URL in STS mail (ZTUNGUSKA)

Hi,
I have copied TUNGUSKA to a ZTUNGUSKA bsp page. It works fine, but now, i need to change the start mail URL to get the new one.
Can anyone help me out on this one?

Hi Vlad,
I've already did it (Copy the FMs 'UPS_SEND_NEW_MAIL' and 'UPS_SEND_START_MAIL') and sending the mails by a Z Program. As a matter of fact, I was looking for a standard solution. But I quit.

Suddenly today when I click on url links in Mail or Word the desktop switches to Firefox but not page opens. This changed on both my desktop (iMac) and laptop (Macbook Air). I've never had this happen before. I tried Safari and the url's loaded just fine. Help! - jim

which is plain wrong, because Canon never supported any drivers for Windows Vista or Win 7, not to speak of XP 64bit. (You cannot connect the camera via firewire, without the device drivers!)

URL in outlook mails (Workflow)

Hi Experts,
I am using the extended notification for my customized user decision task to send mails in outlook. There are two outcomes for the user decision task approve and reject and getting two links in the outlook also. Its fine as required.
But the problem is, I am having one URL in the task description of user decision task. I am getting the same link in outlook as a normal text format not hypertext.
It would be great, if you could throw some light on how to get the URL in outlook mail through extended notification of workflow.
PS: I have tested same URL in send mail task and got the mail in outlook as hyperlink format.

I have checked the note 559234 also. I sent the same link to my outlook mail by using the 'send mail task' and got as a link <a href="http://www.google.com">http://www.google.com</a>
If I try to send the same link in the task description of user decision task to my outlook, i am getting the link plain text 'http://www.google.com' not in hypertext format as above.
My question : Is there any way to send the URL in the task decription to outlook mail as hyper text format?
In my task description, i have given the URL in the below format.
&URL_ELEMENT##&
This URL_ELEMENT is a multiline container and value of this variable passed from previous step ' Set container element' as http://www.google.com
Please help on this regard.

URL incomplete in mail

Hi,
The problem am facing is as follows -
I have a URL derived from a login in my WF container. I am sending this URL through the mail.
The WF container shows the complete URL in Workflow log. But the mail shows incomplete URL.
Any idea..whats wrong?

The variable you pass from the workflow container to the email text may possibly be too long? But this question does require more details I think to be answerable.

Font changes when copy and paste url (Safari to Mail)

When copy from iphone 5 (vs 7.1.2-& no I don't want to update yet ) Safari, a URL/web address and paste into MAIL app, the font changes and won't paste in the same format as the email I've been typing. Is there any way to correct this? Also, anything I type after the paste keeps that same "other" format, when I want what I had started email in to stay the same.
I tho't I"d look at some settings and under iphone Accessibiilty I have Larger Text ON and Bold Text chosen, and Reduce Motion ON. Under GENERAL and TEXT SIZE I have it set to 4th choice up. I don't see any MAIL settings re FONT. Would any of these be the cause?

OK, I think I found another way to describe my issue:
When I copy text from a webpage in Safari, some form of "meta-information", or formatting data, is kept, and when I paste into MS Word, the formatting from the webpage is retained. In my default setup of Firefox, this formatting meta-information is not retained, it only copies the plain-text.
So my question is actualy: How do I prevent Safari from retaining formatting data, and only copy the plain-text?
I have been testing some clipboard managers, and have yet to find one that will auto-filter out formatting data from text that I copy, but they can after interaction.
The other, current, method I have been using is to:
1. select and copy the text in Safari
2. paste text into notepad
3. select and copy text from notepad
4. paste de-formatted text into MS Word
Or in Firefox:
1. select and copy the text in Firefox
2. paste text into MS Word (no formatting retained)

How to work with url in receiver mail adapter

hi,
iam trying to implement simple file to mail scenario.
I've got stuck with mail adapter configuration.The transport protocol iam using on receiver end is the SMTP protocol.
i have mentioned the url as smtp://abc.xyz.com:25.Then iam getting an error saying that invalid syntax error.
Is this the correct approach?kindly suggest.

How to edit the URL in the mail that is triggered from Solution Manager 7.1 ?

Hi,
When we perform an action "To Be Approved" for an RFC (Request For Change) in Solution Manager, a mail will be triggered to the respective Change Manager. In that mail, a link will be there which will guide the Change Manager to the SAP Logon Pad.
The problem is, the link in that mail is not pointing towards the required system. It is taking the change manager to Development system instead of Production System.
Can you please help me, how to change this URL link in that e-mail that is being triggered when the action is performed. I just need to remove the Development system URL and paste the Production system URL.

How to incorporate URL in iOS Mail?

In Mail under MacOS X I am using often the possibility to 'hide' a URL with Command-K.
I like to do this in iOS' Mail too, but I didn't find how it can be done.
Somebody knows a workaround? Thanx in advance!

Message URL missing in Mail Menu (10.8)

Is it me not looking in the right place, or did Apple remove the menu item from Mountain Lion's Mail app to put a message url on the clipboard?

URL in E-mail created from Workflow

I am trying to send an e-mail notification to a user.
2 requirements .
1 - mails must got to MS Outlook inbox,
2 - mails must have a hyperlink.
The mails are going to the Outlook inbox, however the mail is being despatched in TXT format,thereby the hyperlink appears as plain text.
<b>Analysis</b>
Checked Workflow,identified mails are being sent in RAW format.
Checked SCOT,found RAW format is converted to TXT format.
Tried to find any coversion of RAW to HTM but unfortunately there is no option of HTM.

If you were to put the URL in the message body without the HTML tags, the E-mail application should recognize it as such and display it as a hyperlink(at least that is what my Lotus Notes does).
If it is a Send Mail Step, you can edit the task description as follows to be able to send HTML tags.
Go to the Task description Change screen.
Slect Menu option Goto->Change Editor. This will display the old SAP Script line editor.
Mark the line with the HTML tag for the URL as a comment line by selecting the "/*" for the Format.
Save.
There are certain size limitations for the length of the URL. Please see OSS Note #375669
SCOT configuration is same as yours for RAW.

Can't open file://-URLs (Links) in Mail or Messages. Adium works. What is wrong?

Hi, in our office, we send links to documents on our server with file://-URLs. In Yosemite (Mail and Messages) it is no longer possible to open these links via the services menu (open URL). Apple broke the way Mail handles afp:// URL links in Mavericks and has finished breaking Mail in Yosemite by breaking file:// URL links as well.
AFP urls in Mavericks are mounting as volumes

LINK TO URL FOR SENDING MAIL Doesnot work if more than 255 chars

I am Using Link to URL to open the mail browser with details passed as below
lv_refr = mailto:<mail_addr>?Subject=<subjectof mail>&body=<text of the mail>.
Above one works fine as long as length is LE 255 chars
if length lv_refr GE 255 does not work any more . I have body (Mail text) more than 500 chars . How can go about this issue ?

The same solution that I suggested above applies here. Build your email message as a single string. Line lenght won't matter. Then convert the string to the binary table. The binar table won't be restricted to 255 character line lenghts - and in fact wont' care about line lenghts at all. Your long URL in your hyperlink will be fine.

Update marketing permission by clicking URL from E-Mail

1. Through programming send an E-mail to the customer with URL.
2. Once customer opens the E-mail and clicks on URL, "E-Mail" Marketing permission should be set automatically in background for that customer.
To be more clear on requirement just take a example below.
when we register at SDN, we will receive a E-mail saying as thank you for registering with SAP ID Service.
To activate your account for SAP Community Network, click the link below.
when we click on the link Account will get activate.

the url in the email should be in the following form
http://abaphost.domain.com:port/sap/bc/bsp/sap/yourbspapp/status.htm?sap-client=clientno&reqno=<requestnumber>
and in status.htm declare a page attribute called reqno with auto check box checked.
now when the user click the link it will call status.htm and in oninitialization you will have the request no. in reqno variable, which you can process and show the relevant info in thepage.
