I've tried that. When I go to outlook express, then to tools, options, then connections tab, it says "Outlook shares your connections with Internet Explorer, click the change button to modify these settings", but I don't see a way to do that. It just offers the option of changing settings for connecting to the internet, not which browser.

How could I use FAVOURITES imported from Internet Explorer

I use Google Chrome. However I get adverts, which obstruct my work. As I cannot get rid of these adverts, I want to try Mozilla Firefox. I have imported favorites from Internet Explorer but I do not know how to use them. I do not see any button or icon for this purpose. I should be grateful for your help.

Web page have ads, and there are add-ons to suppress some of those if you find them troublesome.
Bad add-ons can inject additional ads into pages. Sometimes some "freeware" you install can include these ad injectors which then infect all of your browsers. If you suspect anything along those lines, here's my suggested procedure for tracking down and cleaning out bad add-ons. Sorry for the length -- it's not as bad as it sounds:
(1) Open the Windows '''Control Panel''', Uninstall a Program. After the list loads, click the "Installed on" column heading to group the infections, I mean, additions, by date. This can help in smoking out undisclosed bundle items that snuck in with some software you agreed to install. Take out as much trash as possible here.
(2) Open Firefox's '''Add-ons page''' using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click '''Plugins'''. Set nonessential and unrecognized plugins to "Never Activate".
In the left column, click '''Extensions'''. Then, if in doubt, disable (or Remove, if possible) unrecognized and unwanted extensions.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Any improvement?
(3) You can search for remaining issues with the '''scanning/cleaning tools''' listed in our support article: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]]. These on-demand scanners are free and take considerable time to run. If they finish quickly and especially if they require payment, you may have a serious infection. Using Flash Files on Internet Explorer

I have created a web site in Flash MX2004. My .swf files are

works great on Safari, Mozilla, Firefox, but none of the buttons,

download patch/fix for Dreamweaver, or for Flash. There is one for
each program, and it fixes the issue you are describing.

Can I have the text on web pages magnified to 125% or 150% as I used to do in Internet Explorer ?

As I recall, there was a drop down menu where you could choose to increase the size of the print on web pages to 125% or 150% of its standard size when using Internet Explorer. Where is this option in Firefox 4 ?

The font in my Facebook apps is real small and I can't do what I need to..Its only when using Firefox and not Internet Explorer...Help...

A couple days ago the font in the apps I am playing like Farmville, Puzzled Hearts and Cafe World went small and doesn't show the whole page either. Its not like that in Internet Explorer so that tells me its either a Facebook or Firefox problem. The Home page is the right size font I use. It's just so strange...

Use OS language for Internet Explorer 11

Hi!
I'm using MDT 2012 Update 1 to build a Windows 7 image and I want to add Internet Explorer 11, the problem is I want it to take the language of the OS.
It is installed by using WSUS during the task sequence and I added the language pack in it but it keeps IE in English. Is there a way for that?

Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.
Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
Click the General tab, and then click Languages.
In the Language Preference dialog box, click Add.
In the Add Language dialog box, select a language from the list, and then click OK.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have added all of the languages you want to use.
Click OK twice.

Certain site forms cannot be used in Firefox unless Internet Explorer is running in background

Sites such as Wells Fargos Online Banking BillPay system, the British Thetre Company's website http://www.digitaltheatre.com.
In the later, I can not use the controls to change currency, for example. If I run IE, then close it, I can see the drop-down arrow, but can't change anything, I'm just clicking text.
I don't surf the internet more. But, there HAVE to be other sites out there.
In the case of Wells Fargo, they said they only support 3.X to 6.X. Isn't that a little weird. The major overhall came before 6.

Sorry to say that Apple isn't the best choice in that department as they are primarily a consumer products company, they don't cater to business needs with their offerings.

Apple has discontinued their X-Server and now OS X server is really just a hobbyist pursuit, not a serious business solution. The Mac Pro hasn't been updated in ages.

All I can suggest is evaluate your local offerings from many of those type local server business services in you area and go from there. You'll likely be a mixed shop for quite some time or perhaps forever as some won't give up Windows like some won't give up their Mac's.
Also Mac's are not very cost effective anymore, Apple changes the operating system annually which require new software/paid upgrades, Windows 7 will last another decade and offer desktop models that parts can be exchangesd or replaced in house, unlike Mac's which one has to bring it in and AppleCare expires in three years.
So buisnesss and profit speaking Windows is pretty good, but if your like Google who has a big bank account then replacing Mac's every couple of years is nothing.

Could you please tell me the type of report you were trying execute? Is it ERP or BW? And ALV or non-ALV?
We are supporting PDF report output type only for BW reports and for ERP non-AVL reports. For other types PDF format is not supported.
If you configure PDF for other report types then you will get report output in PDF file in SharePoint server, but you will face above error message while opening the file.

Client authentication in JSSE using personal keystore in Internet Explorer

We are writing a standalone Java application that is required to use SSL for socket communucation. It is expected to read the SSL certificates from IE keystore in windows. We haven't got the client authentication to work when client certificate is installed in IE. It appears that there is some compatibility issue between the security implementation in JSSE and IE. We get the handshake error as the SSL encryption didn't work.
Has anyone else seen this issue and is there is a fix or workaround available? We can't use Java keystore so unfortunately that option is out.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Have W7 64bit, Firefox 7.01 and Flash Player 11 but unable to play videos in BBC News channel although can use BBCi and Win Internet Explorer works with both.

Have looked at Flash Settings but not able to find solution. Tried reverting to Firefox v.6.02 but this did not resolve the problem.
