Urgent:Unable to view the root organisational unit created in the PPOCE

Hi Experts,
I have created a root organisational unit using the Tcode PPOCE.But I am unable to view the same in the selection area using the Structure search.It is appearing in the search term area but not in structure search.
Please help it is very urgent

Try Clicking on 'Unrelated Objects' in the PPOCE screen. It should show your root org unit. I think you have just created the root org unit without the complete structure.

I have searched to forum for similar issues, but none seem to apply to the errors I get in the CDS log.
When try-ing to view the Orgchart, in the Orgchart Console I get the following message "Cannot find the root of your orgchart. The orgchart box may have been deleted or incorrectly specified."

Hi Spike,
There could be a number of reasons why the PositionEmpHierarchy table has not been created. My advice is to run an extract and then run each line of your join statements in your DB. This will highlight where the problem lies.

Have a customer who advises as per the discussion title :-

It has worked fine up until the upgrade to Windows 7
Customer advises colleagues can connect and project OK at another site, using Win7 laptop, however that site uses CTS3010 and CTS1000 and, as yet, it is unconfirmed which they used to test on
I could raise a case with TAC but wondered if anyone knows of any issue with Windows 7 and the CTS1300

I've had issues with Win7 laptops before, but it all depends on the model of the laptop, and what it's display is capable of, and whether the end user is using it in desktop extension / duplication / remote only mode, etc.
In most cases, switching it to the 2nd screen only mode fixes the issue, and worst case, rebooting it while it's set this way, and it's connected, fixes the problem.
So, from my expereince, it's pretty well always a problem wtth the laptop/user, and very rarely (if ever) a problem with the TelePresence device.

Issues with the SQL wrapper scripts created with the DB adapter

We have the wrapper sql scripts created with the DB adapter configurations which are being used to invoke the stored procedures.
To give you a background on the wrapper sql scripts-The Adapter Configuration wizard generates a wrapper API when a PL/SQL API has arguments of data types, such as PL/SQL Boolean, PL/SQL Table, or PL/SQL Record.
These two SQL files are saved in the same directory where the WSDL and XSD files are stored, and are available in the Project view.
The issue we are facing now is that whenever the associated package or the procedure structure undergoes a change we see an error as given below:
An unhandled exception has been thrown in the ESB system. In such cases we need to either execute the wrapper scripts again or refresh the connection pool in case the wrapper sql scripts for that procedure are not available.
In some cases we see that the first instance errors out.However the second request and the subsequent requests after that goes through successfully.
Please do let me know if anyone has faced such issues before.
Any inputs in this regard would be of great help.

I stumbled on a link in the oracle forum which says that the "create or replace package XXX" at the start of the PL/SQL procedure when run seems to intermittently cause the ORA-04068: existing state of packages has been discarded problem.
As per the solution suggested an “alter package XXX compile" can be executed after the changes are made and then we would no longer get the error in BPEL/ESB and dont have to bounce the server too.

Here's a Mac World article that may help. Still not perfect but will help transfer edited photos. If done in groups you can re-create the Albums on the Mac.

Basically the process requires "Sharing to iTunes" through the iPad's app then syncing with iTunes. The shared photos will be found in the File Sharing section of the Apps tab of it's sync settings, not the Photos syncing tab.
The other method is to save your edited photos to Camera Roll and import through iPhoto on the Mac or Photo Stream. Once again you'll need to do it in groups to save your Albums then recreate them on the Mac.
I should also mention I have yet to use iPhoto on the iPad and there could very well be a better method out there. I have been researching for the best work flow to copy photos from my iPad which will be copied to the iPad with the camera connection kit, organized and edited on the iPad then copied in that state to my Mac once I get home. I like the idea behind Photo Journals while traveling and was disappointed to find they can not be saved, backed up or viewed through iPhoto on the Mac. I'm sure there are easier work flows but this is probably close to the route I will be taking.
Any other input?

I just got back from the Apple Store for the second visit with the Mac Genius to try to resolve the problem.
First visit we trashed the iMovie 11 application and reinstalled iMovie and ran a software update. Upon relaunching we were pleased that all projects and events ran perfectly from both the HD and the Drobo.
After lugging my 27" iMac back home and restarting it the same problem appeared. I returned to the Apple store for a second visit. This time I left the iMac at the store overnight. The apple service guys were able to duplicate the problem and wiped my hard drive. There appears to be a bug with iMovie 11 (not confirmed) and an elevated report was submitted to Apple engineers.
I am leaving my "old" projects and events on the external drive unless I need to import them. I am not going to restore from back up and will use a "clean" version of iMovie11. No guarantees the problem won't come back. This issue consumed a TON of my time.... hopefully Apple can fix iMove11.

URGENT: Unable to view Bill

Hello, I have been trying to view my bill online for the last four days. Every time I log in and go to My Verizon > View Bill, I get the following message: "We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience." I have tried on three different browsers on four different devices. I have also cleared cache on all of them. I am starting to think that this is issue is no longer my problem but Verizon's problem. I have systematically gone through step by step to make sure that there was not a problem on my end. To try to fix this, I went to the online chat support. They were unable to send me my bill and sent a ticket which I still have not recieved email confirmation for (three days ago). I then tried calling and played ping-pong between the e-support and billing-support. Neither department knew whose responsibility this was. The billing department was also unable to simply email me a .pdf version of my bill. I have tried to be patient and to fix this issue in multiple different ways and to seek help via phone and chat, I am now out of options. My entire life is being held up by not having my bill because I need to prove my residency at my apratment and the internet bill is the only utility bill that is under my name. Can Verizon please look into my account, I guarantee there is some sort of permission issue or something that is not allowing me to see my bill. I have done a lot of searching online and I don't seem to be the only person suffering from this. If I do not get word back soon, I will be forced to cancel my service with Verizon because I absolutely need to prove my residency for an insurance policy at work and there is a hard deadline that is rapdily approaching. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". Unable to view bill (or do anything, really, on the business website)

I appear to be unable to view my bill. If I go to
https://business.verizon.com/
Then click on "Go to my business", then type in my username and password, it sends me to the "Application Dashboard".
Then, under Support, I click on "Pay my bill" and it asks me to login a second time. (??) If I do that, it sends me back to the Application Dashboard. A loop of death and nowhere a bill to be seen.
Any help?

I've had the same problem for over six months.
Promises of call backs and emails, assurances that there's a IT ticket that will resolve it...
Is Verizon really a technology company? Or would it be a better idea for them to stick with copper and leave the technology to cable? Or even to the power company. At this point I don't care which one. I never have a problem paying my cable bill or utility bill. Their websites always seem to work just fine.

use PPOME transaction. If I want to do this in ABAP level I use the function module RH_RELATION_WRITE.
I would like to know, is there any BAPI returning the affected organizational unit to a given user?

Any business object for Organisation Unit Create

is there any business object for Organisation Unit Creation. BUS0018 is available but there it is not defined. basically on saving the Organisation Unit in PP01 Transaction, a workflow should be triggered to send a mail to the Requestor intimating him that the org unit has been created.

Did you check SWEHR2 to see if there are any clues there? I found object PDOTYPE_O there. But it triggers an event for BOR BUS1221. So depending on your needs you could use one of these maybe. The problem is PDOTYPE_O doesn't have any events, so you would need to create a subtype and delegate it. In the subtype you could create your own events which you could call using SWEHR3.

SSDT Schema Compare puts objects in the root of project instead of the correct schema

Since last week I encountered a problem when synchronizing my database project with a database.
When I try to sync new objects (tables / sp's / views) the *.sql scripts are put in the root of my project directory instead of the directory with corresponding schema (schema folder already exists!). Every time after I do a sync I have to manually put all
the scripts in the right folders.
I have a SQL Server 2014 Project in VS 2013 (update 4).
Version 12.0.31101.00
SSDT 12.0.41025.0
.NET Framework 4.5.50938
I haven't had a VS update since the last release in November. Can this be caused by Windows Updates?

I think this is "one of those things".
When you initially create a project by importing objects from an existing database you have a couple of options for project layout; schema/object type or object type only.
When adding new objects, I don't think there's any way to tell SSDT where in the project you want these located.
However, it is possible to drag and drop objects from the SQL Server Object Explorer into folders in solution explorer - with no guarantees that this won't break your build in the event that the "dragged in" object references other objects not
present in the project. As far as I'm aware, this capability is not documented anywhere!
You might want to think about your wider workflow; would it not be easier to create objects directly in the project rather than creating in SSMS (for example) and subsequently importing?
