Usage of Static condtion type for CO-PA

Hi All,
In our implementation, due to backward, forward pricing procedure calculation & some condition type possesses balance sheet account codes as account keys, for costing based CO-PA we have prepared static condition type in all procedure & attached with value fields.
I hope this procedure is correct . Pl. suggest.

SMK Ganesh

Hi Ganesh,
    I believe you are referring to statistical condition types. In costing based COPA we always pass statistical SD conditions to COPA provided they are mapped in KE4I.
   Please refer note 20254 for additional info

    Dear All
    SD CIN Experts Pls let me know the Tax condtion type for Higher Education Cess for service
    thank
    mujju

    There is no condition type for Higher edn cess in the standard system. SAP suggests creation of a neew one and assiging it to AT1. So go ahead and create a condition type by copying the ECS condition type and renaming it. Ensure that you tick the laible for At1 to be ticked  and also in the deafault condition types put the Condition type in the AT1 field. Also do the account detemination for AT1 accounts for Rg23A,C and PLA. This will configure the S&H ECS.

  • Static input help for DATS type

    Hello,
    I'd like to link static input help for screen field of DATS type. If I click on help linked to this screen field I get CONVT_NO_NUMBER error: 'Unable to interpret "=2" as a number.'
    My steps:
    - In Screen Painter I selected desired screen field and selected DATS type and "1 Show at selection" in its details.
    - I defined global variable with same name as desired screen field
    What's the problem?
    Best regards,
    Josef Motl

    Hi,
    do this way.....
    first declare the variable in program as
    1. data: date type sy-datum.
    2. now go to your screen,(click on F6) use get from Program
    now choose date form it , and say ok, now save it and activate it.
    delete the old one..
    now you will be able to get all the things which you want.
    automatical validation also possible, and F4 also possible.

  • Delivery Schedule output type for change

    Hi all,

    i checked the configuration field relevant to printout changes, in that for table EKET-EINDT and menge i have checked the scheduling agreement. but here i could not find delivery schedule.

  • Condition Type for Rebate

    Hello All
    I am in the process of configuring the rebate processing in our system...this is my first experience...we are on ECC7.0...I am follwing the Rebate Processing configuration guide but I have a few questions...
    My requirement is the following
    Order volume fully paid.... the following will apply
    <$500,000  credit percentage is 3%
    >500,000 and <  credit percentage is 3.75
    etc....
    In the condition type configuration under control data I am confused of the calculation type to use and the condition category as well...I am using condition type Material Rebate, but have also added all the condition types related to Rebate...just in case.
    There will be no manual payments or partial settlements.  The rebate is due at end of year of all fully paid items.
    If there is shipments that are due but will not be during the annual term and it exceeds the lets say 1,000,000 since he credit percentage would be 6% in this case....after the review of the rebate agreement then the discount for  the following year will be set at the appropriate percentage and will begin at $1.
    For example if the total sales during this term are 1.2 million the the credit percentage for the following year would be 6% for all the sales the following year beginning at $1...sales for the annual term of 1.2 million would equate to a rebate of 72,000 (6%).
    Also, all material that is bought the customer receives a 3% discount on top of the above.
    Will I need to also include condtion type groups???
    Your help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

    Hi Eric and thanks for your reply ....
    If the Rebate is for a certain customer and they are having multiple materials for the rebate and can have channel partners that will also be a ship to party and rebate applies....I am thinking I need to use the 0002 condition type?  Please confirm.
    That is the one I have chosen so far....I do not see the rebate condtion type being being pulled through the sales order on the condition tab...it wants to keep pulling in the pricing condtion table for that rebate material....any advice as to what I may have missed....I did follow the config guide...as stated before this is my first experience wit hrebates...
    I can understand the invoice showing the accruals but how would I do the scale to know if the customer reaches a certain amount their rebate percentages would be different based on the paid invoice sales...
    up to 500,000  paid would be A 3 percent discount
    Over 500,000 would be a 3.75 percent discount
    This is also on top of the standard 3 percent discount they are given on the material as a customer discount.
    Please advise....your assistance is appreciated

  • Condition type for pricicing procedure

    I have to define a new condition type which will add to gross price and ED will calculate on it.
    And when VAT will calculate it will deduct from the price of GP + ED + ECess + SECess.
    For Ex:
    Gross Price = 100
    ZZZZ = 10
    total  = 110
    ED 10% = 11
    ECess 2% = 0.22
    SECess 1% = 0.11
    Total + ED + ECess + SECess = 121.33
    ZZZZ (minus) = 10
    Total + ED + ECess + SECess - (ZZZ) = 111.33
    VAT 2% on 111.33 = 2.23
    I define a new condtion type it is adding in GP but when calcualting VAT what should i have to do that it will deduct.
    I have tried to give 6 as subtotal but in this case it is not adding to GP but deduct before calculating VAT
    What configuration in M/08 or what i will do..... Plz help.....

    Hi
    In SPRO- SAP IMG- Material Management- Purchasing- Conditions - Define Price determination process.
    In this Define calculation schema... u define the calculation.
    IF u want to copy the existing conditions check the define condition types.

  • Need to Restrict  the usage of same conditn type multiple times in same PO

    Dear All
    The system is allowing the usage of one condition type multiple times in the same PO line item.
    We want to put restriction in such a way that "one condition type if used should not be allowed to use again for that line item.
    Is there any solution for this through Configuration settings or we need to go for some enhancements?
    Please suggest me the enhancements available to achieve this requirement.
    Thanks & Regards
    Bala

    I think you have to make use of an exit (EXIT_SAPLMEKO_002)  or a BADI (ME_PO_PRICING_CUST)

  • Creating a query that provides a default transaction type for those transactions not categorized?

    How could I create a query that provides a default transaction type for those transactions not categorized?
    So assuming I have:
    * Transactions table (with transactions)
    * Categories table
    * transactions_categories table - allows to allocate multiple categories (with a percentage)
     - tranactionID
     - categoryID
     - percentageAllocation
    * Usage is such that only non-personal categories have been applied through out data.  So there is a lot of transactions with no categories applied
    Aim:
    * Want to create a query that creates a list of all the allocated amounts, so would include as columns:  transaction.tDate, transaction.tTitle, categories.name, allocatedAmount(calculated from percentage * transaction amount)
    BUT:
    * How could I include in the query, the entries that cover all transaction that haven't been allocated, to a default category "personal", where the allocated Amount would be 100% of the transaction value
    * And also (if it were possible), for transactions that have been categorized but not for the complete transaction value (say only 50% was allocated to a category), how to to cover this off to.

    To default the value of the category:
    select IIf(IsNull(Category),"Personal",Category) as Category,IIf(IsNull(Category),"100%",PercentageAllocation
    ) as PercentageAllocation from [yourtable]
    What do you want to put the values of these ones:
    And also (if it were possible), for transactions that have been categorized but not for the complete transaction
    value (say only 50% was allocated to a category), how to to cover this off to.

  • Difference between narrow() method usage and simple class cast for EJB

    Hi,
    I have a very simple question:
    what is the difference between PortableRemoteObject.narrow(fromObj,
    toClass) method usage and simple class cast for EJB.
    For example,
    1)
    EJBObject ejbObj;
    // somewhere in the code the home.create() called for bean ...
    ABean a = (ABean)PortableRemoteObject.narrow(ejbObj,ABean.class);
    OR
    2)
    EJBObject bean;
    // somewhere in the code the home.create() called for bean ...
    ABean a = (ABean)ejbObj;
    Which one is better?
    P.S. I'm working with WL 6.1 sp2
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,

    Which one is better?(1) is mandated by the spec. It is required because CORBA systems may
    not have sufficient type information available to do a simple case.
    P.S. I'm working with WL 6.1 sp2 You should always use PRO.narrow()

  • Condition types for a info record

    hi can someone pls tell me how do i config the following scenario :
    my client has 10 condition types
    out of which 5 condition types should compulsorily appear in my Po
    and remaining 5 should default from inforecord...however even in info record , no other condition types apaty from this 5 condition types should be allowed .....that is in all my info records only these 5 condition records are allowed for a client

    Hi Joyti,
    For this u have to ---
    1.COpy condtion type PB00 and make new condition type sap ZB00
    2.Copy pricing procedure RM0002  to  say ZRM002.
    3.Delete PB00 contion type from ZRM002 and replace it by ZB00.
    4.Maintain only 5 contion types in this pricing procedure which u want in inforecord.
    Thats it. Now when u will try to created inforecord - only these 5 contions type which r entered in pricing procedure ZRM002 will be seen .And when u will Create Po the Pricing procedure which u have created will be triggered based on Vendor and pur. Org .
    Thank you

  • Wrong calculation for condition type for misc. provision in service PO

    Hi Gurus,
    In service PO line item, we have maintained customised condition type for misc provision. this is % based on net price. It has been assigned account key and accrual key. It's manual. Logically, it should calculate the value based on the total of the net values of all service lines and post a single entry for all concerned service lines. What system is actually doing, it calculates the value correctly for total of net values of service lines in that PO line item but post it to the account as many number of times as the number of service lines in that line item.
    This is when service based IV is active for the PO line item. If I deactivate this, then it post the account once only which is ok.
    Please explain this behaviour. Also, I want to activate service based IV, what should I do to this condition type. Is there any condtion base formula or condtion value formual to be assigned in the pricing procedure?
    Thanks in advance,
    Sudhir Dahake

    Hi,
    Check if some user exit/ routine is written for the condition type.
    Check user exit RV60AFZZ, RV60AFZA, RV60AFZB,RV60AFZC for some code.
    If it is a manual condition check COPY CONTROLS or if it is automatic check condition records from which it is calculated based on qty, price, material type, etc.

  • Create a new condition type for tax... and assign in the Tax determniation

    Hi,
    I need to add custom condition tax type, i tried creating the condition in OBQ1 and add that condtion in FI pricing OBQ3, now I want to confirm what is basic conept means whenever we create on condtion in OQB1 and add in OBQ3.
    i need to add that in Sales order and need to maunally populate that in the sales order.
    could anybody suggest to create a new condition type for tax.(full process).
    Thanks
    shankar

    Hi,
    Goto the T.Code "V/06".Create one new "Z" condition type.
    Maintain the Condition Class as "D(Taxes)".
    Calculation type as "A(percentage)".
    Cond. Category as "D(Tax)".
    Select the tick mark for "Group Condition" if it is applicable for you.
    In the next step assign this condition type to your pricing procedure by using the T.Code "V/08".
    Also maintain access sequence by using the T.Code "V/07" and assign it to your Condition type.
    Now this condition type will appeared in your sales order after maintain teh condition records.
    Regards,
    Krishna.

  • Type for measurements

    For Science and Engineering a number is usually naked without its measurement unit.
    Can I somehow make a type for values like 59.333mn or 657.99ft?
    I could use "59.333mn" and "657.99ft" but that seems cumbersome.
    Does java have such a type or another good way?
    C has struct. class seems a bit much too. There would be so many classes around.

    Thank you EJP for the information and encouragement.
    I got a start tonight by writing the attached class.
    I think I will use it and modify some appropriate conversion routines I have elsewhere and add.
    I have used some subroutines not included here.
      public static class M1 {
        double value=Double.NaN; String unit=""; int nNegSigns=0; int nPoints=0; int digCnt=0; int untWid=-1; int totWid=-1;
        M1(String measInStg) { //constructor using string
          int lgt=measInStg.length();
          for(int i=0;i<lgt;i++) {
            if(isDigit(measInStg.charAt(i))) { digCnt++; continue; } else if(measInStg.charAt(i)=='-') { nNegSigns++; continue; } else
            if(measInStg.charAt(i)=='.') { nPoints++; continue; } else if(measInStg.charAt(i)=='+')continue; else
            if(isAlphaChar(measInStg.charAt(i))) {
              unit=measInStg.substring(i); value=Double.parseDouble(measInStg.substring(0,i)); untWid=lgt-i;
              if(nPoints>1) { System.out.println("Found more than one decimal point in measurement "+measInStg); System.exit(0); }
              if(nNegSigns>1) { System.out.println("Found more than one negative sign in measurement "+measInStg); System.exit(0); }
              totWid=nNegSigns+nPoints+digCnt+untWid; break; //pause("totWid="+totWid+" nNegSigns="+nNegSigns+" nPoints="+nPoints+" digCnt="+digCnt+" untWid="+untWid); break;
            } System.out.println("Unknown character "+measInStg.charAt(i)+" in measurement "+measInStg+" at position "+i); System.exit(0); //leave remainder concerns for elsewhere
        M1(double val,String unt) { //constructor using number and unit
          value=val; unit=unt; untWid=unt.length();
        String measOuStg(int outWid) {
          String ouStg=OuWid.sR(value,outWid-untWid)+unit; return(ouStg);
        M1 tim0=new M1(59.99,"sc"); System.out.println(tim0.measOuStg(8)); System.exit(0);
