URL for running forms9i comes out wrong

Hi!
When trying to run a form from my Forms9i Builder the URL that is used looks like this:
http://%%20"http://mojo.intern.sti.no:8888/forms90/f90servlet?form=C:\MortenJ\....... and so on.
This page is not found, because of the first part of the URL: http://%%20"
When I remove this string, the form runs fine.
Why does forms come up with this URL? Any ideas on how to avoid it?

Why do my breadcrumb links come out wrong?

I'm using the snipet function under the window tab in CS6 for breadcrumb links. I'm following directions, and including the correct link and text in the correct order. For some reason, the order comes out wrong. The two >> first, then the text for the current page (which is not a link), then the second link, followed by the first link. I tried to see if the formatting of the hyperlinks was affecting this, but it does not appear so.
I tried writing the code without using the snipet function, and this exact same result still happens.
Please advise with any help if you can.

I just bought a new Ipad Air 128gb w/verizon coverage. I definitely need a all proof case for it like the Lifeproof case I already have for my Ipad 4 w/retina display. Unfortunately I'm hearing Lifeproof hasnt come out with the Air case yet. Can anyone help me locate a company similar that will have that sort of case pls. thanks.

I know Targus has one called Safeport with 3 levels of 'strong, stronger, strongest' but I couldn't find it specifically saying it accommodated the Air on their site. BUt it could be another brand for you to search for.

Prints come out wrong size

I have 32 bit Vista Ultimate, an HP 7410 printer, and Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 with all the updates. When I print a single print, it comes out the size it is supposed to be. However if I use the "Print Multiple Photos" Option using the same pictures, the pictures do not come out the size I select from the menu.
Is anyone else having this problem? Any fixes?

What size you are getting when you are trying to print multiple copies.
Are you using Organizer or Editor for printing...
Did you try resetting preferences?

Broken 2G iPhone.. wait for 3G to come out?

My 2G iPhone was the victim of some water damage about a month ago, the only thing wrong with the phone is that the home screen button does not work, so in order to get from the calendar to the home screen, I have to turn the phone off, I have found some shortcuts between the phone and texting, but it is annoying to have to turn off several times a day, also my computer does not recognize my iPhone any longer. I was waiting to come home from college and recieve my first pay check before paying the $250 for a refurb. Since I have been living this long with a damaged phone, should I just wait it out until July in order to get the 3G model for $199 instead of paying $250 for the refurb? Will this even work? I know my contract will just be extended, but that is fine with me. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. As Terence pointed out we don't know if there is going to be an iLife 10 or if so, how soon. However, in the past the new iLife versions were usually released during the MacWorld Expo in San Francisco. Apple is not participating in it to the extend they have in the past so it's anyones guess if and when that's when they will release a new version. If you can live with the version you currently have until the end of February on the off chance that a new version will be released then wait.
Don't know about iWork.
OR, you could by a new computer which comes with iLife and if a new version is released by the end of February you can get the new version for a mailing fee.

Error in url for running forms

Whenever I try to run a form on the web from Form Builder 9i (Patch 3), it generates a URL like
http://%%20"http://strexler-us.us.oracle.com:8888/forms90/...&RENDER=YES"
including the embedded " marks, etc. The page cannot be accessed unless I delete the first twelve characters and the trailing ".
I suspect this may be happening because over a year ago I installed an Oracle9i R2 database on this machine and specified the character set of the database as UTF-16. I have since uninstalled this database.
I later installed an instance of Oracle9i R2 with NLS_LANG set to AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252, which is what the registry currently shows. This is Home 0.
After installing this instance of the database, I then installed 9iDS R2 and Patch 3 into Home 1, and it also shows NLS_LANG is AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252 in the registry. Yet it tries to quote the url.
I can find nothing in the registry or Forms Preferences, etc. that could control this. Any ideas?

Hi Sam,
This error comes when one has not yet created the working directory. All u need to do is to create a folder e.g. (c:\My_Application) in your root directory. Also make the working directory parameter to point to this in formsweb.cfg file. Save the new module into this folder before running the form.
This, I think will solve your problem.

Bevel and emboss comes out wrong in pdf

I am using bevel and emboss in indesign on objects i created in illustrator and copy/pasted in.
when i export the piece to pdf the bevel and emboss looks wrong. not smooth at all.
how can I fix this?

in overprint preview it looks fine.
well i took off the bevel and emboss and reapplied it with different setting and it looks right for now..

Bleed settings come out wrong when export to PDF

I'm working on a 5x13 door hanger in InDesign with a .125" bleed on all sides. I did the front in Illustrator and brought it into ID and I did the back entirely in ID since it's text heavy.
When I export it to PDF with bleed and crop marks showing, the crop marks show up where the color ends instead of .125" in from the edge of the color.
I keep double checking both the ID and Illustrator documents, and I can't see anything wrong. Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't think what.
Has anyone run into this problem before? Any thoughts on what I might be missing and how to fix it? Maybe ID handles bleeds differently than what I'm used to?

When you export to PDF there is an option to set bleeds in the export dialog or use the document bleeds. Maybe you have them set to 0 in the dialog and haven't checked use document bleeds?

Waiting for Displayable to come out

Well, here's the thing: I have a custom Canvas that receives some input from the user.
There's a function that, when called, sets this Canvas as the current in the Display and returns whatever the user has entered. I would like for that function to wait until the user has ok'ed or cancelled, that is, to wait until the Canvas is no longer the current.
Hard as I tried, I couldn't stop execution at that point. Perhaps I should make the Canvas a thread (Runnable), or run in one?

k_i_shor is right. I just wanted to create a reusable function that only returns after the user has entered. I understand that deepspace's approach is also possible (I don't see the advantage, though).

Colours come out as white when rendering?

Hi everyone,
I'm new to AR and was wondering if someone could help me out with this problem? I've made a composition that uses the "shift channels" effect to get colour aberration for my text. The three colours are of course red, green, and blue. Everything looks fine when I'm editing, but as soon as I render the video (I've tried H.264, Custom RGB, Alpha only etc.), the three colours for my text come out white. This is only a problem for the "colour aberration" portion of the video. It would be great if someone could help me out.

Notice how I'm showing all the pertinent information. You can completely duplicate my comp by just looking at the screen shot.
Seeing that you have blend modes set to ADD it's possible that you have the composition set to Ray-traced rendering.
If so, that would cause the problem because you didn't read the warning that pops up when you enable Ray-traced rendering about blend modes and effects.
I've re-created a comp that works in 3D. It looks like this:
By simply pressing the u key twice I've revealed everything that anyone would need to know about the composition. It makes it very easy to find the problem.
