This is the last email received from Reader Store on how to migrate with a personal link:

On March 20, 2014, Sony's Reader Store closed and we are now transferring customers to Kobo, where you can continue to access and read the eBooks you purchased from Reader Store.
We are fully committed to helping you through this exciting transition to Kobo. With the Kobo Store, you'll have more than 4 million of the world's best eBooks, magazines, comics, and kids' titles at your fingertips.
You can transfer your library to Kobo by following these 2 simple steps:
1. Click on the personalized, unique link below. Please note that this link is for your library only and should not be shared with anyone else.

2. Click "Get Started," and then sign in with an existing Kobo account or create a new Kobo account.

Remember, as long as you complete this process by May 31, 2014, any remaining Reader Store credits you have in your account will also transfer to your Kobo account. Sony's Reader for PC/MAC software has been updated to link directly to the Kobo Store. You will now be able to purchase, download, read and transfer Kobo eBooks to your Sony Reader via USB. An initial update for the PRS-T1, PRS-T2 and PRS-T3 Reader devices is expected in April, with additional purchase functionality coming in late May.
This will be the last communication from Sony regarding the transfer to Kobo. In the future, you may receive reminder notices from Kobo to transfer your library if you haven't completed the process. You may opt out of the Kobo service messages at any time.

Where does Acrobat Reader store its print preferences?

I'm trying to print a file directly with no human interaction using Acrobat Reader. To do such, I'm using the command line arguments "acrord32.exe /t filename \\printerlocation\printer".
Printing works just fine except for one detail: some of my pdf files need printing with "Auto Rotate and Center" checked and "Page Scaling" to "None", while others need "Auto Rotate and Center" unchecked and "Page Scaling" to "Fit to Printable Area"...
I've realised that Acrobat Reader stores its last selected preferences (if you close Acrobat and re-open it, these two settings are still set as they were the last time you closed Acrobat) but the question is... where?!
I've noticed the bprintAutoRotate and the bprintExpandToFit keys in the registry under (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\8.0\AVGeneral) and they even change their values whenever I change the options in Reader and close the application, but changing them through my application seems to have no effect - I see the values changing in the registry but Acrobat still prints (and displays if I open the print preferences dialog) the last settings it had memorized before I changed them in my application...
Is there any other location where Acrobat stores these printing preferences? Is there a way to change these settings through the windows registry or any other configuration file(s)?!
By the way, I'm using Acrobat Reader 8.1.3.

Hi,
I am from Turkey and I bought my reader from USA but unfortunately I cannot buy any books from reader store because my credit card address and number belongs to Turkey and in order to be able to buy I should use an American card and address. It is a really big issue for me. Why don't you have a paypal option in your store? Please, add a new payment method for your international customers.

Settings>General>AutoLock>Never. Now it will not sleep at all so change it back when you are done reading.

Basically, you can't read DRM-protected iBooks on the MBP at this point. But you may do something with the free ones. Look to the right of your OP; under "More Like This" there are several threads on the topic, with various possible solutions, eg, Calibre.

Using 'merge' to compare sequential rows from SQL causes "invalid attempt to call Read when reader is closed"

The use case is each row logs a cumulative data point, like an odometer, and I need to be able to subtract a previous row from a following row in order to see the change between two rows.
I can do this if I create a Power Query "From Table," but if I do the same thing when the data source is SQL, I get an error message "invalid attempt to call Read when reader is closed".
Given a trivial data table, this works:

Please use "send a frown" to report the bug so we can fix it. Is the data very big? The simplest workaround is likely to be the use of "Table.Buffer" to buffer the table locally before doing this work; that will cause us to stop any
attempt to do the processing on the server. If the table is very big, though, this isn't an attractive approach.

Weblogic 8.1 SP 6 throws Read channel closed when sending SOAP message

I am using Weblogic8.1 SP6 & Axis1 to send SOAP message through RPC call using SSL. This is working intermittently.
I use WLSSLAdapter to set up the SSL, and some properties I set:

Download install the OS X Mountain Lion Update v10.8.4 (Combo)
The combo installs any missing system files and it's ok to do this even though your Mac already has v10.8.4 installed.
Then try the App Store.
Doubtful it's a virus causing the App Store to crash but to avoid malware, make sure Gatekeeper is enabled.
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Select: Mac App Store and identified developers
If that area is greyed out, click the padlock icon to make changes. You may be prompted for your admin password before proceeding.

My first step would be to get rid of "Norton protection". Boot from your OS 10.6 disc, navigate through your hard drivve and trash anything that is Norton. Empty the trash.
Next, run Disk Utility and ask it to repair the hard drive.

BEA-380000: General runtime error: Read channel closed - intermittent

I am encountering this error code intermittently. My production has been live from past 20 months and I see this error very recently and its like once a week.
I doubt if this has something to do with the network and as this is very generic error(BEA-380000) I am not able to find any pointers on this error.

How are you invoking local proxy from HTTP proxy (using route node or service callout)? Is local proxy calling another proxy/business service? Do you have fault handling implemented?
Can you also check server log to figure out any additional error information (like stacktrace)?

Why can't I read EPub files on my Kobo Touch?

I have been successfully downloading and reading EPub files on my Kobo Touch for months now. However, after the recent upgrade to the Touch I have been having some challenges. I follow the same procedure as always to download library books to ADE and then drag and drop the file to the KoboeReader icon in the ADE screen. ADE says the file has transfered and the book shows in the Kobo library in ADE. When I disconnect my eReader and turn it on the books do not appear on the Touch. Any suggestions?
Note: I did try de-authorizing and re-authorizing my Touch and it didn't correct the problem.

Sorry. I think you misread me. I know you said the software upgrade messed me up and I agree. It was Kobo Support who said the ebook/library book that caused the problem. When I called Kobo Support to see if they had a fix they told me it was my library's problem. I kept going back to the software upgrade and all the trouble shooting I had done - including the paperclip in the back - but the tech just kept getting me to do the same things over and over. You were spot on that they would try to place the blame on something other than their upgrade but they didn't blame ADE. The tech didn't have any new suggestions . I eventually gave up on her and took the device back to its like new settings, unintalled and reinstalled all the software on both my device and pc. It is working now but unfortunately I lost a couple of books. Thanks for your input.
