The URL never changes regardless of which page I am on in my website. For instance, my "Welcome" page is; www.lisarene.com, my "Blog" page is www.lisareme.com, my "Photo" page is www.lisarene.com......
Is there a way to have the URL specify a specific page in my website, for instance; www.lisarene.com/photos.
It seems like others are questioning the same thing but I haven't read an answer specific to this question.

Yes, there is a fix. My site can now be reached by typing my domain name in the URL, with the www.yournamehere.com or with out the www - just http://yournamehere.com The URL now shows specific pages such as; yournamehere.com/Recipes/Entries/2007/10/5_Flatbread.htm
This was the goal for many of us. This way we can direct someone to a specific page/entry in our blogs/websites when using our purchased domain names.
I went to the link Varkgirl suggested and followed her directions as posted in the link (note her PS further down on the thread, where you need to put in your www.yourdomain.com into your .Mac account settings).
It works perfectly! I managed it and find these things daunting at times. If your like me, take your time, read through the thread a couple of times and then simply follow the directions Varkgirl shows.

I've purchased cartoon tv shows for my iPad. Prior to the new updates, I could play one at a time or continous. Now I can only play one at a time. It's annoying to keep changing it every five or six minutes. Is there a fix to get it back playing continous

How can I make the URL change to show which page of flash I'm on?
Hey, this is a bit confusing to explain, but say I have a
flash site, just one swf file embedded in an html file. So you go
to www.mysite.com/index.html, and you see the main page.
In the flash site you have a button that just goes to a
different frame in the movie, aka a different page. Thing is, the
URL still shows index.html. This isn't a big problem, and is
technically 100% correct, but what if you want people to be able to
type www.mysite.com/gallery.html to access the gallery of your
site?
The only way I could imagine this working, is gallery.html
would just be a redirection site, which would go to index.html with
some arguments to go to the gallery frame of the site. or people
could go to www.mysite.com/index.html?=gallery (I dont know how
those setups work, is it PHP?)
The main reason I don't just have many html pages with
different swfs embedded in them is because then when you click a
link, you see a quick flash as the browser loads gallery.html
I am just wondering what the best setup is so all of your
pages are seamless together, no flashes on page switches or
anything, but while keeping differentiable URLs.

Repetitive pressing of one keyboard key produces different varied numbers and symbols.
I actually ran into this same issue and created a standalone app that restores the Snow Leopard functionality. It seems to be a bug in the current implementation, hopefully Apple fix it soon.

The problem started about a week or two ago. Usually it is just one or two tabs which have shifted. I am using Xmarks. I have not noticed any changes on the items within the various tabs, just a random shifting of the tabs.
Let me refine my question and issue because I'm now realizing that Logic is just delaying the recording, expecting latency (which is a horrible feature... good idea, but failed execution). So, is there any way to turn this off within the DAW? I want things to record on the grid. There shouldn't be any latency just trying to mix a few audio files together... right? Maybe I just never noticed in Pro Tools or the like. I'm going to test all the other DAWs as soon as I have time and see how they handle it. I know how to hone in the recording delay, but it never gets spot on for me. I still have to end up editing an externally recorded piece of audio, which is ok. But I don't find it acceptable when working completely in the DAW with just audio files...
Maybe I'm just doing something wrong... so I'm going to work on the delay... but I'm hoping someone has dealt with this before. -
I was browsing a bass pro website clicked on a drop down and safari closed, went to an error page reading.
Safari has quit unexpectedly. sending erro to apple option to click ok or reload page. when i click either nothing happens mostly. sometimes it closes out and if i can load safari again the message just comes back up... however, i can shutdown and open in safe mode and browse. is there a quick fix?You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates
if it's not already checked. -
Not sure why it takes almost 1-2 minutes for Firefox to fully open and load. It's also not an internet issue, as Safari opens immediately.

I am trying to save all 20 pages of a pdf as .png images. I scroll to each page and then select File>Export... and save an image. Regardless of which page I'm on, it will only export the first page.

What is even more lame is that I'm doing this work-around because whoever created this datasheet either didn't properly embed the fonts, or the fonts are corrupt, hence, while it displays perfectly on the screen, printing yeilds:

If it can display it, there should be a way to print what you see (remember rasterized plots back in the day??).That does seem rather useless.
Use Automator - it has a "PDF to Images" action that will do exactly what you need. Drop your document into the workflow, drop the "PDF to Images" action in right after that, set any options that you need (like where to save) and then click "run"
Barring that, I've found that sometimes Adobe Reader will sometimes work well for documents that Preview can't print, and I've found some documents that Adobe Reader chokes on but Preview handles flawlessly. -
Which page items get included in URL on doSubmit()?
This is totally perplexing me.
I have a page with 5 page items in a tabular region. All of them are set to hidden/protected.
The page is loaded with one of those page items specified in the URL.
If I use the button to delete one or more rows on the from, or click on the "Add New Row" button, the page is submitted, and comes back with three of those five page items specified in the URL.
First question: why only 3 and not all 5? Why THESE three? I can't see any differences between one of the page items that does display in the submitted URL vs. one that doesn't.
Second question: I changed one of those page items to display conditionally. If a certain condition is not met, the field is never output to the page. However, EVEN THEN when I submit the page using one of the buttons above, the field is included in the submitted URL! Should that even be happening? That actually strikes me as a security risk, unless there's something I'm doing wrong.
I can probably create a test page on apex.oracle.com if necessary. (It's on apex.oraclecorp.com right now, but moving it will take some time since I'll have to strip out some sensitive data.) But I'm hoping this is just some easy-to-explain concept I'm just not grasping.

2) yes, this is correct behaviour. condition is for rendering, but the branch is fixed.

Updated phone page and when I ftp'd "modified files" it never changed the page
I wasn't ready to load the phone part of Muse but already added a logo and contact info. When I saw that it was on my phone I went back into Muse and added a text block stating we are updating the mobile site. When I ftp'd the "modified files" the page never changed. Any idea? I checked my layers and everything. After I added the block I went back into Muse and changed the wording. After ftping the modified files again it wrote over it and now there are two layers of text over each other! ugh! So I thought I would just delete them both. Wrong. They are both still there. Any clue?
Select "All Files" when doing the FTP upload.
Muse relies solely on the information in the muse_manifest.xml file to determine what files have changed since Muse last uploaded files. If you manually add, edit or delete files from your site Muse will be completely unaware of those changes and you'll need to upload with "All Files" select in order to get Muse back in sync with what files (and file versions) are on your site.
Muse takes this approach because manually checking every file for changes over FTP during every FTP upload would be very slow. -
The weather add-on allows for entering multiple locations, and asks how often you'd like it to switch the display to show the current weather in different places. I chose "5 minutes", but it never changes.
Does the author of the add-on provide any support? If they do provide support you would be better off asking the author.
What add-on is it, there are quite a few weather add-ons. -
Is it possible to get any kind of notification when a change to a wiki page occur ?

I'm not aware any email notifications methods for changes to wiki pages. As you already mentioned we got subscriptions for folder level changes from BOL admin. Will let you know if I come across any ideas.

This used to be a real HTML page and it isn't any more. THis choice was pure isiocy consider how peopel used that page every day (try taking to your users for a change).
The pages listed on that 'post crash page' used to be actual LINKS (you could right click them &
manually open them in another tab - and most peope DID that every day). You could also (and I did this a lot) drag a second
copy of the page, into a new tab (to keep track of all the pages I had not wanted to open)
Now the pages are no longer links. You cannot right-click them.
The thing in the probser is no longer a page that I can drag into a new tab.
Roll the version back and throw this one in the bin...and have a good long talk with your developers about the definition of
'STUPIDITIY'
Then I try to type anything in the addres bar it is suppose to repoond with the history of old things I have types in the past, or
search for what I type (and in some cases I think it tyes to convert it intoa URL). However it no longer does any of these
things. When I type in the ADDRESS BAR ONLY, I do not get all of my letters to appear. I have to type into a notepad or
into the search and to copy and paste to go to a URL. Nothing that is typed into the address bad responds normally at all
anymore, and I am fairly certain there are no new addons on this machine at all. It does not matter which things I disable. It
still does this. W of course points the finger back at a change to FIREFOX. I wich I could just sitct with one stable release
forever but the MOZILLA folk thing it is best to force peopel awy from a working broswer release to a horrible one (due to it
being out of date).
FIREFOX 26.0 has 'issues' (ie new *features*/bugs)
1) History is no longer accurate. My Proof? This machine is the primary one for the entire family (the only PC working). It is
logged in with same user every time and never has its history cleared. It now January 7 so I ought to have a list of all of last
months browing available to me.
However, according to FIREFOX history, in all of December 2013, the entire family only went to 51 primary URL's. None of
the official TV sites I use to get episodes are listed. None of the official movie sites I use are listed. The primary URL for
ebay is not listed. Only 1 out of our 4 weather sites that I use (at least once a week) are listed. Only 1 of our 3 FINANCE
sites is listed. There ought to be several; hundred root URLs listed.
Please fix history as this change seriously "blows greasy chunks"
PROBLEM (a stupid change in the new FIREFOX version)
FOr a long time, after a crash you got a useful page (a real HTML page) which gave you a list of all of your last sessions
'winwos and tabs' that were open when the browser crashed. there were certain ways of using this page that are no longer
able to be done.
The old method was wonderful as it had this behavior :
*** The old method for displaying your 'Recovered Tabs' allowed you to :
a) right click an individual item and open it in a tab without getting rid of that lovely window of your previous session of
'recovered windows and tabs '.
2) drag the URL for the entire window of 'recovered windows and tabs ' to a new tab (to make a second copy) so that you
could select just a few of them to open as a group, and stil have the old list handy.
You can no longer do either of these things. The 'recovered windows and tabs ' page no longer has links in it and can no longer be dragged, so you cant select a few of them to use, and keep the rest around for later. NOW - once you choose which pages to open the window is gone forever (can can't get a second copy).
People used to make a copy of the page for later use (with a drag)
we also used to open pages with a right click (which no longer functions
This new method seriously blows big greasy chunks. A parge loss in function has occurred.
Put things back as they were. 26 is full of terrible changes that NOBODY likes. It also has a lot of bugs (history is not reliable at all)(1) Firefox's built-in post-crash page has not been a real HTML page for a long time (for example, from the time of Firefox 22, see: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/968212 Want to save LOTS of versions of "Restore Session.xht" from the "oops ..." page for later use]). If you had this working differently with Firefox 25, that might have been created by an extension.
You can check to see whether extensions are disabled or need an update on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. The disabled extensions cluster toward the bottom of the list. To poll for updates, use the "gear" button above the list and choose Check for Updates.
If you used the Reset feature (or Firefox automatically did a reset due to some problem during upgrading), you will need to reinstall missing extensions. The reset feature creates a folder on the desktop named Old Firefox Data. Do you have that folder? There may be data you can recover from it.
(2) There are many ways for history to get cleared, both internal to Firefox and external. Could you double-check your Privacy settings?

* The "Firefox will" drop-down says Use custom settings for history: inspect the "Clear history when Firefox closes" setting to make Firefox isn't set to clear history. Also check your add-ons and consider external software.
Firefox normally accumulates months of history. However, some of Firefox's database sizes are based on disk space available. If your hard drive is very full, Firefox might reduce the amount of history stored. -
