[URGENT] Unavaliable BBM on Blackberry Q5/Anne Nwakama/Nigeria

My BBM is not working, when i tried going through the BB Application World...It is showing me that BBM is unavaliable for this device, I have switched it off and on severally but it is still the same,Please kindly assist me in solving this, most of my business discussions are done on BBM. kindly advise me on what to do,

Can't set up BBM - "no blackberry data"

Sorry, it didn't seem to have a spot for any details. I got a new Leap yesterday, having had a Z10 before that. They did the conversion of all my data in the Bell Store using my blackberry ID. Everything seems to have gone fine, except when I got home I tried to set up my BBM, and as soon as I hit setup, I get the message: No blackberry data. BBM is unable to connect to the server. Please try again later. I have done previous suggestion posts, and retorted the phone, I have turned it to airplane mode and waited then turned it back on,etc. I have tried it over our WIFI and over my cellular network. It worked completely fine on my Z10. I also can't connect to Blackbery Protect, exact same error message. Please help, any assistance would be greatly appreciated! It should be noted that I do NOT have the blackberry symbol in the top right corner, by the carrier strength.

FYI - just thought I'd post the ultimate resolution on this issue.I know when it happened to me, I searched this forum (and the crackbery forum) and could never find an actual solution and if you read this thread, it seems as if it was also unresolved. However, it ulimately resolved itself - about 24 hours later, I received texts from Bell (my carrier) that they had changed my plan/contract, and then suddenly the "blackberry" dots appeared on the top screen beside the Wifi signal, and suddenly I was able to set up BBM and Blackberry Protect.So....it appears that while my device was up and running, and I did have service (cellular, without wifi could still access the browser, get emails, etc.), my carrier hadn't officially "transferred" over my phone ownership I guess, and once they processed it, all worked!So, if it hpapens to others....be patient, and/or call/confirm with your carrier that they had indeed transferred it over. I thought that was covered since I did it all in the carrier's actual store, but I guess they still had to do something behind the scenes.

When I click on invite contact and i scan the barcode and it is pending it never recieves to the other person and when they do it to me, it never gets to me! Do i need to update it for £5????? Please help! Thanks

Do you have a proper active data plan with your carrier? It is required in order for BBM to function correctly. Check out why contacts request remain in Pending state in BlackBerry Messenger http://bbry.lv/dz6zah

Bbm and blackberry app world

Hi, I am wondering if you can delete and reinstall bbm without using the main button as my blackberry button doesn't work, my bbm has disappeared, I cannot find it anywhere but my app world says its installed? Also, my app world needs updating but it will not let me .. Help please.

Without the use of the BB Key, there are way too many things that you won't be able to do (including what you request). I recommend you first get that fixed, then worry about other things.

Bbm for blackberry smartphone (bold9900)

I wanted to download bbm7 to my blackberry smartphone so I took the steps from youtube after all the steps they asked me to restart my phone,after restarting my bbm got deleted.I tried downloading it from the blackberryappstore ,what it says is" bbm is not available for this device" and I really need bbm to communicate, I hope you find me solution as soon as possible. hi have a blackberry curve now for a month and can't get my bbm to work called up vodafone 4 times now and everything they have told me to do has not worked and getting fed up now so they gave me this address for help. can someone plz plz plz help me. I can't accept requests and sent requests and friends haven't recieved them. thank you

Is it just BBM you are having issues with? Or are other push functions like email etc not working

i have recently aquired a blackberry curve 9300 and when i added some friends on bbm they stay in the pending box and it says in brackets waiting for authorisation can you please help me as i have spoke to other people who have blackberrys and they say that they havent had this before

Have you spoken with the friends you are trying to add to see if they have received your request? If they have not accepted your request, they will remain as pending in your BBM list.

BBM and Blackberry ID

Hi all,
I need some help.
I lost my BB9860 that was running on OS 7.1, then i did a secutity wipe on the blackberry protect website.
I found the phone later the same day, but when i logged into BBM using my BBID none of my contacts wrere there. They all dissapeard. Note i was using OS 7 when the phone was lost and wiped.
Please help

Which version of BBM are you using before you wiped your device via BlackBerry Protect ?
If you are having BBM7 then once you login with your BlackBerry ID your Contacts will be restored back , because this newer version of BBM does not allow local backup but contacts are stored with our BlackBerry ID.
But if you were having previous version then those version allow local backup like backup on a media card or backup using any email address. But if you were doing backup on a media card then I fear your contact list also wipe when you initiated a wipe on your device via BlackBerry Protect .Check this Knowledge Base and see if that help :

URGENT HELP REQUIRED FOR BLACKBERRY MESSENGER ON CURVE 8320

Can anyone out there please help me. I have two invitations to join Blackberry Messenger that tells me where to go and download the software. When I try to download the 4.0 and 4.1 latest software, I get the error message that my phone is not able to do so.
I also tried to download via the Internet and Iget the same error message, can anyone help as I am in love with my smartphone and my wife is jealous that I give the phone more attention than she ever got.
Also can I type mails or send SMS through the Roxio desktop Interface? I do that easily with my Nokia PC Suite but it seems impossible with my BlackBerry.
Please help.

There is no text option in Roxio media manager, it's sole function is to manage your media between PC and BB.
Do you have a data services Package with your carrier, as well as a text package?

Getting BBM on Blackberry 8707

I was just wondering what the steps were in order to obtain blackberry messenger on my blackberry model, 8707v. I've been trying to figure it out myself but I'm not quite sure how to start. I would really appreciate any kind of feedback! I'm dying to be able to use this feature.

BBM on Blackberry

Hello All,
I have contracted Blackberry Curve 8520 and I had to replace my phone with the company. I backed up the old mobile on the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and I want to just add all my BLackBerry Messenger Contacts onto my new phone with out restoring the settings, address book, messages, SMS messages etc as well.
I know can go onto restore and load up back up from old mobile but what ones do I select on the list (don't want back all up) to just back up blackberry contacts ?
