URL window has disappeared

I am using firefox. The URL window where I type in addresses is no longer there. I can still use bookmarks and also google and find websites that way. However, I want to type in addresses also. How do I get it back?
Also, I have safari on my dock. I try to delete it by putting it in the trash but it refuses. Any ideas? I don't use it at all.

In firefox, have you tried clicking on the view menu. under the view menu there is a sub menu called toolbars. Under toolbars there is an option the navigation toolbar. It should be checked. if it's not, it would explain why you have no address bar.
if navigation toolbar is checked, chose "customize.." a new box will drop down from the firefox window called "you can add and remove items by dragging to or from the toolbars." click the "restore default set" button. then click the done button.

Don't know the name of it but a toolbar at the top of the window has disappeared after I restarted Firefox. It contained add-ons such as Download Helper and I don't know how to get it back. Please help. Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry I meant the "Save Complete" add-on, not Download Helper.

Be sure "Add-on Bar" is checked (click on "Add-on Bar" to check or un-check)

Location window has disappeared

Recently, there has been a change in my Safari window. The Location bar (where the URL and Google search windows are) has disappeared. I have found that if I go to File/Open Location... the Location bar reappears, but only for that window.
I must have hit some keystroke combination that changed a Preference to not show this bar. I have gone through the normal Safari preferences and can't find anything that will change this. Can you help me to fix this permanently?

Does Safari - View - Show Toolbar restore it ?
If not, open Customize Toolbar from the same menu & drag it back in.
The shortcut to show/hide is Command |

How to open Viewer from other apps? - App 'URL Scheme' has disappeared from Viewer Builder!

The 'URL Scheme' option in the Viewer Builder did let me to specify a url that made other apps open my viewer. But this option has disappeared from the newer version of Viewer Builder. So. How do I do now to let other apps open my viewer?

Is there a spacial reason that the URL scheme option was taken away from ordinary Multi-issue viewers? It was there in earlier version. I'll explain our situation:
Our client want to publish corporate information; annual reports etc, with DPS. Not really magazines or newspapers you subscribe to.
We are making another app where they publish news articles, videos etc. In that app, we want to have a link which opens the viewer with their publications.
To make this simple thing work, we have to create a 'subscription' to content which is not relly good for subscribing (it is free and announced with push anyway). We also have to tell the client to create Privacy Policys etc for this. A lot of hassle for something we do not really want.
Any chance that this option will come back in v19?

My search or URL bar has disappeared, what do I do to get it back

I had used a click and move method to add to favorites and my URL / search bar has disappeared how do I get it back. I have updated all soft ware. If I open a new user on my computer it is ther but not in the main user area.

From the drop down drag the default set into the Toolbar.

The search box in top right hand corner of the firefox window has disappeared.

Search box has just disappeared. Everything else seems to be as per normal. Don't know what I did to make it disappear but it has and I can't figure out how to get it back.

Windows has Disappeared in Lion

Last night I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion.
Now my Windows 7 Ultimate partition in Bootcamp is unavailable. I don't get the option to launch into Windows when I start up and the partition isn't showing in the Disk Utility. Disk Utility shows my 500 Gb Macintosh HD with only 380 Gb available, so I guess the 100 Gb Windows partition is still there, I just can't access or boot it - see attached pic.
I have used Bootcamp Assistant to download the Bootcamp 4 drivers for Windows and have burnt them to a disk but since I can't launch Windows, they aren't much use.
Please offer simple advice in step by step terms.

Just realised the error of my ways!
380 Gb available means 120 Gb has been used, so clearly my Windows partition is no more.
Now why can't I get Bootcamp to load it?

My Downloads window has disappeared, and I can't get it back

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, then I tried deleting downloads.sqlite, but it gets recreated when I restart Firefox. Apparently the downloads database is stored somewhere else that I must also delete, but I don't know where. I'm assuming that deleting that will solve the problem, though perhaps there is some other problem.

This does not help. The checkbox is checked. The Downloads window is listed in the list of windows in the Windows menu, though it isn't shown in the set of windows displayed by Exposé when I display only the Firefox windows. Somehow it seems to exist as a non-appearing window.

My audio adjustments windows has disappeared?!

I haven't used iMovie '08 in a while (since before I installed snow leopard)
I opened it up to edit some clips together and add a nice track to it. When i clicked on the audio adjustments button the black window that usually hovers didn't open up, all that shows up is a red line with a dot on it.
please help!
i really need to be able to adjust the volume of the track and of the clips at different points in my video.

Event button within the properties window has disappeared

I am new to Visual Studio, I am unable to view the Events button on the Properties window when my controls are placed on the Master page.
Can anyone please advise how to enable the Events button.
I am able to view the Events button sometimes when I can click on the control form the designer.

The Messages chat window has disappeared

Ive tried closing it, reinstalling it, restarting the computer, showing all windows and nothing will bring it back. Anyone got any ideas?

So you are saying that the Window listed in the Window Menu with the CMD (⌘) and 0 (Zero) keys is not on Show ?
Did you have it On Show and ther "Front" window when using CMD (⌘) + W together ?
This close the selected (front) window. (See Also File Menu > Close Window)
Does CMD (⌘) + N keys together bring it back (New Message for File Menu) ?

I was adjusting the size/ratio of the Log and Transfer "Browse Area" and it diaappeared. Now I can't get it back and I cannot see my clips that are on the P2 Cards.

Unlike Photoshop in Illustrator you have to double click the Fill or Stroke Colour icon in the main Tools panel or the Colour panel in order to open the Colour Picker dialog.
That could be the issue you are encountering.

Itunes window has disappeared since buying ipod touch

My itunes will not show up. I bought an ipod touch, it worked fine for a week, I have downloaded again itunes, but can't get itunes to show.
