Urgently require an 'Approver Report'

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a standard SAP report I can run that would enable me to identify specific projects for a region (only US for instance), I would also then want to set specific parameters in the search to include such things as only SAP Projects that currently have a Pre-Sales component, and who is the L2 Approver.

Hi,
Possibility of this reports depends on the customization that has gone in.
For instance, if different project profiles and project types are configured, they could be very handy in reporting also, apart from other core issues.
Further, I am not sure whether you are aware of the dynamic selection feature avaialble in most of the PS reports such as :
CN43,CN41,CN52 etc.
Dynamic selection is possible using different criteria like masterdata definition, Org unit definition, Data on Dates definition, Master data WBS element, Organization unit WBSE, User defined fields and so on. Moreover, you can add to the criteria of dynamic selection to meet your specific reporting requirements.
Dynamic selection icon can be viewed at the top tools bar, 4 th from left , immediately after the get variant icon.

Urgent requirment on PAYMENT Program

Hi,
I have a very Urgent requirement about Payments to customer using Payment program, I need to pay to customer for a over payment (he initially paid on invoice) now I need to pay back that type of customers, How it is done in Sap, if that can be done in using f110, if yes how it will differentiate the over payment-open item (here I dont want to pay credit notes automatically)
And one more question is if I need to list all the over payments in a forms and get it approved/ validated and trigger the payment run

Hi Sireesha
Just enter the customer number(s) in the parameters of the payment program (F110). You can further define other selections such as document number(s) in the "Free Selections" tab.
You are able to include/exclude documents in the payment proposal log by blocking/unblocking individual lines (normal F110 functionality).

U got to store not only the fields also the Labels in the database to view in Thai. Since the DB can refer the NLS

          > Authorization object S_DEVELOP
    Programs that are not assigned to an authorization group are not
    protected against display and execution.
    Security-related programs should, therefore, always be assigned to an
    authorization group.
    Report RSCSAUTH can also be used to assign programs to authorization
    groups. This report is documented in detail.
and for alv while designing the menu for it u can assign any ICON to your button while designing it there is option for that

I did the 9.3.1 REPORTING ANANLYSIS installation and then applied 9.3.3 patches,
when i am trying to use reports in workspace it is throwing the below error:
Required application module reporting.HRRunDlg is not configured. Please contact your administrator.
I tried restaring and rebooting ,killing java.exe services, still it givng the error, it is bit urgent,
Can some one please respond on this?

That usually means either FR is not running or the Web Server is having trouble connecting.
Do either of these links work:
Direct

Through web server:
http://websvr:19000/hr/modules/com/hyperion/reporting/web/common/HRCore.js
If neither work - then check the FR logs
If 8200 works and not 19000 you might try reconfiguring your web server using the config utility. And check the web server configuration.

I think that it is something wrong with kernel and graphic drivers but i'm not able to solve it from the beginning of using of Arch by me.
I'm not so sure this issue is software-related only because in my case it seems the laptop screen enters power-saving mode (10-min timeout) on its own without any events logged (as shown by dmesg) so my next thought was OK, I'm going to get rid of this issue disabling the screen power-saving timeout in the BIOS and set it to never power down or something like that and from then on managing power mode manually; ie: when I want to power down I will just use systemctl suspend/hibernate which work fine ... problem is: there are no related options in my BIOS for such timeout.
The only timeouts I have are in /etc/systemd/logind.conf set to 30min (#IdleActionSec) (commented) by default so these are not in effect because the screens goes blank after 10m which is less than the (default) 30m in logind. Maybe setting loggind to 9m (un-commented) to catch the event before the machine-default one ?

How to cancel or finaly close a PO on status requires re-approval, closed.

these PO have changes and require re-approval, yet they are closed and only option available through tools, control "place on hold." I want finally closed them or cancel and am not getting the option to anything.

How does the ftpClient.get("fileName") work? Also, are you running everything in the EventDispatchThread? If your running everything in the EventDispatchThread then ftpClient.get() will need to finish before an event can be handled.
If thats the case, you could use a SwingWorker to do the downloading so that the Event Thread is available to handle the cancel event.

Dynamic Columns requirement in a report

Hi,
I have a requirement in my report:
Report takes Month &Year presentation Variable as a input and result should be dynamic 11 past months as columns in my report.
Eg: If i select September 2011, Report should have 11 coumns which should start from August 2010 till September 2011
If i select August 2011, Report should have 11 coumns which should start from July 2010 till August 2011
Please suggest the optimized way to acheive this result.

This is more simpler...think logically. Suppose, you take current month-yr i.e. Sept 2011, then you want to show data from Aug 10 - Sept 11.
Simply follow these:
- Create a simple report say 'Mid Report' with 2 columns. Change the fx to give something like 1109 for Sept-11 and 1008 for Aug-10
- This will give you 1 record with 2 values 1008 & 1109
- In your main report creata a similar FX for Year-Month and put a filter based on other report. One less than eqaul to 1109 and One more than or equal to 1008. This will give you results for:
1008
1009
1010
1011
1012
1101
1102
1103
1104
1105
1106
1107
1108
1109
This can be utilized to get any trend report

I've just installed HPM 11.1.1.1 (product: ESSBASE/foundation/planning/Financial reporting) and I'm now testing Financial Reporting.
I created a financial report as indicated in http://oraclebizint.wordpress.com/2008/06/07/hyperion-financial-reporting-getting-started
I can run this report in Financial reports (PDF view)
1. But I cannot run the report in HTML (Hyperion Workspace) : error "Required application context reporting is not available"
2. Besides I notice that in Workspace -> explorer the voice File -> Import -> "Financial Reports" is missing.
Maybe something was wrong in installation, but I did it twice .... and Diagnositcs reports no errors.
So, is there some more activity to be done on Workspace/Financial reports so that integration of these two products work correctly ??
(Note: installing on Microsoft windows 2003 server - deploying on Tomcat and IIS6 web server)

This one has frustrated me to no end as well! One would think that when you install FR/WA they would automatically register themselves with Workspace as part of their configuration process (and one would be wrong).
The solution is to go back and run the configuration tool again. The only thing you have to select this time is Foundation Services... Workspace... Configure Web Server, then restart the two Workspace services.
