the RTPTEST in QAS, it show sthe follwing info:
RFC Destination
Destination CALLTP_WindowsNT
tp Path E:\usr\sap\QAS\DVEBMGS02\exe\tp.EXE
tp Executable Size: 10.352.432 bytes
RFC Ping Error when opening an RFC connection

You need to upgrade two component of your kernel tp and R3trans
Also perform an additonal test with new kernel
cd /usr/sap/trans/bin
tp connect <SID> pf=TP_DOMAIN_<SID_DC>.PFL
If you have issue to connect it means there is some issue with tp tool and/or connectivity

Extremely Urgent : Transport of KM Content through ICE Protocol

Hello Friends,
This is really urgent.
I have been transporting XML content in KM folders through ICE protocol.
But of late the problem is that I am able to download the KM foledrs in .zip format in my Desktop but of late when I am trying to upload it in the TEST Server through Content Exchange it gives me a Page cannot be dispalyed error in the Content Exchange Window.
Please help me out. Initially I had problems in downloading contents but now there is problem with uploading.
I need to transport the KM contents to TEST and PRODUCTION servers immediately. If there are any other methods of doing the same do tell me.

URGENT: TRANSPORTING APPRAISAL TEMPLATE

Dear Friends,
I had created an appraisal template in my SandBox development client.
I then downloaded it and then uploaded it in the Golden Masters Client.
I also created a transport request at the time of saving the template in Golden Masters.
In my Testing client, I used SCC1 to transport the template and other appraisal settings from Golden Masters to the testing client.
Now, when I execute Tcode: APPCREATE in my testing client, the systems returns a message "No template found".
What might be the problem?
How can I solve it?
Please help, its urgent!!!

For transporting from one server to another server dont use scc1 use se09,se10 for using transport request and then try yaar definetely you will get i think so you are mirroring from one client to one client you are not transporting.

While transporting flat file data source is it required to transport first in a separate request or everything can go in 1 request.

In this case it can go in one request as no replication is needed. But for other datasources, you need to send the datasources first in a separate request and then replicate the datasource in BW before you send the BW changes.

Urgent Transport Question

I have already transported a few cubes, DSO's and info objects from dev to QA system in finance. I have to do the transports for HR. I have a few infoobjects in HR which are there in finance too (like 0country, etc) and which have already been transported during FI transports. What should i do, shud i deselect these info objects when i create request in transport connect or can i transport them too. If i transport them, will there be a conflict.

Don't panic first, There is no need of deselect infoobjects when creating request in RSA1. And if you transport them also there will be no conflict, just remind you that there are Five grouping options are available while transport
Only necessary objects
In data flow before
In data flow afterwards
In data flow before and afterwards
Save for system copy
Example:
If you choose collection mode In data flow before and
afterward, you probably will collect at the InfoProvider level
(Cube or ODS)
If you choose Only necessary objects, you probably will
collect at an InfoObject level
Its always best to choose In data flow before and
afterward,

Create two transport requests -
TR1) Collect the InfoObjects (If newly creted or activated from the Business Content), InfoProviders and the Queries if created.
TR2) Collect the Datasource, Infopackages, Transfer Rules, InfoSources, Update Rules, Transformations and DTPs
Transport TR1 followed by TR2.

Function group - Transport Failure

Hi,
We are importing the Fucntional Group into the quality systems. The import always fails because the transport is failing to import all the includes of the Function group. We can individually import the includes but this is not the solution in long run...
Do any of you had this issues????

Do one thing. Go to SE80.Give the function group. On pressing enter you will get all the function mudules/includes in the group. Select the function group and do a right click. You wil get the option to transport in the resulting list. Save all the changes in the transport and transport it to QF1. I hope it works for you.

(Urgent)Transports of Process Chains

I have transported the process chain to Quality.
In Development we tested and it worked fine.
But in Quality it failed saying "no variant found for a process compression".
Help me out.

Check out whether all the objects included in the process chain are also transported to Quality server.
The error might have occured becuase the corresponding object of a process in the process chain might not be active or missing in the quaality system.

Urgent: Transport Connection Conversion: Wrong Setting : How to correct

Hi Friends In our BI Ssystem somebody have wrongly put the Settings in Transport Connect -- "Conversion Button" The entry as DS4CLNT200 (Development BI System ---QS4CLNT200 (Quality BI System))
Which should never be the case . It should always be DE4CLNT200 Development ECC System - QE4CLNT200 Quality ECC System.
Please help me how to resolve this I just want to delete it but when i try deleting it gives error that entry not found in DE4CLNT200 . I guess it is already assigned now.
please help me , will really appreciate it .how to delete this.

Transport failure

Hi Experts,
I haven't worked yet in BW 7 and I am posed with a problem I haven't encontered in the past.
I'm trying to transport from the DEV sys to the QA sys and I keep getting the same result, the transport fails with RC=8 and the reason I get is "Source system xxx does not exist", the log refers me to the table "RSLOGSYSMAP" that should contain the mapping fron the R/3 DEV to R/3 QA. The mapping is maintained but the transport is not working.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Try replicating your Datasource in the QA system and then load the request once again.and also see if the DS in r/3 for Dev and the DS in r/3 for quality is same if it isnt same try replication and still if they dont get matched then you need to move the changes done.

Transport failure due to reason Compounded character produced totall lenght

Hi All,
I did transport from DEV to EBP of one info object CCHIUSRAM.
But the transport failed due to reason that "Compound with char CCHISRAM producess total length of 77 where max length allowed is 60".
Did a check:
Lenght of the CCHIUSRAM object is 1.
There are three charcteristcis which are compunded with this info object.
Each one has lenght of 4,32,12.
So total lenght of that CCHIUSRAM object is 49.
These compunded info object doesnot have any other compunding character in it.
SO total lenght of the CCHIUSRAM object is 49 but don't know how it is showing 77 and due to which transport is failing.
Kindly guide points will be assigned.

Could you reactivate all your compounding charecteristics and the charecteristics and check once.
I think the infoobjects undergone changes and interrelated tables are not consistenly updated and if you reactivate it may solve

BW InfoProviders Transport Failure

Hi Gurus,
We have a scenario.
We transported couple of Infocube, MultiProviders to Production system.
The transport request failed with some error messages, but when we checked the status of the Infoproviders in production everything is active.
We also ran reports on those Infoproviders and they ran perfectly fine.
I am not sure why the transport request failed. Does anyone faced this kind of scenraio.
The error message said:

Yes we did made some changes (Only addition of fields and no deletion).
While adding any field in the cube we need not delete the data in the Cubes in Production. It is applicable only when we delete any Characteristics. Am I right?
Moreover if it is related to what you mentioned then should'nt it just fail and no objects in the request should be moved to Production?
The problem is that all the objects moved to Production and are activated. It is just the request which is failed and we are not sure whether it will create any problems in future.

SDA transport failure

Hi All,
Currently we are using nwdi 7.02 with CTS configured for our PO development.
When we are trying to create a SDA transport using the export service the export is succesfull. When trying to import the transport request we are getting the below error.
DIImport_InvalidFileContentException : file xxx.sda is not valid.
RC 12 .
Kindly let me know incase if any one had faced a similar issue .
