  • Way the url of the images are absolute in km?

    Hi!
    I am having some trouble with the url's of the images that I insert in a html page on KM. Specifically, when I insert a new image, the URL of it is absolute!!
    I mean:
    http://<host>:<port>/irj/go/km/docs/documents/imagename.gif
    I edited the url and remove the http://<host>:<port> so I get the relative url
    /irj/go/km/docs/documents/imagename.gif
    but when I save the settings, the system insert the hostname and port.....making the url absolute again!!
    Is this a bug or I making a mistake?
    The real problem arises when I transport the KM Content (using ICE), becouse after the transport, the url of the image in the new system keep being absolute... and keep referencing to the original hostname and port!!!
    could anybody give me a tip or some advice???
    thanks in advace!!!
    best regards

    pd: I am working on EP 7 SP 11

    Hi Marcelo,
    This is strange. We always insert links to images like "/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/documents/images/test.gif", and it works ok in all environments.  This link dynamically adds the <host>:<port> from the environment where it is being accessed from.
    Are you seeing the <host>:<port> when you look at the source code of the page after it has been rendered?

  • Absoulte url for a image

    Hello,
    I have a page that is an include file for another page in a
    different folder. I put an image in the include file and contribute
    loaded the image where I wanted, but on the page that includes this
    file is looking for the image in the wrong location. All I need to
    do is make the image source an absoulte url so it can be properly
    read by the other page. Is there anyway I can get contribute to
    except the absolute url for the include file. Hope you understand
    my question. Below is fa older structure that might help explain.
    include file located
    www.url.com/zz/page.html
    image in the include file located
    www.url.com/zz/images/image.jpg
    page showing broken image
    www.url.com/yy/page.html

  • Need URL for BDS image

    Hi. I recently uploaded an image file to the business document server through SHDI.  I would like to display the image in a picture control on a custom screen, but I don't want to use a transaction variant or screen variant.  So I need to get the URL of the uploaded image. The file name as provided by SHDI is 'SAPIM:TA_VARIANTS_IMAGES//THRIFT_SAV//systemlogo2.bmp'.  I also uploaded a gif version.  Does anyone know of a method or function module that I can use to get the URL for this image?  I tried using DP_PUBLISH_WWW_URL, but that only will get images from the web repository (so far as I can tell).  Any ideas?  Please note that I am on R/3 version 4.6C.  I'm using the load_picture_from_url_async method of class cl_gui_picture to load my image into my custom control.
    Thanks,
      April King

    I solved my own problem.  It turns out that I can use methods get_info and get_with_url from class cl_bds_document_set to get my bds image.  Sample code was in program SAPRDEMOWORD97INTEGRATION, in case anyone else needs to see it.

            at java.net.URL.<init>(URL.java:464)
            at java.net.URL.<init>(URL.java:413)any idea why? is it mean to be only deployed and not forcast to run as an application with internal reference to image?

  • Link URL's to images in uiloader

    Hello - I've got a flash page where a uiloader uses 10 different images.  Wondering if I can assign a url to each image so that when they load, the viewer could click to follow the link.  Any suggestions?

    you can use navigateToURL() to add url links.  it's easiest to add each loader to a movieclip and assign mouse listeners to the movieclip.

  • HT204093 I am following the instructions to hyperlink URL to an image in an email, but once I paste the URL, the "ok" button is not highlighted so I cannot complete the task. What is the problem and how do I get around it?

    I am following the instructions to hyperlink URL to an image in an email, but once I paste the URL, the "ok" button is not highlighted so I cannot complete the task. What is the problem and how do I get around it?

    I figured out if I took the http:// off the front of the URL, the "ok" button would highlight, but then link did not work. I tried just linking www.google.com to the image and the link did not work either. What gives?!

  • Correct URL path for images on HTML reports

    We are using Reports Server 6.0 and rwcgi60.exe to display HTML reports on the web. A number of our reports have embedded charts in them which get converted into gifs when the HTML report gets generated.
    The problem is that the HTML report has a <base href="http://machinename/cache/xyz.html"> at the top of the report. In our case, the machinename is the name of the web-server. However, when folks go to our website, they actually see our domain name rather than the internal machine name of the web-server. Hence, the images do not show up as the URL associated with the image is not accessible by folks coming from outside the web-server.
    Is there some setting that will help us set the base href associated with generated reports? Or is there some other way to get the reports to show up with images on the web?
    Thanks

    You can't change the base tag - but I'm not sure I understand the problem. If machinename.domain is the full name of the machine running the webserver, and this is what was used when calling the CGI, then this is what the base tag will have. Does your machine have 2 names or something - and only 1 gets resolved to some folks?

  • "Browser is not supported" message accessing a URL to an Image

    Hi.
    I have a dynamically generated URL, which points to an image (GIF) created based on a BusinessGraphics chart.
    When I access this URL with Internet Explorer (6.0.2900), no problem at all. The image loads and is displayed on IE. But, when I set this URL to be called from other sources (like an Adobe Interactive Form image field, or creating a inputstream based on this URL), the below message is displayed:
    Sorry, your browser is not supported by Web Dynpro!
    Is there a way to solve it? I need to display the image associated to this URL in Adobe Interactive Form.
    Regards,
    Douglas Frankenberger

    Hi,
    What SP do you use?
    You have two options:
    1) Upgrade your portal to Support Package
    2) Implement note 991449

  • How to use boimage url for displaying images

    I am trying to test the Image URL feature in a Web Intelligence report.
    I have a few images loaded in the images folder on the installation server.
    I made the text of a cell: boimage://auditingBOBJLogo.png
    No images are showing up. When I am in view mode a box with an x shows.
    I am using the Web Client to edit the report and view it in InfoView.
    Any tips or best practices for getting this to work would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Make sure that you have placed the image files in correct folder.
    And the cell formula is boimg://auditingBOBJLogo.png and not boimage://auditingBOBJLogo.png.
    Remember to set the display property of the cell to Image URL.

  • Can anyone tell me how to upload a url to an image onto facebook the way you could with a pc. Recently switched over to Mac and this is one thing I can't seem to figure out. Basically in Windows you could right click on an image, click copy the image url

    I've recently switched over to a Mac and before in Windows on a pc if you wanted to post an image on facebook you would right click the image you found on the post you wanted to share, then click copy url. You'd simply take that url and put it into the facebook post when uploading an image and that's all. Can not seem to find a way to do it now, other than saving the image to the computer and then uploading that which is not what I want to do. I've searched and searched but can't seem to find a solution other then posting in Parallels Window.
    Any suggestions??

    Thanks brody, I had been able to do that but on my business fb page I often post images and put in the links myself in the descriptions. In Windows you're able to post images by simply pasting in the url but on the Mac I'd have to download someone's image which I'm not comfortable doing so I find myself switching back and forth between the Mac and Windows.
    This link explains what I'm trying to do on the Mac probably in a less confusing way than I just did: http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-57496509-285/quickly-upload-photos-to-facebo ok-by-pasting-the-image-url/

  • How to display non-URL-based thumbnail images in JTable

    I'm trying to display thumbnail images as a tooltip popup for certain cells in a JTable. The thumbnail images are java image objects that have been retrieved dynamically as the result of a separate process--there is no associated URL. For this reason, I can't use the setToolTipText() method of the JTable.
    My attempts to JTable's createToolTip() method also failed as it seems the ToolTipManager never calls this method for a JTable.
    As a workaround, I've added a MouseMotionListener to the JTable that detects when the mouse is over the desired table cells. However, I'm not sure how to display the popup over the JTable. The only component that I can get to display over the JTable is a JPopupMenu, but I don't want to display a menu--just the image. Can anyone suggest a way to display a small popup image over the table?
    Thanks.

    Thank You Rodney. This explains why my createToolTip() method wasn't being called, but unfortunately I'm no closer to my goal of displaying a true custom tooltip using a non-URL image rather than a text string. If I make a call to setToolTipText(), at any point, the text argument becomes the tooltip and everything I have tried in createToolTip() has no effect. However, as you pointed out, if I don't call setToolTipText(), the table is not registered with the tooltip manager and createToolTip() is never even called.
    To help clarify, I have attached an SSCCE below. Please note that I use a URL image only for testing. In my actual application, the images are available only as Java objects--there are no URLs.
    import javax.swing.*;
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.net.URL;
    import java.net.MalformedURLException;
    public class Test {
        static Object[][] data = {
                {"Cell 0,0", "Cell 0,1"},
                {"Cell 1,0", "Cell 1,1"}};
        static String[] columnNames = {"Column 0", "Column 1"};
        static JFrame frame;
        static String testImageURLName = "http://l.yimg.com/k/omg/us/img/7c/0a/4009_4182164952.jpg";
        static JTable testTable = new JTable(data, columnNames) {
            public JToolTip createToolTip() {
                System.out.println("testTable.createToolTip() called");
                Image testImage = getTestImage();
                // this.setToolTipText("Table ToolTip Text");
                JLabel customTipLabel = new JLabel(new ImageIcon(testImage));
                customTipLabel.setToolTipText("Custom ToolTip Text");
                JToolTip parentTip = super.createToolTip();
                parentTip.setComponent(customTipLabel);
                return parentTip;
        // This image is loaded from a URL only for test purposes!!!
        // Ordinarily, the image object would come from the application
        // and no URL would be available.
        public static Image getTestImage() {
            try {
                URL iconURL = new URL(testImageURLName);
                ImageIcon icon = new ImageIcon(iconURL);
                return icon.getImage();
            catch (MalformedURLException ex) {
                JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(frame,
                        "Set variable \"testImageName\" to a valid file name");
                System.exit(1);
            return null;
        public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
            frame = new JFrame("Test Table");
            frame.setSize(300, 100);
            // Set tool tip text so that table is registered w/ tool tip manager
            testTable.setToolTipText("main tooltip");
            frame.getContentPane().add(testTable);
            frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
            frame.setVisible(true);

  • After updating to 12.0, I can't copy and paste images from any website; instead of the image pasting, the URL for the image pastes instead; help, please?

    This applies to copying from any website, and pasting to any and all applications. This is exactly coincidental to install of 12.0. This is a basic, common, and essential function of any web browser. I've read various unacceptable "workarounds" in a couple posts, and am respectfully requesting a truly professional response from Firefox re: what exactly can be done to restore this basic, elementary function. I have been a major Firefox fan up until now, and need it to provide this basic functionality in a dependable way - simple right-click, copy image, and paste the image (not it's URL). Thanks for helping (hopefully).
