Been watching Netflix on my Verizon HP Notebook, it's less than 3mo old. runs windows xp...pretty standard stuff. Anyway tried to login to netflix and Firefox gave this error message--Invalid URL
The requested URL "/home", is invalid. Reference #9.9d0bc841.1320231048.92bcc44 -- I called Netflix & there system running perfectly. My pc running perfectly as well. Logged into netflix using IE--worked just fine. So by process of elimination, it's Firefox's Problem! I have NO CLUE about it, never seen it before on ANY browser. Tried opening & closing FFx, restarting puter, etc...Don't know what else to tell you except Firefox works on every other website now EXCEPT NETFLIX, it's the darnedest (I know that's not a word LOL) I've seen--it happened 10/2/11 @ about 3am!

As I understand:
The procedure works.
The link 'appears' to work. (ie you saw the procedure run a 2nd at the database level)
But it doesn't actually work (because you get a 404)
I think I ran into an issue, on a completely different page type, that produced an 'error 404'. (I can't seem to reproduce it, though)
The only way I discovered what was really going on was with an HTTP sniffer. (eg HTTPFox for FireFox)
Through that, I noticed that the browser was (for some reason) calling a completely non-sensible APEX page. (hence the PAGE NOT FOUND error)
My solution was to add a "submit to self" branch point.
If that doesn't work, I'm at a loss.

Hi folks,
I am working on WAD3.5 where in I have created several links to open either WEBGUI i.e to open various customized TCODES in SAP-Bi or other queries. BAsicaly its a work bench sort of thing from where we can access various tools developed for client. I am using below mentioned HTML code:

Please help me by providing the exact syntax. It would help to resolve my issue. I have tried couple of things but they are not working.

There is a parameter on the web template that should be set..
it is
Open dialogs in new window - set this to either automatic or "Open Window X"
or add this to your template properties list:
<param name="ENABLE_OPEN_WINDOW" value="X"/>

I have implemented an application & integrated in EP. In my view i have provided a link on click of which i should be able to open a separate url in a new window.
Again, I need to pass some url parameters which should not be visible in the url string when i am opening that url in new window.

First u have to create outbound plug in interfaceview
1)Open the node WebDynpro -
> Web Dynpro Components -
> <ComponentName> -
> Component Interface -
> Interface Views in that click <interfacename> interface view .
2) Select the Plugs tab in the Plugs area.
3)Choose New next to the outbound plug table.create new outbound plug.for example,Name GotoUrl, and choose Type Exit Plug.
4)Select the new outbound plug GotoUrl and choose New next to the parameter table.taEnter the name Url datatype as STRING.
5)Open the view in the View Designer and select the Properties tab. Choose Add next to the Required Controllers table and add the <interface name>InterfaceView

At least once a day on my work PC Desktop I will type in Yahoo.com or Amazon.com or any other valid popular website and all of a sudden I get the "Security Exception" error message and when I select to confirm it I then get:
"Invalid URL

At that point I cannot access that website at all. Then I have to clear all history and restart my computer, at least once a day and hope it works. I've scanned the support forum and I have done everything they suggest: disabled all add-ons (not that I even have any), reset Firefox, restart in safe-mode. Nothing works, it's very frustrating. It completely interrupts my workday. HELP!!

Hmmm, there are some issues on certain sites caused by the new Autofill feature that suggests a URL in the address bar. When this happens, are you pressing Enter to accept a suggestion?

How to scedule URL's in Windows server.

Hi All,
I really need an urgent help.
We have more than 5 web application running in IIS.Most of them are ASP.Net applications and 1 is Cold fusion application.
There is a facility in cold fusion Administration to schedule the URLs.We are using the same facility for schedule purpose(15 URL are scheduled).
But now we need to get rid of cold fusion.
Is there any way to schedule the URL's in windows server?

I used to be able to access a certain website I goto almost everyday, by just finding the name in google search and clicking on the link found. Now for the past few days everytime I click on the link, I get this message:

Organisation specific Submit Request Window

Hi,
In my project I am looking for making the Submit Request Window Organization specific. The issue is as below:
1. We have two Organizations in Oracle Applications say A and B.
2. All the responsibilities are created seperately for each organisation
e.g Recievables Manager Org A
Recievables Manager Org B
Both responsibilities are exactly same. We have make them org specific by setting the 'MO: Operating Unit' and 'GL:Set of Book' profile options.
3. Now whenever I log into the Recievables Manager Org A and find the requests I given for this responsibility, it shows the requests submitted for both the organization.
This make it very confusing for user to find weather they have submitted the request or not.
Can you please let me know weather I can set any profile or option so that whenever I find the requests submitted, I get the requests submitted by user for this responsibility only. This will solve my purpose.

Problem with changing URL within Safari window using AppleScript

hey everyone,
I'm currently trying to write a script that will open Safari, then change the URL within that same Safari window, and then quit Safari. However, I'm currently having a few problems:
1) Sometimes two Safari windows will open. One will go to what I'm guessing is the default homepage, and the other will go to Google.
2) I cannot figure out or find a way to change the URL within that window using AppleScript.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to go about doing these things? I'm pretty new to AppleScript, so if what code I already have is poorly written, please let me know. Thanks!

Transaction launcher: open URL in new window

Dear all,
I know many threads have already been posted about "stateful URL" created with transaction launcher, that open a new browser window AND navigate to an empty screen with the following text (which is more than useless):
"The requested page has been opened in a new window, please press back button to go back to the last page."
Carsteen gave some useful hints already in the following thread:

But maybe someone found something new since then... At the moment I'm thinking about "simulating" a clic on the BACK button (like mentioned in this useless message), with something like :

history->go_back( ).

I assume that since then you have found a way to fix your issue, but as the post is not answered I can tell you that SAP has taken into account this point in SAP 702 EHP1, with a new attribute in the customizing of the transaction launcher called "Keep Work area" :
Keep Work Area When Opening Launch Transaction in New Window
This indicator defines whether the work area content is kept when you open a launch transaction in a new window.
Use
If this indicator is not set and a launch transaction opens in a new window, then the main window loads the base page of the transaction launcher into the work area.
If this indicator is set and a launch transaction opens in a new window, then the main window keeps its current content in the work area.
Dependencies
This indicator is only evaluated if you have also set the indicator for using a new window.
