Usage of back button in shopping screen brings up the error in the screen,
In SRM shopping screen, when we use the "back" button on the Internet Explorer toolbar, it does not work, it brings up the error screen. Using the "back" button within the SRM window only occasionally works and if used near the end of an order it gives errors and all information inputted until you press back button is lost.
So, to resolve this issue, I mean when you press back button it should go to previous screen and should not give any error and also should not loose data in the screen.
Any suggestions in resolving this issue is very much apppreciable.

Hi Ravi,
Internet explorer back button is not supported for the application, instead you can use back to status/back button in SRM shopping cart application, you should be good to go with this button.
SAP recommends not to use internet explorer back button which stops the functoning of application.

My guess would be it has created an entirely new backup of your drive when you upgraded to Mavericks.

I already tried reloading ITunes and it still doesn't startup.

You didn't mention but are you still running a version of iPhoto older than iPhoto 11?
If yes, then go to the App Store and purchase the iP 11 app and install it. Back up your photo library first.
Once iP 11 is installed and has imported all your photos do a restart of the Mac.
This should resolve most issues with iTunes 10.6 and you should be able to run iTunes and sync up your iOS devices.

Two days ago, I loaded Light Room 6. Today I went back to Light Room 5. LR 6 corrupted an entire folder of images, and caused errors on my Raid 5 causing win 7 to run "Chk Dsk" and fix the errors to the operating system. LR 5 has not shut down for the last 5 hours. LR 6 has a serious bug. Anyone else experiencing this problem. Yesterday I was on tech support, waiting for 3 hours, finally they picked up and informed me there department was closing and someone else would call me on Monday. So, I'm working today and all day Sunday to make up for the down time using LR 6.
I don't know if the bug exists in the program or the "Creative Cloud.
Question: Does anyone know why if I bought Light Room 6 [NOT Light Room CC with the monthly rental], I have to enter my serial number if I want to use it?

Entering the serial number is probably part of the registration process.
Just out of curiosity, what were you doing on LR6 when the folder of images became corrupted?

BACK button functionality to be changed for custom report in ITS screen

Hi all,
I am working on SRM 5.0 with INTERNAL ITS.I have created a custom report and a transaction code for the same.Now in the SRM Web menu,I have provided a link for this report.
Now i can see all the std menu options like BACK SYSTEM CANCEL as buttons in the web screen.However when i click on the BACK button,it takes me to the SAP EASY ACCESS MENU screen as we see in SAPGUI.
My reqt is that on click of the BACK button,i need to show the HOMEPAGE of the SRM.Is this possible?If so,how?
All inputs will be highly appreciated and rewarded.

There are several possibilities how to call transaction:
- You can call it as service (that is what you do when you test it from SICF)
- You can call it through service (or alias) WEBGUI (not using service for the specific transaction to call it)
If you are calling it through WEBGUI then parameter ~SINGLETRANSACTION should be added to service (or alias) of WEBGUI. And there should be added also Log Off URL (in SICF). At this case it should navigate back to the URL which is specified in SICF.

Usage of Back button in Nested Iview

I have redesigned my model from one iview to an iview with several nested iviews.
In my main iview I have multiple layers. When I didn't use nested iviews (situation before) the "go back" button which was defined on multiple forms with the system command "go back history" was working fine. But now this is not working anymore.
At first I tried to replace the method by adding an own button with the customer command "goback" identical to event goback that points to the layer but this doesn't work neither from within the nested iview.
What's the best approach to jump back via a button from the nested iview to your main iview ?

Let me explain what i had understood ...
You have multiple layers and you added a nested iView in one of the layers.
There is a button with custom action "GoBack" in the nested iView.
The layers are connected and the customaction goback is set as the event for layer transition.
Is this the real scenario??
I guess, you can't use the custom action of a nested iView to control the layer transitioning in the parent level. But you can add a transparent form with a goback button on the same layer with nested iView and in layout, keep the form on top of the nested iView so that the button looks like its in the nested iView.

How to display the error message on screen in display mode

Hi all,
How to display error message as as status message on the screen(module pool).
The requirement is if I call the screen, it should get with the error message in the status bar. If I write with error message 'E' error mesage information displays and when I click on exit, it lives the current transaction.

LEAVE TO SCREEN XXXX.
After displaying the information message like E, leave to the screen you want to navigate or can also navigate to the transaction required.

The back button doesn' always work. Even right clicking on the page doesn't give me the option to go back and if i check the history, the page i was trying to go back to, is not listed.

I've noticed the problem yesterday and it has happened few times today again.

The "Use custom settings for history" selection allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting this doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.
Firefox shows "Use custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made.
If all History settings are default then the custom settings are hidden and you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History".
"Never Remember History" means that Private Browsing is active and "Always use private browsing mode" gets a checkmark.
You need to remove the checkmark on "Always use private browsing mode" to leave Private Browsing mode or chose the "Remember History" setting.

How to handle The Back button on Module Pool screen

Hi Gurus,
I have created a module pool screen. In that screen I have used some input/output fields(text box) which i have marked mandatory by making the input field as "required" under program tab.
now when running the screen if no data is entered into these mandatory input field then BACK button does not work. First I have to enter some data into the input filed only then the BACK button works. How should i code so that the back button works even without entering the data into these mandatory fields.

eg. module user_command at exit command.

u declare sy-ucomm in data decla.
in code try this out.
Case sy-ucomm.
when 'BACK'.
leave to screen#. " # For the selection screen (i dnt think it is 0).
u obviously have to set the PF status for the same by SE41 and in Aplication, u give name as BACK for the back symbol.
