US-East VM is actually in Brazil?

I have set up a tiny windows VM in the East-US region but when the server comes up it has an IP address that geo-locates to Brazil. Also the traceroute to it looks like it may indeed not be in East-US as desired.
Any reason why my VM created in US-East would actually be provisioned in Brazil?
I got 191.238.50.170 for the IP address of the instance and a similar address when I tried it a second time. Both show in geo-IP tools as being from Brazil and the traceroute to it from a west-coast location seems high enough latency that it may
indeed be not on the East coast.
Thoughts? I was able to make a Linux VM in the east zone but when I make a tiny windows one, it goes to Brazil.

IPhone 2.0 - Maps doesn't work and Contacts is sluggish

Updated to 2.0 and installed the new MobileMe Update.
Maps doesn't show my position accurately. It shows I am 6 miles to the North East from my actual position and also can't find any locations when entered into Search or when an address is selected via the field in Contacts.
Also, since going over to Push Mail, Calendars and Contacts (I deleted my itools account and then logged into the MobileMe account), whenever I open up Contacts, it won't do anything for 10 seconds and then starts working normally.
Small note: I don't seem to be getting the E in the top left hand corner anymore. I get a square with a dot in it. What does this mean?
Any thoughts or suggestions?

The 2.0 map now claims I'm 6-7 miles SW of where I really am. I'm glad I'm not alone with the map bug, but I don't have the other problems you are describing.

According to nokia maps , half my city is on water

i'm using a 6110 navigator with the latest nokia maps for navigation around Alexandria, Egypt. according to nokia maps a great part of the city, although showing streets and names is on water. in other words the map design shows blue water underneath a great part of the city's costal line with streets and complete blocks of buildings shown to exist on water.
this disturbing visual problem exist in the newest egypt map "8.1 Mb". has anyone else noticed this???

I sent my N97 (RM-507) off to the NokiaUSA care center a few weeks ago for the GPS antenna shielding fix.
This past week I updated to v20 firmware, did a hard reset and reinstalled all applications from scratch, including the Maps for the USA.
I'm running Nokia Maps 3.01 09wk30 b02
and Maps data version 0.1.22.103
Testing the GPS this morning....outside, no obstructions, clear blue sky....I get 5-9 green bars on the satellite fix, but my position keeps jumping around (including the altitude per Locations) and is 30-40 yards EAST of my actual position relative to the map background.
Using the Search function to locate my actual numeric address, the Maps application puts that about 30-40 yards WEST of the background indication based on the map background.
Thus the total map accuracy is 60-80 yards off EAST/WEST in terms of displayed position versus numerical address!!!
For comparison, I ran a test using Google Maps and allowed it to use the N97's GPS. Not surprising, it located my position quickly and accurately within about 8-10 yards, though it did continuing moving a bit but never more than about 2-3 yards at a time.
I am running out of patience with Nokia. The N97 has been out since July 2009 and their Maps software and GPS drivers are probably the worst that I've ever seen in terms of accuracy and stability.
I hear of others using Garmin software on their N97, but until I'm certain beyond a shadow-of-a-doubt that the N97's GPS hardware is stable, accurate and dependable I really don't want to spend the extra money for a 3rd party program and I definitely won't be spending any money on Nokia Map navigation license.

I am using the HTTP-tool to get the body text from a website.
After upgrading LV 2014 to SP1 I now receive:

My code also works fine on another PC that does not have SP1 (but 2014).

The website I access is a public one, freely available in any browser. So I should not need authentication.
Obviously something changed going to SP1.

Well, I can see the site from here, though some of Google's automatic translation from Danish to English does sound a little ominous, like the story: "Police Control of Easter" -- which is actually a story about the police stepping up DUI drug and alcohol enforcement, not the police controlling Easter.
But on a serious note, I don't see an issue right off, though it does appear to be related to that one site. One more thought, does this happen with all the links on that site? It might be related to this one page.

5800xm can't install any QT-Based application

Hey.
Recently, I've found this cellphone lying around in my brother's house, with the screen broken. He said it was a great phone till the screen cracked out of nowhere (touch area intact, lcd glass intact), and he didn't bother fixing it, bought the **bleep** bitten fruit phone.
anyway, I brought it back to life two or three days ago. A new batt (actually, two - the normal battery and the clock's batt), a screen (cheap nowadays) and a lot of WD40 on the board, to flush out the oxidation. Had the v20 FW and I've updated it OTA to v60.0.003 (released 09-22-2011)
Phone is working great. Everything works as expected, but for some reason, I can't install QT applications (To be more exact, ANY application on Ovi store that says "Might download more than 12mb, wifi is required" or something). I've been told to do a hard-reset, which has been done in both ways: By code and by keypresses (Green + Red + Camera + turn on phone). The last one did make a difference: The "XpressMusic" and the hard key lights doesn't turn on anymore (I don't care, so don't worry). With a "fresh system", I couldn't install it either. Then I've been told to install one by one those dependencies that the Smart Installer does for us.
The culprit seems to be the PIPS, which doesn't install neither with a strong pray.
I've tried almost everything, I didn't try removing the SD Card and install it without, hard-reset without SD and SIM card (Seems like to me that it goes to a even freshier system this way) and select a different location (I'm selecting my actual place: Brazil). Other applications works fine.
So, what I'm supposed to do? They've told me to hack the phone to get a logfile from AMD or something, which would help me solving my issue on my own, but I'm too chicken for flashing a phone and all.

There was unfortunate problem with 5800 XpressMusic PR6 firmware but this firmware version is now being properly handled by Smart Installer and Qt application installations work again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

for STO, we have storage location to storage location transfer scenairo by use TCODE ME21N, but I don't know it can triger the Nota Fiscal or not , if it can ,how? under the country version
we will import some free goods but it also need to pay the tax under the Brazil law, how to do the MIRO and triger the Nota Fiscal for this case? thanks a lot

1) Create an import PO in ME21N with material price and all custom duty conditions (as you normally create). no need to put free tick indicator.
2) Process MIRO for goods and delivery costs simultaneously.
3) Maintain zero amount for goods item and actual values for the duties (Ensure selection of goods item including delivery cost items)
4) Save the LIV document
5) Check PO item history got updated with IR-L and DCIn. (IR-L will updated with zero amount)
6) Do MIGO w.r.t. IR document number.
7) GR FI document will get updated with the non-set off duty values only.

Can you change the ruler color of grey to be an actual color?

So in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, can you change the rulers to be something other then the boring grey. I mean can you change it to actual be a color? If yes, how? If no, Adobe really needs to implement this. I think to have the rulers be in a color would help greatly for visibility.

In my pages the shapes are green with a black line. Yo can change it by clicking on the format bar. See image. You can also change it in the Inspector palette > Graphic tab > Fill
You could create a document with all the shapes int the right colour and save as a document or template. Then you can use it by "copy and paste" the shapes into a new document

East West Keyswitches off by 1 octave in Logic Pro X

I am using East West Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Plus, Play, and Logic Pro X. The keyswitch notes indicated in the East West manual are one octave lower than the notes that actually trigger the articulations in Logic Pro. For example, the solo violin master keyswitch instrument lists the F0 key as the keyswitch for the half step trill articulation. However, in Logic Pro, F0 does not trigger anything, but F1 triggers the half step trill articulation. This is not an isolated incident, as I have tried several other articulations and the keyswitches that trigger those are all one octave higher than they should be. I could just put up with this, except that for the solo violin and other instruments, the keyswitch notes overlap with the regular notes, meaning the keyswitch notes are audible in my track. As a final note, my MIDI keyboard is able to utilize keyswitches correctly (i.e, when I play C0 on the keyboard, the C0 keyswitch is triggered in the Play window).
Is there an easy fix for this?

Not odd at all. The communication in question is between Logic and the plug in. There may even be a setting within the plug that is basically the same thing.

VZ Navigator and GPS Not working in East Texas

My phone and my wifes phone (both TB) are experiencing the gps outage in East Texas.
We live in Henderson, TX which geographically lies between Tyler and Carthage.
I have called Verizon repeatedly with little to no help so far. I have been told by customer support many times that Verizon does not support 3rd party gps apps like Google Maps or My Tracks; however, I'm not able to get VZ Navigator to work either.
After calling customer support and being reminded that they do not provide support for Google maps, the rep asked if I was able to use VZ Navigator. I quickly installed VZ Navigator while trying to communicate the real issues at work in our area of
Texas. Once VZ Navigator was installed, (yes, I agreed to the $10 per month) I opened the app to discover all the same issues. VZ Navigator doesn't get a gps fix. It just says, "Updating location..." and when you try to navigate to any destination from your current location, it says "Getting GPS..." until it returns with an error message. The error message reads "VZ Navigation is having trouble finding your current position. Please try again. (1001)
Once the 2nd level tech verified that I actually installed VZ Navigator and that was not able to make it work, she notated all I had to say about the gps issues and escalated the open ticket to a higher level engineer. She said I should get a call
tomorrow (05-16-2011).
She said the key to getting the issue escalated was VZ Navigator. It's not free. It's a Verizon product. She also stated that I can
stop the service once the issue is resolved. I encourage everyone living in East Texas with this issue to do the same. It's worth a shot!
I will keep everyone informed of my progress (or lack of) as time passes.
If anyone has a solution to the GPS outage in East Texas please post a reply.

I have always thought this was a GPS issue.. but i only use the free apps..    i complained enough to get 2 months credit for VZ Navigator..   guess what..   it uses the same gps chip in the phone and it doesn't work either. supprise supprise supprise.
How many weeks does it take?
As for Google updating a database..    in airplane mode, GPS still works...   or used to.. ...   i have done it many times.
Why does Google have to update something that works in airplane mode when all the transmitters in the phone are turned off? makes no sense at all..
fix your service or credit me something for the services you are not providing till you get them fixed!!!

I have a Script which is tagged to a Payment method in FBZP set up and the payment medium
program is RFFOBR_D.As desired it is triggering the Script and also the subroutines that are
within the script.But the problem is it is not transferring the data from RFFOBR_D into script.
ie if I had used &REGUH-VBLNR& in the script instead of the vblnr value it is having XXXXXX.The same value is getting passed to the subroutine within the script which is resulting in no data in the final output.
It seems it is due to the missing linkage between the driver program(RFFOBR_D) and the script.As I said earlier it is triggering the desired script(I had checked in script debugging) but I didn't get why the data is not getting flown into the script from RFFOBR_D.Is there anything else that needs to be checked regarding the linkage and other reasons on why the data is not getting flown into the script.Any suggestions on possible break-points where we can check.
Any possible reasons that you people can highlight on why data is getting as XXXXX in the script.

If I put a break point at the FM write_form I am seeing the below loop where in it is looping all the windows of the script in the below mentioned standard program.But when I debug it using F5 I am not finding any data which can be interpreted.
Do anyone here can share any hints on how the code within this write_form can be interpreted or any sap internal table where the actual data from rffobr_d will get moved to before writing it in the script.
