URL bar is slightly indented to the right.

I've noticed that my address bar is slightly indented to the right and I've done everything to fix it. I've google searched a million different times and it would appear as if no one else has an answer to this problem. My OCD always bothers me whenever I look at it and I'm wondering if this could mean that there are other problems with my browser. Thanks!

This issue can be caused by a fingerprint software plugin (e.g. TrueSuite) in Firefox.
You would either have to remove the plugin from detection by Firefox or possibly enable the currently disabled plugin.

Call bar is now vertical on the right side of screen. How do I get it back on the bottom? I've tried rebooting and changing screens but it won't change. I can't find a setting for that call bar.

This isn't a native setting that I can find Relsea. Did you download an application that maybe has this function? Any luck if you reboot the phone by pulling out the battery?

How can I place a text field not directly on the left of the page but with an indent to the right?

Hi everybody,
I try to create a form in which I want to enter several item under each other
general info        Item 1               Item 2
                         Name 1            Name 2
                        Item 3               Item 4
and so on.
Since it is not possible to insert a table for something like that I would like to enter seperate text fields one underneath the other.
But every new line starts on the left side and I do not see any way to move a text field to the right with an indent so that "item 1", "Name 1" and "item 3" are aligned the same.
Can anybody give me a hint?

Hi,
Insert a blank "Formatted Text" field on the far left, and shrink it down as much as you wish. Then insert your normal text field to the right of that.

How can i get rid of the Google Bar that is located to the right of the "awesome" bar on the navigation toolbar?

this is the Google search window/bar that seems to be automatically placed on the navigation tool bar. since Google is my home page, i don't want it to also appear on the nav bar.

Go to View | Toolbars | Customize. You'll see a panel appear. Drag anything you don't want in there including the Search bar. I don't use it either.
You can drag it back out again if you decide later you want it again.

Laserjet 2600n - has recently produced V-shaped indents along the right hand side of every A4 sheet.

There are two rollers just before the output tray and I think these may be causing the indents, but I can't see any obstructions or foreign objects on them. Can they be forced out of alignment in some way? If so, how can I access them to correct the problem?

How can I have 'Bookmarks' on the left side of the bar (it seems fixed on the right)?

Without any difficulty, I can have the items in the Bookmarks Toolbar in any order I like. However, the Bookmarks Button is on the extreme right and I would like it on the left - how can I move it to the extreme left side?

Go to toolbar customize and change "Show:" to Icons and Text so that you can see the existing/default Bookmarks button, then drag it from its current position over to the far left, than change "Show:" back to Icons only.

My Firefox-Version:
6.0.2 on Windows XP
My Problem:
Since a few weeks (I think since Version 6.x) I experience this problem.
When I click on a link, normally the URL-bar gets updated and shows the address of the new (the current) website.
This doesn´t work now - for some links!
Example:
Surf to times.com.
Then click on an article-link (for example this one: "Opinion »
Op-Ed: Germany’s Mediterranean Envy ).
The link (the new website) opens in the same tab. But in the URL-bar I still see just "times.com". I even don't see "http://" infront of it.
And very important to me: I don't see the complete URL of the article - which should be
"http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/26/opinion/germanys-love-for-greece.html?hp".
That causes many problems with my work. :-/

You can set the pref browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled to false on the about:config page to disable the highlighting of the domain and see the full URL more clearly.
You can set the pref browser.urlbar.trimURLs to false on the about:config page to see the protocol (e.g. http or https).
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold (user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default via the right-click context menu if they are user set
*Preferences can be changed via the right-click context menu: Modify (String or Integer) or Toggle (Boolean)

Whenever I try to open Firefox to any website, or open a new tab, I get a blank tab that will not redirect to a website entered in the URL bar. Help?

I am on an HP pavilion running Windows7, and for the past couple of days, whenever I try to open the FireFox browser, or a new tab, all I get is a blank screen. The URL bar is empty, and gives the prompt: type an address. When I try to type in the address, and hit either the enter button, or the go button on the browser, I get a spinning circle, and then no response.

In the url bar is it possible to autoselect the first search result by pressing enter?

Whenever I use the url bar in firefox, often times the first entry in the bookmarks/history search is the one I want to use. What I want to do is just be able to type 'fb' for instance and just hit enter. It will then redirect me to facebook.com. What I have to do currently is type 'fb' (I have facebook bookmarked as fb) then hit the down arrow, then press enter. If I press enter without hitting the down arrow first, then it does google search for facebook, which is not what I intended. This is kind of cumbersome to me when 'fb' will always make the first entry be facebook due to how I have it bookmarked.

You could bookmark Facebook and add a Keyword (by editing the bookmark the keyword option will become available). You can then simply type the keyword (in this case fb) in your location bar, hit enter and you'll be redirected to the bookmarked site.

How do i make the tabs attach on bottom (the "page") instead of hanging from the top (the URL bar).

Last time i restarted FF, the tabs, which are under the URL bar, are "hanging from" the URL bar, with a space under the tabs before the page starts. I want it attached on bottom, with the space on top of the tabs.
I do not know if this is an option, or from some addon that i am or am not using. Please help me.

I only have one theme, the default. I do not use other toolbars. I started in safe mode, all add-ons disabled.

url bar is gone, along with the google search window, I have tried control click in the header space, along with command click, nothing works.

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

Highlighting from the url bar

This is probably an obscure grievance but as I'm trying to switch from Chrome to Safari one of the issues I have is on Chrome when you'd click the url bar once it'd highlight the entire url to either delete or write over, with Safari you have to triple click to get it all highlighted. Is there a preference to have it one click like Chrome?

No way to be able to just click anywhere on the url? I know about the favicon I just have a real finicky trackpad on the old macbook I use on occasion.

Drop down menu in IE moves to the right

I am using the SPRY in a menu for a client and in IE the drop down elements show to the right. When I view them in any other browser the are fine. I made all changes to the SPRY CSS in a separate CSS file. I have commented out the additional CSS file thinking that might be the problem but the problem persists.
