hi everyone,
i have a little question?
where can i find the usb 2.00 drivers for my k7n2g board.
on the disc i have read that i need to installwindows service pack 1 (sp1).
after istall this pack i isn't possible to install the usb 2.00 drivers.
is there a possibility todownload the usb 2.00 drivers

i install xp and then install sp1 then i go inte the "device manager" and chose automatic update on usb.
then it installs them right of without any trouble
im using the swedish version of xp
is it called device manager or hardware manager?
i mean the list where you can se all hardware in the computer and what irq they use.

You can't get there with GUID/GPT.
There are tips on making a USB flash device that is bootable.
You can set aside a small 6GB partition somewhere and put Windows 7 installer there and run it WHILE IN Windows.
Windows Vista can be upgraded in place to 7 RC.
You'll need NTFS (30-50GB).
Windows doesn't support FW for booting.
You can create a drive that has Master Boot Record.

Windows 7 USB 3.0 drivers for Dell inspiron 13 7000

When I got this laptop (Model P57g, Inspiron 13 7000 year 2014), I got used to windows 8.1. I frequently went on windows 7 PCs and I realized how much better Windows 7 is. So I installed it on my laptop. I have not regretted it at all.
So far the only problem is; I can't get the USB 3.0 ports to work as 3.0 ports, they work as 2.0 ports.
I have tried the following drivers:

I am not going back to Windows 8.1, but I will go to Windows 10 when it comes out.

Need USB 3.0 Drivers for HP Pavillion G4-2024tx Windows 8.1

I am having HP Pavillion G4-2024tx laptop.
Recently i installed Windows 8.1 operating system. I have Seagate Backup plus slim 2tb Hard drive with USB 3.0.
when i am copying the files from laptop to hard drive the copy speed im getting is 25-27 MB/s only.
Do i need to install USB 3.0 drivers seperately in my laptop?? If yes, Please provide me USB 3.0 drivers for windows 8.1 64-bit.

BSOD when bootcamp is installing USB 3.0 drivers on rMBP windows 7

I get the blue screen of dead when I run the bootcamp installer after I am done with windows 7 installation. This happens after it is trying to install the USB 3.0 drivers. Any suggestions?
p.s: as a result windows goes back to a restore point to be able to boot so I lose all other bootcamp dirvers as well.

I had the same issue, and luckily found a rude workaround. This concerns BootCamp 5.0.5033, but probably the same works in other versions too.
In Windows 7, download BootCamp5.0.5033.zip from Apple.
Unpack it, and then go to the folder BootCamp\Drivers\Intel\
Delete IntelxHCISetup.exe.
Run setup.exe in the BootCamp/ directory.
The xCHI stands for:

After deleting that file the driver installation goes through and there is no BSOD. Sound starts working etc. The downside is that skipping the xCHI driver installation probably means that some features of USB are not enabled (perhaps faster 3.0 speeds). Either Apple or Intel should fix this.

Unable to instal VOX USB 2.0 drivers in WINDOWS XP Prof. SP2

I am unable to instal drivers in Windows XP Prof. SP2 for VOX USB 2.0. When I instal drivers from manufacturer's CD, instalation tells me, that it cannot instal some update for XP SP1. But I have SP2, so it should be OK. Then, after computer restart, I connected VOX and windows could not recognize it and asked me for drivers. I tried to instal drivers manually from the cd, but windows always tells me, that it cannot find driver on CD. I tried to download latest drivers from MSI website, but I had the same problem with it. What should I do? I am unable to use the TV tuner
Could anybody write me exact procedure how to instal it, please please!

Yes, my system has USB 2.0. It is P4 2.4GHz Northwood, motherboard: MSI 648 Max, 1GB of DDRAM (333MHz), MSI GeForce 4 MX 460, SoundBlaster Live! player 1024, pci card with aditional USB 2.0 ports (NEC chipset), SIS 900 pci NIC, 2x WesternDigital Caviar 1200JB, pci IDE controller SiliconImage 0680a (harddisks are not connected as RAID), DVD-ROM Pioneer, DVD burner LG GSA-4163B.
I have tried to connect VOX directly to USB port on motherboard and also to NEC USB pci card, but it did not work anyway.
I have disconnected all USB devices from the computer, except the mouse.
Windows is updated from MS Windowsupdate website. I use Windows XP SP2 firewall and Microsoft Antispyware beta and antivirus software (I have tried to turn them off during the TV VOX installation, but it did not help).
And I also use power supply for TV VOX.

There are 3 usb ports on my laptop. two are usb3.0 , one is 2.0. the two 3.0 ports dont work and havent worked since i got this. i think it may be a driver problem but i cant find a driver for them.

You can test the ports at the firmware level by using the PC (UEFI) Diagnostics. Pres the power button and then tap the Esc key. Choose F2 from the startmenu. In the PC Diagnostics, choose the components test and then USB port.

X79A-GD45 windows 7 freezes during boot after bios upgrade/usb 3.0 drivers inst.

Hello,
After I upgraded my bios from 1.3 to 1.4 I noticed I still had some not properly installed hardware in the computer management screen, so I used live update 5 and found the the Renesas USB3.0 Drivers. The system runs fine, except from a cold start.
When starting the machine, windows freezes on the 4 colour logo, before the usb initializes (this I can tell from the keyboard not lighting up).
A forced reboot does not help. However, going in the bios (to check if all drives are functional) and then booting, does. After this the machine runs fine again.
Now my question is, is this caused by the new bios or by the Renesas USB3.0 Drivers? Or is it something completely different?

Using LU5 often ends up this way doing UEFI/BIOS updates dead board!

After a flash, it is also recommended to remove the power cord from the PSU, remove the battery for awhile, clear CMOS & reset.

USB 3.0 drivers for a downgraded laptop?

I've got a 17-e130us laptop that due to work requirements I had to downgrade from win 8.1 to win 7 x64 in order for our software to work properly.
The laptop has 2 USB 3.0 ports on the left side and 1 USB 2.0 port on the right. I went into the UEFI settings and setup all the legacy nonsense needed to get it up and running. I even installed win7 from a bootable flash drive.
But now when I plug in flash drives or anything while win7 is running the OS doesn't detect anything. Is there a driver I'm missing specifically for this? Can I use them as just 2.0 ports?
Or will I be stuck running all of my peripherals out of a single USB hub from the one 2.0 port? All of the other drivers installed fine, the laptop runs 2 external displays just fine using the VGA and HDMI ports, audio ports work fine.

Belkin USB wireless adaptor drivers

Does anyone know where I can get a driver for the belkin usb wireless adaptor? The one listed on their website only works with OSX 10.3 and not 10.4 installed on this machine? do apple provide any third party drivers for this problem? The machine is out of its applecare period so I can't ask apple themselves.

If Belkin doesn't have a driver compatible with 10.4 you're out of luck. Apple does not provide drivers for third party hardware.

15-e020ax specification request (USB + network controller drivers windows 7)

The long and short of this is that I can't get find Win7 USB + internet drivers for my HP Pavilion 15-e020ax notebook, because A: win7 isn't supported and B: there are no specifications provided by the Hp website -

Although the physical machine is an exceptional little beast ( ^_^ ) the lack of support for Windows 7 on this and the other HP laptop I bought (an awesome 17" e049wm) have left me struggling for several weeks now simply to get them operational. Most of the clients I work with (especially in empoverished regions) have just barely moved from Vista to 7, and I was surprised to buy two ~fresh-off-the-press laptops that couldn't handle Win7 (I refer the forum administrators to http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_os.asp). If the wc3 statistics are correct, Windows 7 use has decreased by 2% since the advent of Win8 in 2012, and is still far and away the most popular operating system in the sample. This is more than 3 times the user base of Windows 8. More than 3 times.

I don't work for HP, but HP only supports a handful of consumer PC's with drivers for windows 7.
They will never release a full range of driver support for all of their consumer products.
I'm sure that is because it costs more to develop and maintain drivers for multiple operating systems, which would drive the costs of the consumer products up.
HP only provides support for multiple operating systems for their business PC's.
HP is aware that the general market is not reacting favorably to W8, and therefore has introduced a small line of new consumer PC's that do come with W7.
If you want to purchase HP PC's with windows 7, here is a link to the models available with that OS.

The good news is that you can install W7 on almost every HP consumer PC on the market if you are willing to, and know where to find the appropriate drivers you need.

You want the first file listed on the webpage. That will install the smbus and usb 3 controllers.

I don't know what model wireless card that model comes with, but I can post the link to the driver you need if you do the following...
Go to the device manager, find the Other Devices category, and click on the Network Controller needing drivers.
Then click on the Details tab at the top of the network controller window.
Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.
Drop down on that and select the second item on the list (Hardware ID's).

CRIO USB Support software drivers

Hi everybody,
I'm working on a cRIO 9012 with a NI-9215 module on LabVIEW 2012 (evaluation version). The cRIO 9012 disposes of an USB port on which I put a stick.
I want to put data on my stick, I made a VI and use the path u:\texte.txt where "texte.txt" is already created in the USB stick.
I found in ni topics that I have to install "USB Support" software, I tried to add it on my RT target but it is not present in softwares' three. I get only "UBS passport", you can see it in attached picture.
I suppose that drivers/softwares are avaible but I don't find its. Somebody could get me out of this ?
