US Bank mobile deposit

US Bank has warnings that to do an iphone/photo/mobile deposit of a check, it will be "up to .50 charge". I questioned the gal at my branch and she said yep. I was in disbelief. I had thus far only deposited in the branch in my grocery store, but today I went to the grocery store and left my check to deposit at home. I thought I'd need to head back, but I decided that even though it pains me greatly, I'd rather pay the .50 than go back to the store/bank. I did it, and I don't think I got charged (they do only make $200 available immediately, but I don't run a lot through the account so I can't fault them for that...luckily that worked ok for my current need). Maybe the charge will show up later when the rest of my deposit is avail? Have others been charged a fee for mobile deposit with US Bank (or any other bank for that matter) in recent times?

The $0.50 charge will show up. Always does on mine. Figured I can't drive to the bank for the amount of the charge and the time it takes to drive to the bank. Have another bank that charges $1.00 so it is more than one bank.

Is anyone having problems making a mobile deposit with the Tab 2?

I upgraded to a Tab 2 from my original. My original Tab was able to make mobile deposits to Chase but the upgraded is saying incompatible camera. Went through a bunch of steps with Chase over the phone and they said it should work but had no help for me. Does anyone know if I need to set my settings to something in particular? I have it on auto focus with camera facing out and it still does not work. I love my mobile deposits on my old Tab and will be very disappointed if I can't do now. Any help is appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing with your mobile banking. We definitely want to do all we can to get you back up and running!
With third party applications like these, it sounds like you have taken all the necessary steps to work to resolve this. My additional suggestions would be to try uninstalling and reinstalling the application itself. If that does not fix it, you can visit the Google Play Store and submit feedback to the developer of the application itself.

CAMERA WON'T WORK IN MOBILE DEPOSIT AFTER UPGRADING TO IOS

I have 2 credit union apps that I use for mobile deposits. Neither works correctly now after upgrading to iOS8.

Finally found a fix,
In Settings || Sharing ||
Select
Remote Management
Changed
Allow Access from All Users to Selected Users
Changed Options (selected them all just to make sure it worked)
Restarted!

My new I Phone 6 will not clearly take a photo of checks I am trying to deposit with my mobile app. I give the same check to my husband and he successfully takes a photo with his Droid. Embarrassing. Is there some setting that I have not enabled?

I am attempting to use my banking mobile device. Each time I take a photo of a check for deposit, it says it cannot read it. I have been successful a few times, but only after numerous attempts. I give the same check to my husband and, using his Droid phone, he takes the photo and it is accepted the first time. I use a dark background, have a steady hand, and include all of the check in the frame as directed. It's so embarrassing. Is there some adjustment I need to make?
I love the camera on this phone. It is sharp and the color is great. I don't understand why this application is so difficult. Anyone else have this problem? There is no problem with my banks' mobile banking. If there was, my husband would have a problem also. Thanks!

Tap on the screen to get the camera to autofocus. If the image looks clear to you, but the app isn't accepting it, it's a problem with the app. Delete it and reinstall it. If the issue persists, contact the app developer.

Is there a specific reason why can't I deposit from a "Multi-currency" cash account to a "specific (i.e., USD)" cash account using the Banking> Deposits> Deposit module.

Same error message is appeared in 8.81 PL10. So this is not due to PL. If you select other than local currency at deposit currency, this error appears.

Cheque Deposit

We have an issue for Bank Deposits. We are using T Code FF68 for deposting cheques on Mass. The system should pass the following entries
Bank Cheque Deposit A/c Dr
To Customer A/c
In the Posting keys for cheque deposit, I have specified for IN91 the posting key as 40 for Account Modifier IN_CHQ_DEP and for the credit side i have assigned the posting key 15. I have assigned the Posting Type as 3. Now, while posting the transaction FF68, system is not generating any accounting entry and is giving an error in the log. Pls suggest

Please concentrate on posting type and document type at the end of the screen.
In addition make sure all relevant bank statement settings are completed.
I would suggest you post in batch and foreground. You will come to know what would be the error.

Deposit Slip - Customer vs Payee name

Hi,
Before creating a Crystal template I thought I'd double-check here... the PLD template doesn't seem to allow it to be customized so that the "Customer" name indicated on the deposit form is the actual Payee indicated in the Incoming Payment transaction (and on the cheque). The deposit slip points to the BP Name field but I did not see in the table listing the option of getting Incoming Payment or the default PayTo/Bill To code from Business Partner.
If the Customer/BP Name is ABC Company but the Payee selected in the Incoming Payment record is XYZ Company, XYZ needs to be indicated on the Deposit Slip to match up with the cheque attached to the slip for the bank to deposit it. Currently it will print ABC Company.
If someone knows how this can be done in PLD, that would be much appreciated.

So far only 1 payee/Bill To on a customer record - but the name is different than the BP Name.
SBO version is 2007A SP01 PL7.
Not sure what you mean by "a different PLD just for this purpose". If you are able to create one from scratch, that would be nice to know as I have not been able to figure that out.

Scanning issue with my bank

I used to be able to scan checks to my bank for deposit. I now get a message that I have duplex capablility and I should check with HP. It will not scan to my bank site. I am able to scan other documents PDF or JPG..and save them, but working from my bank site it will not even begin to scan. I selected Twain and USB
I have and HP 8620 All in One. My operating system is Windows 7.

Truthfully, because all other scan functions work, the issue is not with the printer or HP Software. They only thin I can think to suggest is to contact the Banks web page support team, or the bank themselves.

Can any one please help me in adapters which suits for the following channels in SAP Banking.

SAP Banking Services solution related to SOA and is newest solution for banking from SAP. There loans management is built on the same base as Deposits. CML and classic DM (up to 4.0 release) is from older SAP Banking package.
CMS as far as I see has not been rebuilt so much and should be more or less the same as older release on ECC6 platform.

Apps w/ in-app camera crash when taking photo

Using an iPhone 4S w/ iOS 6.1.3
Lately I've noticed that I am unable to take a photo in any app that has an in-app camera. As soon as I press the "shutter" button, the apps crash. This has happened with VSCOCam, Instagram*, and my mobile banking app (when trying to take a photo of a check for Mobile Deposit).
However, the native iPhone camera is behaving normally, with no issues.
Anyone else having this issue, or any idea how to fix this?

* = This is also happening within Instagram when I choose to use a photo from my camera roll. I crop it, apply an effect, and as soon as I touch "Done" the app crashes.

Is a TWAIN driver included in the Phtosmart All-in-One 6525 printer driver download?

I am trying to use the new mobile deposit my bank recenly offered,however it requires a TWAIN driver. I downloaded the drivers under e6525 however I still am not able to participate in the service as my printer doesn't display in the available printers drop-down (the reason provided is does not support a TWAIN driver).

Hi Jodi,
You can verify its installed by going to the following location
C:\Windows - if you scroll through you will see the twain_32 folder. If that folder is missing, then you can't scan with the HP software, and also from the sounds of it your banks. Just verify its there. Typically will be created/updated during installation.
You can also run the PSDR, fix scanning issue and it will list the twain driver.

I can't understand apple teminology - what is the difference between a keychain and a password - why does my mac keep asking me to type in the keychain - I don't know what it is or when it was created!!!

I can;t understand the apple terminology - what is a keychain and how is it different to password? When I set a new password it keeps asking me for the login keychain. None of my passwords work for it and I don't know when it would have been created.

A "keychain" is a secure database in which passwords are stored in an encrypted format to prevent unauthorized discovery of your passwords. Think of it like a bank safe deposit box in which you can safely store your passwords.
If you have a problem with your keychain then perhaps you have not changed the passwords correctly or need to repair your keychain. You might try:
Assuming that you are using a recent build of OS X, go to /Applications/Utilities and launch the app called Keychain Access. Go to the Window pulldown menu and select "Keychain First Aid". Enter your password, set the radio button to "Repair", and click "Start".

A few days into having the Z10- MY pros/cons/thoughts/concerns/praises/etc....

*Let me preface this by saying I just want to lay it all out on the table- you may take it with a grain of salt, or feel free to comment!*
I have been a very loyal blackberry customer since 2007- I've had their curves, bolds, and torches, and I currently own the Torch 9810. Blackberry has been a fantastic company, and I've always loved owning a blackberry. I was EXTREMELY excited when I found out that they were releasing a new operating system as well as two phones, so, on the 22nd, when AT&T released the Z10, I went and bought it outright so that I could play around with the OS. Man on man, can I say how brilliant Blackberry has done with their new line of phones. The Z10 is sleek, sexy, quick, and unlike anything out there. I played around with it for quite some time, and the following are things that I've thought about it:
Good things/good features/wow effect:
- huge, bright, and wonderful screen
- quick interface and smooth OS
- loved being able to access the camera without having to go into the phone
- THE CAMERA!! WOW As all BB users can tell you, it is 100fold better; it's quick, it takes crisp and clear pictures, and comes with image enhancements, it's easy to use, and there are so many options within the camera application.
- I was able to transfer my texts, calender, contacts, and memos from OS7 to OS10
- I love being able to see my calender events on the 'lock screen'
- the HUB is quite a cool feature that consolidates many things
- call quality is great!
- the virtual keyboard is the best out there
- the 'sleep mode' screen is really awesome- the one that shows the clock, and alarm settings
- cool little features like when you want to power off the phone, and it prompts you to hold down the power button for 3 seconds
- NOT HAVING TO DO A BAT PULL EVERY TIME YOU DOWNLOADED A NEW APP!
- being able to folder up items on the home screen
- media sharing!!! connecting to a TV or PC or other DLNA supported devices
*this list isn't a fully extensive list, but these are the things I could think of right away*
Concerns/not so good things/problems/things I actually miss from OS7:
- Physical keyboard (YES, I know- the Q10 will be coming out soon... anyone know an official AT&T date???)
- back button and trackball/pad (that was blackberry classic!!)
- being able to determine how long the vibrate for text/bbm/emails/phone calls/etc
- APPS, APPS, APPS.... I just don't understand why so many apps from OS7 aren't there!! (BBuzz, Skype, Point, Shazam, Google Maps [not the blackberry version, but the regular google maps], and BBVA Compass Bank mobile banking were the ones that I HAD, but no longer would have on the Z10) <-- when developers ask what apps people want, well... simple.. GO LOOK AT WHAT iPhone IS DOING!
- facebook SUCKS on the new OS, and, well, it sucked on OS7 too, which is why I only used the 'mobile site'... now the BB10 mobile site sucks!! :/// I've only been able to check facebook from my computer except when I get updates!
- ACTIVE FRAMES!! WTF is that??? I had to purchase an LED/vibrate notifications app, but it only works if it's running in the active frames........ hate that... with a passion
- phone contacts and facebook contacts are merged and i hate that too!!! Ive tried all different ways to no avail to get that option off
- text messages, BBM, contacts, and 'reminders' lag
- the HUB and having everything consolidated... not a fan of that at all. I want email with email, texts with texts, and facebook with facebook. Maybe I'm paranoid, but consolidation scares me
- battery life is NOT very good, even though they tout the battery being the biggest yet
- I miss the way photos were categorized with BB7, and the whole media application was better on 7
- what happened to voice notes and voice notes recorder??
- I wish the 'memo pad' was back instead of it being called 'reminders' on BB10
- I feel like BB7 was just easier to use then BB10
- gestures, albeit being an awesome feature, is really hard to get used to. I want the back button and trackpad back!! made life SO much easier
*this too isn't a fully extensive list, BUT, because of most of these things, I am returning the Z10 tomorrow.*
I wish Blackberry would contact me and talk with me about the good/bad/neg/pos things about the new Z10!! There are some amazing updates and features, but I feel BB may have overreached a bit on a few things.
Phew! I just needed to vent and get all of that out there.
Let me end by saying that Blackberry has surly come around and made a dramatic turn around in the way they build phones. The phone itself is amazing, and there are great things about it. Unfortunately, MY cons have outweighed the pros right now- I just hope things get even better. BLACKBERRY- CONTACT ME AND TALK WITH ME....
