URL on Pop-Up

Hello all,
I have designed a custom pop-up to be displayed from standard WebUI view and diplay data in a tabular form, everything is working fine but i see a url( http address ) showing up in the Pop-Up which is not intended. How do I remove it ?

Actually I was able to modify it using "Pref setter". I could also change the plist setting in terminal. Apparently this is a little turn on that Safari Enhancer does for you when you run it, not a basic feature of Safari at all as my wife, who didn't run enhancer didn't have it. Thanks for the reply, however.

Connecting to url keeps popping up and can't play song

looking for help. my wife's itunes on her gateway pc is getting a quick window pop up when she tries to play some songs from the itunes store. the window says "connecting to url" yet the song won't play. I have never seen anything like this. how can she get her itunes to work "normally" again?

Have you tried giving it the password it's asking for? Sounds like you may have apps installed that were purchased with an account other than the one you're using, or something similar.

Remove url from pop-up

Hi all,
I can't believe I've forgotten how to do this!
I have a popup on the page, created using a behaviour - I would like to remove the URL / Address bar from the top of the windows when it loads - I would also like to remove the desciption at the top as well so it is just a nidy tidy box with my text inside....

If you're using the DW onClick Behavior + Open Browser Window, you would see a properties box with various attributes check boxes. Deselect the ones you don't want.
Or go into code view and find the onClick link to your pop-up window and change the attributes as follows:

FF8.01 is blocking me opening some links in various websites that will open in IE. I have added the URL to pop up blocker and tried hitting Cntrl and clicking but still blocks from opening?

At URL:

after filling out form on right and clicking submit, nothing happens- being blocked. Opens fine in IE??????
Have several other URL's where this also happens.

I now have Firefox 26 and I still have this problem. Even with the blocker off it still blocks the popups I want and displays the yellow bar. Very very annoying....
Is there any kind of way to trace why the blocker decided to block a page?

How to get rid of an unwanted search url that pops up automatically

I downloaded this music program iMesh, and now every time I go to another tab it automatically takes me to the iMesh search engine. And I have iGoogle as my homepage but it doesn't take me to iGoogle. How do I get rid of this iMesh? I've uninstalled the program already.

How can I pass a value from one application to another through URL

I am passing a value APP_USER from one application to another application (item is P_ASK_U) through navigation bar entrees URL.
This is working with in the application..(javascript:popupURL('f?p=&APP_ID.:165:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.::P_ASK_U:#&APP_USER.#') )
This one is not passing the value, eventhough it open the application..
javascript:popupURL('http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=35129:1:::P_ASK_U:&APP_USER.');
Is there any syntax error or is it not possible, please let me know..

Hi Scott,
You are right, the first one do not need # character.
In the Doc it is mentioned as....
Pass the value on a URL reference using f?p syntax. For example:
f?p=100:101:10636547268728380919::NO::MY_ITEM:ABC
I am using the following URL, it pops up the external application, but it is not passing the APP_USER value to the page item of that application.

BEx Query Designer - Execute pops up blank Internet Explorer session

Hi gurus,
From BEx Query Designer, I choose Execute, and it pops up a blank Internet Explorer window rather than the query. It says about:blank in the URL and the page is white.
I read some posts that say to run RSPOR_SETUP, but I don't have a Java system or Portal system so does that still apply to me? I want the URL that pops up to point to the BW system which is an ABAP system.

Please note that Java stack is mandatory for running Queries in web side
or for executing the Queries using Transaction RSRT -> Java Web or
for executing the Queries using Query Designer in Release 7.x .
So, please install Java stack and use BI Java components for running

UCCX Screen Pops

Hello,
I am new to the Contact Center environment. I have been task with trying to assist in the collaboration of a 3rd party application (Ticketing System) and UCCX 8.5.1. I am trying to find out where we could place a url in a script. I will need for the url to pop up once a call comes in. We will then populate the ticket with the customer information. My portion of the project is determining where to place the url. Any assistance would be highly appreciated.

Start by taking a look at the Cisco Desktop Administrator user guide. I included a link below. There is a section titled "HTTP Action" which discusses how you can configure the desktop to pop up a URL with parameters from the agent desktop.

How to run ldap in URL

I would like to connect windows server 2012 via browser by using
ldap://ip:389 , but when I run this URL , it pops "Launch application , windows contacts , choose an application..." , I am administrator but can not do that , would advise how to do it to let me use this method "ldap://ip:389"

Access Web Dynpro Java application through direct URL

Hi Guys,
we have a requirement that there is a link in web dynpro abap screen, click on it will open a new ie window running web dynpro java application, so what i did is i have given direct url link for that web dynpro java application:
as this:

but after i clicked on this url, it pop up 1 window, after i entered id & passoword, it is showing this wd java appl, but there is 1 grey image on top of the view & "welcome xxxx"; below that is the actual view from wd java.

how to remove the grey image & the "welcome xxx"? it looks like masthead but we dun need it.

Hi Feng,
Actually what you are seeing using the application URL and after giving the credentials on Portal is a portal screen which carries the theme as well. Therefore, you will be able to see the masthead with header and Portal User Name. So, use the URL generated by preview of a web dynpro iView in your component to avoid the masthead.

Ical list printing shows URL info not entered manually

I used to be able to add items through Ical without URLs being automatically added when I print any list in Ical. I create items in Ical, yet the URLs automatically appear later? I am not sure if this started happening after system or mail updates or due to sync of iPhone? Can anyone shed some light? I can enter a new item, with that item not showing a URL, but eventually the URL will pop in?

I am really hating this. iCal is adding a URL onto my "to-do" items. I don't want iCal to do this. The link says "show in mail". I've tried help in both iCal and Mail to eliminate this URL.
The big problem is I want to print my to-do list without the URLs showing. They are huge, take up tons of space, and are just going to confuse everyone looking at the to-do list. HELP! PLEASE!

I couldn't get the "archives" pages to load any QuickTime content but was able to view the page source code to find the URL.

To open any file directly in the Player requires a "direct" link to the file (not the Web page that holds it).

Jabber XML / URL / Mini-Browser?

A customer of mine would like to edit the XML files to include a "help" URL that pops up a mini-browser in Jabber. Is this something that has been done? Ideally the user will stay within Jabber to read the customer specific help information rather than being redirected to their native browser (ie Chrome/Firefox). Can someone please shed some light on this scenario, and how the XML files would look to accommodate?

Sender Mail Adapter issue

Hi All,
We are getting this error in Sender Mail adapter.
"exception caught during processing mail message; java.net.ConnectException: A remote host refused an attempted connect operation"
It is a (Lotus Notes) Mail to File scenario.
Used POP3, and gave the URL as POP:// ** .
I have tried pinging the server and getting a good response.
I have also tried the OS01 ans it returned a response : Program Terminated.
I am not sure if the POP3 port is enabled.
Are there any check points we are missing ?
Please throw some light on this as we need to solve this asap ..

Shabarish is right.
This seem a connectivity issue. Try to ping Mail server from your PI System and check pop3 port.

I am not able to run a simple and empty UICell in JDeveloper.
Steps:
1.Create a new UICell by including ApplCore jars in JDev on Linux environment.
2.Right click on this cell and run it.

I run into this problem today and since there is no solution posted for it, I will post my solution to it for future reference:
This problem appeared all of a sudden - I was able to deploy before - when deploying from JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 onto WLS (standalone version shipped with JDeveloper 11.1.1.4). The solution that worked for me was to copy the needed library - sunjce_provider.jar - from the java jre/lib/ext directory to the domain's lib directory. This will add the needed jar to the server's classpath during startup and allow you to deploy.
