Hi,
By flagging a field on here, yes, that is what it is designed to do.
If you change the delivery address for instance you would surely need to tell the vendor? So you would flag these fields so that the new PO (which can be a PO with ONLY the changes on it, or a full reprint of the PO, depending on which you want), is printed and sent to the vendor.
If the Purchasing group is changed then you may decide that this should NOT trigger a print of the changes, so you don't flag that field.
It is entirely up to you which fields you flag, all, some or none.
There is a flag for each type of document (RFQ, PO, Contract and Scheduling agreement and so you can set different flags for each)
You can also specify the text number to control what the change text is, such as "Delivery address changed" etc.
You can even use special routines that can manage more complex actions for each change.
As susual the SAP system is giving you many options that you CAN use if you want to, but you don't have to use them if you don't want to.

D Dialog,U Update,S Spool,I Batch input,B Batch,E Enqueue.

Hi Chinni,
(1)SLAPPROVER IS AN ATTRIBUTE in SRM .It is not a transaction in SRM. It Specifies the approver used in workflows based on a spending limit.
(2) r3prodstyp -This contains product subtype - view it comm_hierarchy .and you can see them when you browse product category set type tab.
check this tranasction COMM_PRAPPLCAT here product as Application mapped with R3PRODSTYP

How to track usage of tcodes for a particular Login id

If suppose 100 tcodes has been assigned to a particualr Login Id, I have to confirm whether in the last month have the users executed all the tcodes assigned to them or not.*

The first thing you have to consider is why the tcode is in the role at first place, conventional wisdom is - Role was identified, its functions were identified (or the other way around) and then corresponding tcodes were identified to perform those functions and then role was updated with these tcodes. Now rather than approaching it through the frequency of tcode use, you shoudl revisit the business process or function and evaluate if it is still required in the role. Depending upon this requirement, you should reevaluate your role design. Usually you should just prepare the role-to-tcode matrix and have the business/Function review it periodically.
going by frequency can be misleading, I will give you a scenario - what if the user executes a tcode only once a quarter or 6 months or a year, with rest of the time the function is performed by junior staff or some other team member through a different role. So best practice I can suggest is to review the role-tcode matrix.
You can however check the frequency using Audit Logs in Sm18-20 as mentioned by Vikas above. These are pretty easy to configure but size of logs can get unmanageable depending upon filters.

Malicious Usage of Tcode FB01 - Log Question

Hi All
I have found a User who ran FB01 tcode in production system to post for a Company code which the user is not authorized,
I used the ST03N tcode to find the User has run the tcode on that day.
But the problem is the Usage log shows the user running the tcode under Update mode & not there is no log of the user running the tcode under Dialog mode.
I need to Determine if the user has run any batch jobs unknowingly & post for the wrong company code or is it delebarate action.
How can i prove this.
Plz clarify the course of action i need to take to prove whether this was intentional or unintensional action.

Authorization Error in Usage Decision tcode

Hi All,
While giving the UD for an inspection lot, our user is getting an authorization error where in a different plant other than the plant related to the inspection lot and other master data is related.
I do not know if anything has gone wrong. Did anyone come across such an issue?

This is exactly the correct solution.
I believe you have done this setting in your inspection type which prevert Selected sets of other plant to pop up while doing the UD .
SPRO > QM > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Creation > Maintain Inspection Types > Inspection Types > Tick in Selected set in the same plant

These numbers represent hits based on the criteria you maintained in config: Note
u2022     Each goods receipt per line of a PO creates an entry in this table. So for example, total PO lines is 8 but total deliveries is 11. So some items had multiple deliveries.
u2022     Delivery date is based on statistical delivery date in the purchase order.
u2022     The statistical date is calculated by SAP at point of PO creation, based on the lead time from the material master.
u2022     If a goods receipt is made, then reversed, entry will not disappear from this table.
It is worth adding columns "PO item sched.lines" and "Deliveries" into the report. This way, you can determine whether a PO line was goods receipted more than once.

Deletion of Business Partner from tcode "BP"

Hi!
I set up ChaRM functionality and have the problem that for one existing Business Partner
from tcode "BP" the error message comes up:
The current business partner does not have a vald assignment to change Request Manager or Organization.
Therefore I would like to delete this value from tcode BP and recreate them.
Question
Does anyone know how to delete business partner from tcode "BP"?
Are there some report, functional module, etc. for this approach?

Hi!
When I try tp delete a business partner by usage of tcode "BUPA_DEL" I get the warning that this business partner will be used in some transactions.
Therefore I closed all the messages with theis assignment.
Unfortunately when I start CRM_DNO_MONITOR I see that some service desk messages with this business partner still exist, bu are closed.
Question:
What is the report or tcode to delete all the closed Service Desk messages?

QM Usage Decision Error : Deficit Batch restricted

I am unable to reject two batches..it shows 'no inventory exsists for this material'
Usage Decision TCode gives me the following error:
Deficit Batch restricted

Well.. it's basically telling you it can't find the material in the stock category it is looking for it in.
So, to resolve this, first find out where the batches really are.
Get the actual batch numbers from the inspection lots and run MMBE to see where the material is and what the status of the batch is, restricted or unrestricted.
You must then figure out where is the UD transaction looking for the material? You can check this by looking in config and the looking at the settings for the inventory posting. You should see 3 movement types for the reject posting line. One for QI, one for unrestricted and one for blocked.
What you need to do, is a) get the batch inventory into the proper inventory bucket. This might be as simple as unrestricting the batch. b) if you can't get the material where it needs to be, you might be able to temporarily change the movement type used for the reject postings. Then change it back to what it should be once you rejected the material.

Kindly Guide me through this.

What is the "next inspection date" value in the batch record? Also, what was the window you used in QA07? 1 day? 30 days?
The next inspection date must be exceeded or fall within the window used in QAO7.

Transaction code MASS and delta to BW / BI 7.0

Hi all,
in our BI landscape master data changes in the OLTP system will be performed with transaction MASS.
Do you know, if the changes will be done in such a way, that a "delta" for extraction to BW is recorded? Do you need to consider any special prerequisites regarding generation of a "delta" when using Tcode MASS?
Unfortunately, I am not very familiar with TCode MASS and only know the general principle of it.
Any feedback is highly appreciated!

tcode SM02 will do that, as soon as your user does some kind of action.
or else, investigate usage of tcode SE37 with function module TH_POPUP.

Authorisation for SE16 and SE37 in Production

Dear All,
I need to clarify the usage of TCodes SE16 and SE37 in the BI system. I understood that both of these TCodes are not allowed to use in the Production Environment due to Controls and Compliance.
1. Since SE16 is only for data browsing, is this TCode allowed in Production at all?
2. For SE37, I need to access the "Test Function Module" option in this TCode. However, if this TCode is prohibited in Production, is there any other Tcodes that I could use in order to access this functionality?
3. Is there any documentation that provides a proper guidance for SAP Security access in BI? e.g which TCodes are Allowed to access and which are Prohibited (for Operational Support staff).

sometimes we have to work only on load monitoring
sometimes you have 2 work on erporting etc
so for a support staff mostly we require
TCODES -RSPCM-for Multiple Processchains ,RSPC-To create processchain, SM58-for LUW's,DB02-To check the database size,SM37-Status of backroubd job,SM12-To unlock the objects, RSMO-To check how many infopackages are running,SM50-To see the work process,SM64-To trigger the vent
