  • Any Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter with audio for macbook pro mid 2009

connecting MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009) to Hisense TV with audio?!?!!?
    hello everyone.
if anyone is familar with successfully getting the older macbook pros that dont support audio out to stream and preform digital audio on a TV or has any helpful information that will get me familiar with trying to successfully stream audio and visual. and can PLEASE HELP ME in any way to understand what they know and teach me how to solve my problem id really appreciate it.
i want to connect my MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009) to my Hisense LED LCD TV, ModelNumber:40H3E  and getting digital audio sound from my TV as well as video, but have no clue on how or where to even start to successfully pairing the two and getting sound.
I own a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009) this MacBook model doesnt support an HDMI port. My MacBooks model has the Mini Displayport which supports video out but does not support audio out. Can someone help me by telling me exactly which Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter with audio will support my model MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009) and exactly what HDMI wire do i need to buy that will successfully preform digital audio and sadisfying quality visual through TV?
i have NO expierence with the proccess have NO knowledge about any of this or these Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapters with audio. i have no idea what kind of adapter and HDMI cord to buy that will give me sound from my tv for my type of macbook. '
im not familar AT ALL with any of this so i hope me giving you my MacBook Pros make and model and my TV's model number will be enough information for someone to help me.
just please give me anything you can on this topic
    thank you so much,

With a 2009 MacBook Pro, you need to use two connections to your TV: one for video and another one for audio.  The miniDisplayPort on the 2009 models does not support audio, so you need a separate audio cable:
miniDisplayPort adapter for video - I use the Apple miniDisplayport-DVI adapter + a DVI-HDMI cable like this one
audio cable for audio - use a 3.5mm male stereo-to-2xRCA male cable like this one
Connect the miniDisplayport adapter + DVI/HDMI cable to your MacBook Pro's miniDisplayPort output and the HDMI input on your TV
Connect the audio cable to your MacBook Pro's audio out and your TV's audio in
The only potential gotcha is if your Hisense TV requires audio via the HDMI cable when you use an HDMI cable.  The H3e user manual is unclear about this.

  • Premiere Pro CS3 Capture Problem with Audio

    Setup:
    Premiere Pro 3.2.0
Video Capture Device: Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro capture card
Audio Capture Device: HT Omega Claro Plus XP
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
I am able to capture video with Premiere with no issues.  However, the audio does not get captured even though it is set to capture both audio and video.  I am configured for ASIO capture and playback.  Strange thing is that I can load Adobe Soundbooth and it will capture the audio just fine (from the same input stream as I'm trying to do with Premiere).  What gives?  I'm almost out of options.
From what I can see, when I hit F5 and go into capture mode, Premiere seems to insist that it must capture audio from the blackmagic design audio ports, and even though I have the audio explicitly setup for the Claro in audio hardware, if I go into the capture settings, it still is set on "Blackmagic Capture" as the capture format, and when I go to settings, I can pick the audio channels to capture, however.... I don't want to capture with the blackmagic for audio.   The capture format MUST be "Blackmagic Capture" or else I can't capture the video.  It still doesn't make sense though, since I have the audio hardware set for input from the claro ASIO.  It shouldn't force Blackmagic audio.
    Any ideas?  Please help

    Some additional information:
Sound card is a Claro Plus XT not XP.  Used to typing XP heh
Also, the video capture works with the included blackmagic capture software, as well as freeware solutions like VirtualDub and a Japanese freeware program I use.  I'm able to capture video and audio without issue on those.  Just don't know why Premiere doesn't do it...

  • Can't get driver to work with ezcap usb 2.0 video capture device on windows 8.1

I have an ezcap video capture device that works fine on my windows 7 machine but will not work in windows 8.1. The software (arcsoft 3.5)  functions properly but will not let me select the video grabber as a source. The driver itself indicates not compatible with 8.1 and the there are no drivers out there that I can find to address this issue? Any known solution would be helpful.

    Hi,
It is not from HP. Please try driver from the following link:

  • Dreamcast and video capture adapter USB

    Hi guys,
I'm looking for a video capture USB  for my dreamcast so I can use my laptop.
Do you know any video capture working on linux?
I will use it only for the dreamcast so I don't need anything sophisticated :-)

  • MDP to HDMI adapter with audio (MBP mid-2010)

Since the MDP now supports audio, I'd sure like to get a simple, single cable that converts from MDP to HDMI, passing video and audio through. MonoPrice had such a cable advertised, but they quickly (after I bought it) changed the description to indicate that it didn't support audio. Has anyone found a MDP to HDMI converter/cable that passes both audio and video through without requiring multiple ports (TOSLink and/or USB)? Seems like this ought to be a no-brainer, yet I can't find such a cable.

    Hi Dave
At the moment, I'm waiting for a packet from UK with the Griffin Video Display adapter (found it on Amazon.co.uk)
I tried to buy it from griffin.com, but the postage to Europe was disproportionate compared to the price for the adapter.
Your link to the European dealers let me choose Apple Store (webstore) as the only choice because I live in Denmark. And the Danish (european??) Apple webstore doesn't include the display adapter.
I don't know, but I think it would be useful, if the Danish (and perhaps european) webstore could sell the products.
    Cheers, Joakim

  • Video losing sync with audio during playback

I am having a unique issue with FCP 6.0.6.
We are using this version to log and capture a switched video feed with audio
through a Black Magic DeckLink HD Extreme 3  PCI card.  Capture works fine.
But during playback the next day, the video seems to drop a frame, or lose sync
(you can see it visually) then continues playing.  The result is the video is now
out of sync with the audio.
We do a weekly 3 camera shoot which is webcast, and then later uploaded to youtube.
We have been running this setup for a number of years without issue, but this has started
becoming an issue the last 3 weeks in a row with no change to our setup.
The webcast does not experience this, which makes me think there is a sync issue
between my switcher and my FCP machine.
    Any thoughts or ideas?
    Mac Pro
    3GHz Quad Core Intel
    16 GB Ram
    OS 10.6.8

Are you ABSOLUTELY sure there was NO change? (All sorts of problems can occur if you haven't turned off automatic updates.)
In any case, you might want to run Preference Manager from Digital Rebellion (free) to delete the FCP prefs. Sometimes they get corrupted and can cause some funky behaviors.
Otherwise, sounds like a question for Blackmagic technical support.

  • Can I use the iPad to create video of notetaking with audio?

I'm looking to use iBook Author to create some units of study for my students.  I want to create a video that is just of my notes (not of my hand writing the notes) and an audio of me explaining what I'm doing while I'm writing the notes.  Is there a way to use the iPad for this, or is there a program or an app that I could use for this?  I also have a MacBook Pro and an iPhone in addition to my iPad.
Edited to add: What I'm thinking of is somewhat like the Khan Academy uses to teach students in their videos.  It's just their writing with audio, but it's not a video of them writing, which makes me think that there's some app or software they're using to show the notetaking that records audio and turns it into a video.

Screenchomp is a good app that we use at a school for this - its owned by Techsmith, the same company that owns Jing and Camtasia, two leaders in the market. Two other options to look at (which I preferred to Screenchomp) are ShowMe and Educreations.
If you're just looking at a co Peter based solution for the MacBook, mid recommend screencast-o-matic.

  • How to make a video as mpeg_2 with audio together?

    Hi guys,
I just could not figure out how to compress a mpeg_2 video with audio in it, which means the video and the audio as a whole one file.
    I am using FCP 5.0.4
when i compress my finished video using compressor, it comes out two files, one video and one audio....
I am just wondering what is the setting could make these two dudes join together to be one media file.

To do it with Compressor 2, create a new preset based on MPEG2. To do this, open the Preset window and click the + menu in the upper right hand corner of the Settings tab. Select MPEG2 in this menu. In the inspector, click the Encoder icon near the top. Once you're in the encoder section, click the Extras tab and put a checkmark in Multiplexed MPEG-1/Layer 2 Audio. Click the other Encoder tabs to set other settings like size and quality/bitrate. Save your new preset after giving it a name and description at the top of the inspector window. Then use your new preset to compress your video.
Disclaimer: I haven't actually tried these settings but I have some confidence it may be what you're looking for.

  • Capturing screen with audio

    Hi Everybody,
How to capture the screen with audio?(WIthout camera or webcam).
    Is it possible?...
    Can anyone know?

    Welcome to the Sun forums.
    >
How to capture the screen with audio?(WIthout camera or webcam).>There are two parts to the 'capture' this problem, and they are probably each best done in its own separate thread.
    1) Gain screenshots at a regular rate (FPS), and store them as images (JPEG would be easiest). For getting the screenshots, use [Robot.createScreenCapture(Rectangle)|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/awt/Robot.html#createScreenCapture(java.awt.Rectangle)]. For saving the images, look to the [ImageIO.write()|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/javax/imageio/ImageIO.html#write(java.awt.image.RenderedImage,%20java.lang.String,%20java.io.File)] variants. After you get the idea of just how unworkable a 'screen size' animation is, you might also look to scale the images before saving them. ;-)
    2) Access (and store) the sound passing through the system.
Ironically, the second is much more tricky than the first. It is not the 'storing' that is a problem, so much as even detecting sound using JavaSound.
Once you have achieved all that, it is a matter of turning the JPEGs into a MOV, then adding the soundtrack.
Note that this is a relatively advanced project. From the little I know of you, I strongly recommend putting it aside for six months to a year, as you become more familiar with the language and APIs.

  • Problem with video capture device, with a virtual camera

I try to use Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3 with a virtual camera(DirectShow Filter) but met such a problem:
"Error connecting input preview RGB filter."
    "Failed with error 80004005:SetupInputVideoPreview(pFilter, pguidCategory)"
    "Failed with error ffffff97:SetupVideoPreview(pFilterSource)"
"Problem with video capture device. Please verify that the video capture device is working correctly and is not already in use."
However, it is good to use AMCap,
    what's the problem with FMLE.
Looking forward to your replies. Thx!

Did you ever figure out the problem/solution?

  • Video capture Cables with MSI StarForce 822 GeForce 3!

I have the VT64D and I woiuld very much like to know where to find the cables for this card, I need the A/V Cables... as I would like to have the full benefit of sound as well...
If anybody has this calbe/breakout box I would be Extremely interested in purchasing it...
    Thanks,
    Marc
PS: Its the second revision of Starforce 8822

If you have the Video Capture Driver installed then the video capture program should see it. On MSI site version 1.16 of the driver is available for download.
If you still have problems (e.g. too many frames lost) you can try using Virtual VCR (worked best in my case).

  • How To Remove FLVPlayback Video on Scene with Audio

I was trying to add a video for playback to be used in my Scene on Flash Professional CC. I imported the video and added it to my library, before adding it to my scene frame. My plan was to use the video and have its audio play in the background, while my Scene was running in the foreground. So I followed "Test Movie", then clicked on "In Flash Professional". I managed to have the Scene run in the foreground multiple times, while the video's audio was running in the background.
However, while editing my scene and my video, I accidentally added the FLVPlayback component to my frame. I clicked on "Window", then clicked on "Components", and opened the "Components" window. I then dragged "FLVPlayback" from the "Video" folder, onto my Scene frame. Now, whenever I  follow "Test [my] Movie", my scene shows in the foreground while the video, that is, its image, graphics and audio, at the same time, run in the background.
I want to get read of the "FLVPlayback" component so that I can get rid of the image and graphics running in the background when I "Test [my] Movie". I tried to reset my settings by clicking Ctrl+Alt+Shift and selecting my taskbar icon at the same time. I went through the whole process of restoring the default settings but it did not work.
Can anyone help? By the way I am using the Flash Professional CC Trial Version.

If you did a bunch of changes the only way to get back to how you had it before is to manually undo what you did yourself.
To get rid of the FLVPlayback component just select it on the stage if it's there and press delete. Then in the library select the component and its skin folders and delete those as well. You should then just have your video in the library and any other assets you imported yourself. Then you can place the video back on the timeline if that's how you'd like to play it.
