Usage of Deprovisioning Date and Deprivisioned Date   : 11GR2

Hi,
I wanto deprovision resources of the user by using the deprovision dates. Wich one I should use, Deprovisioning Date or Deprovisioned Date? Can anyone guide me about the meaning of these two fields?
Any help is strongly appreciated...
BR,
Aliye

you should go with Deprovisioning Date.
Deprovisioned Date: After de-provisioning this is updated automatically.

How can I monitor my monthly data usage for all 3 computers in my house? I have an Airport base station and it seems there should be software to monitor it from that point rather than monitoring the usage for each computer and then adding it up.

The following example was one of dozens that showed up on a simple Google search of.....
monitor Internet data use on a Mac
Watch your Internet usage with NetUse Monitor | Macworld
Most service providers have an application for their users as well.

  • By what time zone does Verizon use to log data usage?  When I checked my current usage, there is data used logged in at early morning times and I don't have anyone else who is up at these times.

By what time zone does Verizon use to log data usage?  When I checked my current usage, there is data used logged in at early morning times and I don't have anyone else who is up at these times.  I also have 1.8+ GB charged to my allowance that I don't understand at all how it is mine because the highest I've ever logged at any given time has been barely 0.5 GB.  I'm cruising along at .04-.07 GB and all of a sudden appears a 1.8+ GB deduction/usage and it makes me wonder what the ???? is going on.  Is Verizon posting fraudulent usage amounts just to drive up my usage so I have to buy more Gigs?

The time is not the time of actual use, but the time a tower reports the use. The data would have been used anytime prior to that time. Usually, but no always, the usage happened between the time prior and the time reported.
    For example:
    9:00 AM   1.23 MB
    7:05 AM   0.01 MB
    1:15 AM  350.03 MB
    8:00 PM   23.89 MB
This does not indicate 350 MB was used at 1:15 AM. It really tell you 350 MB was used sometime between 8:00 PM and 1:15 AM.
The times are local time zone as far as I can tell.

  • How can you manage data usage when cellular data is off, but you are using WiFi where your WiFi provider charges for data use?

I spend quite a few months each year in Canada where I use a Telus Cellular Hub device which is also my WiFi Router.  My iPhone 5 has Cellular Data set to "Off" which insures I won't be charged via my Verizon Wireless Service Provider for charges while in Canada.  Trouble is Telus, Rogers and all the Canadian Internet Providers charge for all Data going through their Systems.  Again, My Cellular Data on the iPhone 5 is turned off, but I use WiFi for such things as checking the Weather, or FaceBook, or searching the Web.
I believe that things may be happening in the background from various Apps that use quite a lot of Data.  It could be that iCloud is part of the issue with things being backed up automatically.  It also could be that Apps like AP or other News Apps are sending large amounts of Data in the photos associated with their New Stories, etc.  I typically turn off the App Store "Updates" such that they don't automatically load.  The FaceBook works now posted videos play when you are just scrolling through the News Feed.
I have been trying to fine an article somewhere which focuses on this specific problem but unfortunately many if not most articles are about folks worried about using Cellular Data while in a WiFi environment when their Cellular Data is turned on.
Does anyone know of a fairly comprehensive article about what settings on which Apps might reduce the Data Usage when Cellular Data is turned "Off" but you are going through a Service Provider who charges for all Data Accessed even when you are using WiFi?

Thanks for your comments, it is clear you understand my plight.  The trouble is fully understanding what Apps and App Features are transferring data in the background any time you happen to turn WiFi to on (even if you have had it off most of the day or night).  Obviously things like Location Services can constantly be sending and receiving data from my iPhone without any action on my part.  Also if you have things like photo backup on the iCloud then each time you take a photo you are sending a copy out.  All App Updates if set to Automatic also can add up to quite a bit of Data.  Reading the News on AP or scrolling through FB News Feed is actually adding up to a lot of Data.  There could be other culprits that I am not even thinking of.  I don't want to turn Apps like Find My Phone off or turn iCloud off due to loosing the value of such a program entirely.  Again thanks for your quick response.

  • Data Usage - How much data is what???

I recently looked at my college freshman's data usage on our bill and was stunned to see the almost Incessant data usage at least 5 or 6 times every hour, even throughout the night. How can I tell if its her Droid collecting data when she isn't using it or her actually on FB, Twitter, etc. all day and night?

Lauren, some advice on this and for anyone with an Android.
Go to Google Play (the app store on the phone) and download Onavo Count. This will track the apps using the Data.
Give it a day or two and then look to see which apps are using Data.
Go into Onavo and into the list of apps and for those that are NOT e-mail or Facebook or other social media apps, change the setting to only use Data if Wi-Fi is available.
This will cut out ALL of the Bloatware trying to access data to see if there is an update to the app
It will also cause any other app on the phone to use Wi - Fi Data and only when Wi - Fi is present can it do its thing.
The data usage on my sons phone went from 2.4 GB per month to under 500 GB per month and most of it was the Bloatware programs calling home to see if it could update the bloatware.the rest was legit.

  • Usage as cache / data store?

I've read of people using Elasticsearch or Solr as a caching layer for their application, which on the surface at least makes a lot of sense: the search engine is fast, and often you've got all your data in there anyway. I imagine that the appropriateness
of this is primarily an architecture question, but is there anything specific to Azure Search that would make using it as a caching layer an especially bad idea?
    Thanks!
I'm not sure how much context that question requires, but for what it's worth: we make a kind of social CRM/intranet product, so our data consists of contacts, employees, projects, companies, and social posts/comments (which can include uploaded documents).
Currently, most of this is pulled from a (fairly normalized) SQL database, or from an small-ish in-role Azure cache. We want to implement a great search feature across all this data, but because the usage of this data often requires some complex joins or formatting,
we also want to implement a larger cache to keep all of our data in a denormalized form. So if not Azure Search or Elasticsearch, we're probably looking at Redis or maybe even a NoSQL like Mongo.

Yes, we do see many cases where it's natural to use Azure Search (or some other search stack) both for search and for serving other queries/content as well, since as you say you already have the data there.
One particular pattern we see is having an operational store such as SQL which stays normalized (and sometimes even on-premises) and the denormalized Azure Search index is created out of it. Then online projections (websites, mobile apps, etc.) are served
entirely from the Azure Search index.
Whether you should use Azure Search or a different cache depends on your access patterns. If you need full-text search (e.g. basic keyword search and potentially things such as linguistics, ranking, etc.) then Azure Search could be a good fit. If you only
retrieve data on exact queries and you won't need search in the future, you could use Azure Search but other stores might offer other advantages (e.g. Redis cache or DocumentDB).

  • Is there an app for monitoring CELLPHONE usage? (Not data, calls, SMS, etc.)

Hey! Is there an app for monitoring CELLPHONE usage? (Not data, calls, SMS, etc.). I know there's for data, but I wanna know if there's one that keeps track of calls, SMS, etc.
    Thanks!

Unless O2 has an app available via the iTunes app store that provides for this as AT&T does for the iPhone sold in the U.S., I don't believe so.
The iPhone includes a usage indicator for Call Time and Cellular Network Data usage, which can be reset on a monthly basis based on your billing cycle, but there is no usage indicator for the number of messages sent or received.

  • What constitutes data usage?  My data usage is over twice what it has been for the last several months.

What constitutes data usage?  The data usage is over twice what it Has been the last 6 months.
    thank you for the assistance.

Downloading apps, listening to music(streaming) using social media apps, and multiplayer/online games. Email sending and receiving.
Icloud backups and there's a lot more. Imessages uses data and not SMS unless data connection is down.

  • Problem with revoking accounts on deprovisioned Date

    Hello,
I am setting the De-provisioning date for a user manually from UI to the current date(tried with yesterday's date too). After I submit, I ran the "Set User Deprovisioned Date" Job. It has updated the user deprovisioned date field, but the user's accounts are still in "Provisioned" status.
Is there any other job that needs to be executed after this to revoke the accounts? or "Set User Deprovisioned Date" Job will revokes the account also along with setting the deprovisioned date.(which somehow is no happening in my case.)
    Thanks
    sjit

You haven't mentioned the version but for 11.1.1.5 you can get it here:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e14308/scheduler.htm#BABECJFD
Also the jar would be OIMServer.jar or xlScheduler.jar

  • After updating to latest Firefox - when I click on google taskbar my CPU usage goes to 100% and stays there... and computer is really slow. No other search engine show the 100% usage like Google. There was NOT a problem with older versions of Firefox...?

My computer got really slow after updating to latest version of Firefox. I checked all processes and I was testing the system. THe CPU usage goes between 2 and 70 percent staying around 25% on average, when I check my e-mail. As soon as I click on Google taskbar (without even typing in anything) the CPU usage jumps to 100% and STAYS at 100 %, and computer extremely slow.

I experience same problem in Windows. Exp terminated without error. But I assume that's windows fault (isn't it always the case?). It works in Solaris though.

Trying to view my usage for text messaging and it's not accurate.  Is there a problem w/ the page?

Sometimes there can be a lag in reporting.  If you have an iPhone, iMessages don't show up on the log.  What part of the usage isn't accurate?

  • Usage scenarios of CacheFactory and DefaultCacheServer

What kind of usage scenarios of CacheFactory and DefaultCacheServer exist? What is the best for start server and what for start members? Thank you.

    Hi,
CacheFactory is used to obtain an instance of a cache and DefaultCacheServer is used to start all services that are declared as "autostart" in configuration. CacheFactory should be used when you need to introspect the cache and for all other purposes it should be DefaultCacheServer.
What is the best for start server and what for start members : DefaultCacheServer
    Hope this helps!
    Cheers,
    NJ
