http://utic115:58300/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcSLCMS~WebUI/Cms
Anybody oh he/she knows?
Thank you,
Obrigado,

Hi Asha,
Here’re some suggestions for you.
1.
Please make sure the username and password are all right.
2.
Please check if you’ve added the Control Panel requested URL to IE trusted site zone.
3.
If you have configured an administration simple uniform resource locator (URL), you can access Lync Server Control Panel from an Internet
browser that is running on any computer within your organization’s firewall. So please check the Admin URL in Topology Builder.
Above all, hope useful.

Connecting specific server node from portal
Hello,
I am trying to access specific server node with URL "http://<Server>:<Port Number>/irj/portal;sapj2ee_irj=<Node ID>"
I am able to access portal page through the above URL, but even while entering incorrect Node ID, portal page is accessible which should not happen ideally.
I am trying to configure an alerting mechanism so that I can know which server node is up and whiich one is down when users try accessing portal.
Please provide me steps to access server node through portal and also if there is some specific portal parameter which controls the above mentioned anomaly.
Regards,
AnuradhaHi Anuradha,
Please use something like:
http://<Server>:<Port Number>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.default;sapj2ee_*=<NodeID>.
You can use
java_scriptj<colon>alertOpenparentesisdocument<dot>cookiecloseparentesis
to find out if you connected to the proper node. Note the sapj2ee_* parameter is optional so if the value provided is not correct it will connect you to one of the available nodes. Remove the underscore from java_script.
Replace:
java_script with javascript
<colon> with :
Openparentesis with (
Closeparentesis with )
SCN would not let me post the symbols
Best regards,
Duncan

JDBC Url for connecting SQL Server Alias name
Hi All,
I am having a SqlServer Databse Instance for that we have created "alias name".
i am unable to connect to that particular alias name.
please can any one though light on this plz.
Edited by: mahesh512 on Jun 17, 2009 6:48 PMIf i am geussing right, you mean that you have created a TNS Name for your Database Server.
If you are accessing it from your DB Client via the TNS name, maybe the CLient is configured to contact a TNS Server to retrieve the IP if the server.
Your JDBC Driver does not do that. Either use the IP of the DB Server or provide a Source for the Driver to look up the IP via the TNS Name.
How this is accomplished deplends on your Database. -
Connect to server using IPv6 address in afp URL
I'm not sure whether this is the correct forum for this question, but does anyone know whether I can specify an IPv6 address in the "Connect to Server" dialog?
I've setup IPv6 over direct-wired ethernet between my MBP and Mini. Using ping6, I can ping one from the other (but only when I specify -I en0)
I've tried the following URLs:
afp://[fe80::0216:cbff:dead:beef]
afp://[fe80::0216:cbff:dead:beef%en0]
I think the problem might be because I don't have an IPv6 router between the two hosts.
Thanks.
MacBook Pro 15 2.0GHz Mac OS X (10.4.8) mini 1.83GHzI have the same problem and for me it extends to everything from SSH to HTTP. I think that mac has a bug in it networking. I can't get it to work on any mac I've tried. Can your mini connect to your laptop?
I've been googling for 3 days and can't find any solution.

Hello All,
We are getting "Unable to connect to Server at <<servername>>. enter a different URL and try again" error, if we are trying to connect to report server in report builder.
This issue is appearing only on 2-3 client machines only. Rest on other client machines and server URL is working fine.
Please suggest
Thanks in Advanace

-Kumud VaishI would suggest looking at what might be different between those clients and the others that work. Do they run the same antivirus version? Did they receive any recent updates (windows or AV)? Are they potentially on a different network
(sometimes a wireless network is configured to be different from the wired)? Are they getting any different group policies?
We've seen the antivirus web control block access before in my environment. -

I would like to be able to choose which specific node I'm to use.
Thank you,
Jerome M.Jerome,
If by "specific server node" you mean the chice between server0 or server2, there is no choice.
You can connect only to dispatcher via dispatcher port.
Dispatcher will make sure your subsequent requests will be processed by the same server node, but, to my best knowledge, it is not possible to tell dispatcher what server node to use for initial connection.
Why do you need this option?
Maybe we can suggest you some other working solution.

Connect to server/Mount Volume not honoring user in URL
I connect to an SMB share on a Windows server in a domain using a particular domain user, for example smb://user1@myserver1 . I then connect to a different server in the same domain with a different user, for example smb://user2@myserver2 . The SMB mounter in OS X 10.7 ignores the user specified in the second URL, and instead uses the user from the first mount point instead. This is very troubling for people that have to connect to different servers with different users. I've verified that this is what actually happens by mounting an SMB share on a Windows server, and then viewing the Open File Sessions in the Computer Management snap-in. Rather than seeing the user that I specified in the URL (user2), I'm instead seeing the user that I initially used to connect to a completely different server (user1).
As I said I never used this before Lion and I don;t have any smb shares to test on but this is what I've found which may be of help:
The following workflow connects to my MB from an iMac:
Notice that the MB name is administrator's MacBook with a space and an apostrophe. Notice the %chars for the space and the apos so I don't think that the %20 for the space in your case is causing the problem.
When I tried this by entering afp://administrator's MacBook it failed. The error message showed the special chars converted as in the url that worked what was missing was the everything after the _ in the name.
When I did a connect to server in the Finder and selected Recent servers from the pull down and selected administrator's MacBook the url in the action above was shown. I copied the url from the server address line and pasted into the Automater action.
This might be of some help in your case at least it might show if the %20 is really causing the problem.

Applications File Server connection with the node FNDFS_PROR
I run the report and workflow sent me a link refer to the report output. However, I receive the following link after I click the link.
What is it?
An error occurred while attempting to establish an Applications File Server connection with the node FNDFS_PRORSGSDB. There may be a network configuration problem, or the TNS listener on node FNDFS_PRORSGSDB may not be running. Please contact your system administrator.

AmyHi Amy,
I run the report and workflow sent me a link refer to the report output. However, I receive the following link after I click the link.Was it working before? Any recent changes in the system? Whats your APPS and DB version.
An error occurred while attempting to establish an Applications File Server connection with the node FNDFS_PRORSGSDB. There may be a network configuration problem, or the TNS listener on node FNDFS_PRORSGSDB may not be running. Please contact your system administrator.As preliminary checks do the following,
1. Check the system profiles RRA: Service Prefix, SITE value should be FNDFS or blank
2. Run "Report Review Agent Setup Test" and see if it returns any errors.
[Oracle Application Object Library Report Review Agent Setup Test|https://metalink2.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=NOT&p_id=200358.1]
3. Let us know the query output
SQL> select CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME
from FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES
where CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME like 'FND%';

Getting current server node url.
Hi,
I have a requirement where i need to refresh the whole browser.
1. We have three boxes DEV,ACC,PROD all having different url.
can u pls let me know hoe to get the current server node url in a Dynpage application.
What methods can I use for this.Hi,
If you nodes are in cluster you get information from similarly as below:
import com.sapportals.portal.prt.service.clusterinformation.IClusterInformation;
public static int getCurrentNodeId() throws PortalRuntimeException
// Get the current Node
final IClusterInformation clusterInfo = (IClusterInformation)PortalRuntime.getRuntimeResources().getService(IClusterInformation.KEY);
return(clusterInfo.getNodeId());
public static String getServerName()
String name = null;
try
InetAddress host = InetAddress.getLocalHost();
name = host.getHostName();
}catch(UnknownHostException hostExcept)
LogHelper log = GlobalConfig.getServiceLog();
log.log("Error looking up server name: ", hostExcept);
return(name);
Hope this will help you. -
Possible to Directly Address Individual Server Node in Portal URL?
Hello,
A portal, java only, application server can have multiple JVM server nodes. The first node installed is server0, addtional nodes can follow like server1, server2, etc as needed and capacity allows. The typical URL for addressing a portal installation is http://<hostname>:<portnumber>/irj/portal. Does anyone know of a way to directly send a request to a specific node of the app server, ie. http://<hostname>:<portnumber>/server1/irj/portal?
The need typically arises during troubleshooting.
Kind Regards, MitchThanks for taking the time to reply, but the information is not what I'm looking for. A distinction should be made between <hostname> and <servernode>. When I use the term <hostname> I'm talking the physical server device. When I use the term <servernode> I'm talking Java server nodes, logical units added to the SAP runtime environment to add processing capability.
In OSS 723909 you can see a recommendation, 'We recommend using additional server nodes instead of huge heaps'. It is these additional server nodes that I'm referring to in my query. You can add these additional java server nodes in 'configtool' with the menu path 'server - add server', provided the physical device <hostname> has adequate memory to support the additional node. So, configtool in a multi-host, multi-java-server node environment looks like this:
Global server configuation
instance_ID12345
dispatcher_ID12345...
server_ID12567
server_ID12678
instance_ID#####
dispatcher_ID#####
server_ID#####
server_ID#####
instance_ID#####
dispatcher_ID#####
server_ID#####
server_ID#####
instance_ID#####
dispatcher_ID#####
server_ID#####
server_ID#####
So, instance_12345 is the equivalent of physical host. The dispatcher that runs on the java app server, dispatcher_ID12345, makes the decision which server (server_ID12567 vs server_ID12678) to route a request to. My question is does anyone know of a way to directly address server_ID12567 versus server_ID12678. Again, this is needed for administrative troubleshooting puposes only. -

FRM-92050: Failed to connect to Server: /forms/lservlet-1 coming thru LBR
Hi,
Our EBS setup is as follows,
R12.1.1,
10g DB, 10.2.0.4 (patchset)
Sun Solaris 10 64 bit
Two node Apps Tier (AppServer1 and AppServer2) in a shared APPL_TOP.
and Two node RAC Database Tier (DBNode1 and DBNode2)
Highly secured and firewall environments.
We configured EBS R12 and we were able to login and launch forms , Submit conncurrent jobs and everythings worked fine.
http://hostname.domainname:8000
Now , our requirement is that all the users would be accessing our EBS through https and the flow is as follows,
Step1:
User => https://lbrname.domainname:443
here lbrname is our Load Balancer name. Here the request is identified as EBS request and LBR forwards that URL to our reverse proxy server
Step2:
Our reverse proxy server is Sun http web server 7 update 5. It converts it to http://hostname.domainname:8000 and offloads it to the apps tier.
We followed metalink note 380489.1 - Using Load-Balancers with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 to configure our EBS with load balancer .
(Section 2.1: Using Hardware Load Balancers with Single Web Entry Point).
After configuring we are able to login to the EBS URL using https://lbrname.domainname:443.
Now here is our problem,
When trying to launch any form , it gives the below error.
FRM-92050: Failed to connect to Server: /forms/lservlet-1
not sure how to proceed. Looked at google , metalink but not getting anywhere.
Can you please give some pointers as how to solve this problem ?
Thanks,
SasiHi Helios,
Thank you very much for your time.
Metalink ID 438522.1 & 367614.1 doesnt apply to our environment.
I had looked at 470890.1 and it looked like we are ok but I'm going to double check on that.
FRM-92050: Failed to connect to Server: /forms/lservlet:-1 http://ID 470890.1
On the laodbalancer (Big IP) i need to check with our network team.
FRM-92050: Failed To Connect To Server: /forms/lservlet:-1 http://ID 793409.1
Thanks again.
