  • How can we reject a Sales order after first Down payment invoice for Italy?

    Hello,
As a legal requirement in Italy the Down paymenty have to be transformed into real invoices, another legal requirement is that an invoice cannot be cancelled it has to reversed by a credit memo.
I would like to know in this context how we can reject a sales order line once a Down payment invoice has been emitted.
When I do enter a reason for rejection in the sales order line I receive the message : V1036: Subsequent documenst exist for item XXX and then V2432 Cancellation not possible. Down payment request already created.
I can create a down payment credit memo in order to cancel the down payment invoice but how can I get rid of my SD requirement in MD04 if I cannot reject the sales order line?

    Hello,
have you tried using a recjection code which is not relevant for billing?

  • Sales order status with down payment requests.

Due to our requeriments, all the invoices created from a sales order has down payment request as billing category.
The problem is that the sales order status continues as "Being processed" instead of completed.
Is there any customising that makes the sales order status as completed when the down payment request is created for all the sales order value?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
this is the correct behaviour of the system: you have an item of 100; in the billing plan if you want to manage downpayment you will have, let's say two items:
    10 for the downpayment
    100 for the final invoice.
The system proposes the amount you defined for the downpayment and the total amount for the final invoice.
Then you will have to bill the downpayment invoice, release it into accounting and clear it. If you will do this steps correctly, when you create the final invoice the system will show you:
    invoice amount 100
    advance payment -10
    net value = 90.
    Hope to be useful..
    Best regards,
    Andrea

  • Get list of related Down Payment Invoices to Delivery note

    Hi all,
I would like some tips on how to get the "Open Amount" on any "open" deliveries in B1. the scenario here is that some sales order may have Down Payment Invoices (DPI)  associated with them. I dont seem to find any "direct links" between DPI's and Deliveries once the sales orders are converted to Delivery notes.
The only option I can think of at this time is to write a query that will link the following:
Delivery Rows BaseEntry (DLN1.BaseEntry) >> Sales order Rows DocEntry (RDR1.DocEntry) >> DPI header table (ODPI)
This scenario would break if there are lines on the delivery that originated from seprate orders.
Any help you can provide is appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
There is no "direct links" between DPI's and Deliveries. You can link them through Sales Order.
    Thanks,

  • Creation of A/R Down Payment Invoice  based on Sales Order not logical

When creating a A/R Down Payment Invoice based on a Sales Order you
have the option to create multible ones. Which by itself could be
usefull to create one of 50 % for a certain day and decide they need to
pay another 25 % at a later date.
But SBO does not track what already have been posted. Therefore you can
create a sum more then a 100% without warning or blockage.
    Tested this in SBO 2007 A SP:00 PL:00
    Scenario:
    Sales - AR>Sales Order
Create and post a Sales Order
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 40%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 100%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 70%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Making the total for the Sales Order 210% worth of Down Payment
Invoices without warning/blocking. I would expected that you would only
be able to set the rest sum %. For instance first scenario I entered
60% therefore setting the second Down Payment Invoice to a max of 40%
Untill you have used up the 100% and you cannot select the Sales Order
    in question..
If multible users do the same work, SBO doesn't show that it has
already been done. Same if you forgot you already created it you can
still create one. Plus sometimes it will happenyou create the Down
Payment Invoice and not paying attention you create the first one with
a 100% and later with the intended percentage..

    Hello Petronella,
you are right that B1 is not checking the total value of DP created from the Sales Order.
The logic and checking procedure here is only between Sales Order -> Delivery/Invoice.
DP Invoice is considered as transaction related to document the receipt of the money (parallel to the sales process). Between the moment of basing of DP to Sales Order it is still possibility to adjust Sales Order as there is no posting behind Sales Order.
The question is what would be a checking  procedure in case that on Sales Order there is based Delivery and DP? What would be the system priority to take into a consideration?

  • AR down Payment invoice

    Hello Experts
I did a sales order say for 500000. i selected the same in AR down payment invoice.By default in DPM it is 100%.i did not changed that.Through payment means i received 200000 .Now the balance due is 300000 down payment.in AR invoice i selected the sales order. Now AR invoice shows the balance due as 300000(500000-200000).Doucment was saved. But now customer balance is duplicated ie now the balance is 300000 +300000=600000
Why is this happening ?am i missing any setting?
    Manoj

    Hi Manoj K Tharakan,
The A/R Downpayment Invoice at 100% and A/R Invoice would both debit a receivable account which duplicates the balance due.
The best way to prevent these to happen in the future is NEVER to set your DP 100% of the invoice amount cause this will result to creating an entry 100% of the invoice. Thus create A/R DP invoice with only the amount for downpayment. So in your case, you should have set your A/R downpayment invoice to 200000 only, so that when you apply the DP, it will decrease the invoice amount.
    Hope this helps. Thanks!

  • Transfer of sales orders from one plant to another

    Dear all,
    My requirement is as follows:
I have created some 500 sales orders (open) in one sales org+plant.
Now due to plant shifting to other area, I want to transfer all the above open sales orders to another sales org+plant.
One option is to create them manually. But that is time consuming and prone to errors.
Second option is to upload thru LSMW. That too is very tedious.
Third option is to extend/assign new plant to the old sales area and change the plant in the orders. But I want in the new sales org + new plant.
Is there any other option by which I can transfer the above sales orders from one plant to another?
    Regards
    SAPshed

    Hi SAPshed,
The problem is not the change of plant, which is standard functionality, but the change of sales organization.
An awful lot of information depends on the Sales Organization: Company code (!!), customers, materials, prices, profit center, etc.
SAP does not even admit creating a sales order in a Sales Organization A with reference to a sales order with a sales organization B.
IMHO your best option is to try to maintain the current Sales Orders with the current Sales Organization and change the Sales Order in VA02 (your third option).
If you are absolutely sure that all materials and customers are created for the new Sales Area in the same way and that prices (discounts) are the same, you might want to do a direct update to VBAK table to change the Sales Organization (nasty!), but be prepared for the consequences (no SAP support in case of problems, you are on your own).
Therefore if you insist on a different Sales Organization, then option 2) will be your best best.
    Best Regards,
    Franck
P.S. IMHO it is Best Practice to have a unique Sales Organization / Company Code.

  • Transfer sales orders from one compnay code to another

    Hi
Is it possible to transfer pending sales order from one company code to another? if yes please let me know complete procedure.
    thanks
    Sanjay

    Hi,
You cannot transfer the sales order like this.If your company is getting closed then you can keep a deadline date before which you can close all the open orders and after that you can start creating the orders in the new company code.
If your delivery date is beyond the deadline date then you can reject the sales orders and create them with new G/L accounts from the new company code.
For this, you have to assign your sales organisation to the new company code.
    Reward points if it helps.
    Regards
    Karan

  • Sales orders from one salesorg. to another in same ssystem

    Hi Guys,
I got a requirement like we need to convert or recreate sales orders from one sales organization to another sales organization in the same system without having any impact on the existing system.
Any one have idea how to do it and is there any standard program to do this? is there any standard procedure for that>?
    Thanks in advance.
    Ram sri

    Hi Ramgopal,
I never had this scenario, but the main step would be
Define 2 logical systems: a sender and a receiver
Assign one of them to the client
    Set up distribution model
    Generate partner profiles
Set up converter (not filter!) /Application Link Enabling (ALE)-> Modelling and Implementing Business Processes-> Converting Data Between Sender and Receiver
Here you can set up conversion rule for your sales org field.
All of this step could be done in transaction SALE.

  • Two sales order generated, one during quotation release & other during RRB

    Hi All,
I have configured some of CS functionalities.
    But the problem is:
When I accept qtn in IW32, system creates a sales order.
When I do RRB, against the same service order in DP90, the system creates one more sales order.
During RRB in DP90, if I put first sales order that was created automatically during qtn acceptance, the system says that this sales order does not have DIP. (even if it is created automatically during qtn acceptance in IW32)
Please let me know the right process.
In my understanding, it is not correct to have two sales orders for one job.
Also the system allows to create billing documents for both the sales orders. This is also a problem.

ANYONE CAN HELP TO RESOLVE THIS?

  • Can't combine Sales Orders into One Delivery

A customer has started sending us 850's for their products.  Each 850 creates a new Sales Order from the ORDERS IDoc.
We can not combine two different Sales Orders into one Delivery even if all the data is identical other than the Order Number itself.  The Error Message is VL067.
The log reveals that the only data difference is the Address number.  Each time a new Sales Order is built SAP creates a new Address Number even though the customer is the same, and then it won't let you combine those two Sales Orders into one Delivery because the Adderss Number is different.
We either need to make SAP stop creating a new Address for the same Customer, or we need to make SAP ignore the difference in Address Number when combining them into one Delivery.
    Any ideas?

    Hello Shiva,
My apologies - I am too focused and forgot to say thank you for your tip.  I appreciate your time.
I have discovered that the address check is only made if the value of ADRDA in VBPA is B or E, which both mean that the address was manually entered - actually, it came in via IDoc.
Does anyone know how to control that value so it is not B or E?
    Thanks in advance.
