Usb connection not working for itouch

I have a 1st generation iTouch and when connecting to my laptop via usb, it does not show in iTunes.  Have worked through the online support steps and they did not remedy the issue.  Even downloaded the lates version of iTunes.

- Try here:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
- Try another cable
- Try another computer to help determine if a computer or iPod problem.

  • Corporate connectivity not working for some users

    Hi,
I'm having an issue that started about a month ago but is getting worse.  A select group of users are no longer able to connect using DirectAccess, even though these users have been using their computers for a few months without issue.
    BACKGROUND:
    -Windows 2008 R2 DirectAccess server
    -Windows 7 x64 enterprise clients
-Most clients experiencing the issue have a newer laptop (Lenovo T440 with Intel 7260AC wireless), but the issue is not limited to this model. Also, I have 25+ other Lenovo T440 units that connect without issue to this day.
    TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:
I have tried disabling the various interfaces used for directaccess on these problem machines and have not been able to narrow it down.  Essentially- I've noticed the IP-HTTPS interface shows deactivated, so I'll disable Teredo.  This
usually allows the IP-HTTPS to show activated, and connectivity is restored.  However, after 30 seconds to a few minutes, connectivity will once again drop.  So I'll re-enable teredo (default, client, or enterprise client) and connectivity will kick
on for another brief period, but drops again shortly after.
I have confirmed that during these short periods of connectivity working, the wf.msc shows connectivity using NTLM and Kerberos, but the clients just can't seem to stay connected on any interface.
However, in the wf.msc when the clients are not functioning, I only ever see one NTLM entry.

    LOGS:
Below is a directaccess client log pulled from a non-functioning client before making any changes or any testing.  Feel free to ask for the rest of the log if needed-- I have put in place holders for information that may be sensitive.  Thank you!!
RED: Corporate connectivity is not working.
Windows is unable to relocationve corporate network names. Please contact your administrator if this problem persists.

  • SAP NetWeaver BW Connection not working for SBOP4.0

    Hello Experts,
Following are the steps & current patches:
    SBOP 4.0
    Dashboard Design , version: 6.0.0.0
    SAP Logon
    Release : 720
    Patch: 5
    1. SAP BW  & NetWeaver Portal are not SSO(Single Sign-on)
    2. I open the Dashboard Designer
    3. Click on "Manage Connection"
    4. Select 'SAP NetWeaver BW Connection'
    5. It pops-up the Log-on screen
    6. Pass on the required information
    7. Use the  query browser & selected the query
    8. it takes the query with no error message
    Issue:
    1. It is not showing the Input values & Output values
Not able to display the BW Bex Query element using Dashboard Designer - SAP NetWeaver BW Connection.
Please let me know if we are missing any config. or step.
    Thanks
    Mahendra

Thanks Amit for your suggestions. I tried the below steps & still it is not working:
    1. re-installed Adobe version 10.1
    2. Tried to connect the BW Bex query using SAP NetWeaver BW connection.
    3. I am getting no error but Dashboard designer is not able to display the Input values & Output values of the BW BEx query
As I had mentioned you earlier that when I open the Bex report using the designer using the IE, it calls the portal window & I have to enter the LDAP password then the report opens in the portal.
So I think as our BW & portal are not configured as SSO so when the Dashboard designer tried to load the query from the xml file it fails. It may be because it required my LDAP login credentials.
Please let me know your suggestions.
    Thanks
    Mahendra

  • USB keyboard not working for login

I use a usb extented  keyboard on my iMac 3.06Mhz and at startup it is not being recognized. I have to use my bluetooth keyboard to enter this question.
How or why is this a Problem. it was working fine before I made the installation of 10.9 ... but I was having intermittent problems w/ 10.8

Maybe it needs to be plugged into the Mac before it goes to sleep...
Because when it wasn't letting me type anything I tried every USB port on the Mac itself, as well as the monitors, and even using an extender. Nothing worked.
However, I did eventually leave the keyboard plugged into the Mac and it woke up without a problem this morning. So, I'm hoping your solution did the trick!
    Thanks

  • Mac Pro 2014 USB Keyboard not working for log-in.

I have a Mac Pro 2014 with two thunderbolt displays and an apple USB keyboard.  Whenever I boot up the computer the keyboard doesn't seem to work at first.  Often I get hung up on the log-in screen pushing keys to no effect until the bluetooth keyboard dialog comes up.  Then after that sits fruitlessly looking for a non-existent keyboard for about 30sec the USB keyboard will start to work.  In total I'd say this delays logging in by about a minute.  During this whole time the USB mouse and Wacom tablet work.  After logging in everything works fine.
Also this might be related, if the computer goes to sleep it can take several attempts to wake it up before I'll get a login screen.

Mine was also fresh out of the box. My reseller in Iceland could verify this and this was the solution. I first thought it was the Icelandic keyboard. Reported it as bug.

  • T430 USB keyboard not working for HD password during boot

    Ladies and Gentleman,
    I have a large problem.
    I use a T430 with a port replicator.
I need to set a Boot password and a HD Password.
When I boot the T430 in the port Replicator, the usb keyboard is not recognized and I had to open the T430 to enter the password.
I tried different Bios settings, nothing helped.
It seems to me that the keyboard drivers are not loaded at that time.
Before I had a W500 and a port replicator. Worked without problems.
    Any help is welcome.
    Ralf

Sorry. On my T430s, the USB3 port on the left starts faster than the always-on port on the back, so I hook a port replicator to that port. Is this the Lenovo port replicator or aftermarket? (I assume you are talking about a USB port replicator and not a docking station) Is the port replicator powered by an external power supply? I always plug in the power supply to the port replicator before I start the laptop.

  • Manual Sync does not work for Itouch

    HELP!
when I open Itunes, and click on my device, the summary page has "Open iTunes when this iPod is connected" and "Manually manage music and videos" checked.
But then when I go to the Music tab, All Songs and Playlists is grayed out, but checked. And also, Selected Playlist is grayed out, but not checked. When I click on "Sync Music", it will say that all contents on my ipod will be erased and synced with the items in the Library.
I have also tried to drag and drop the contents that I have recently downloaded and it also doesn't update my device. Please help as I am at my wit's end!!

The tabs won't open instantly as you click on sync. To access them, go to History -> Tabs from other Computers. Or in a new tab, type 'about:sync-tabs' in the address bar. (Assuming the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-manage-my-firefox-sync-account#w_how-do-i-select-the-data-that-i-want-to-sync_2 sync settings] are correct).

  • Outlook: "Send Immediately when connected" not working for Word 2010

When i disable the option in Outlook "Send Immediately when connected" the messages are placed in the Outbox until i send them manually.
But when i want to send a Word 2010 document from within Word 2010 by E-Mail the message is send immediately.
Is it possible to place the message/document in the Outbox just like with Outlook?
    Thnx in advance.

    Hi,
I cannot reproduce this problem in my environment. When I send a Word document by clicking File > Save & Send > Send as Attachment, it just go to the Outbox like the common message.
Does this issue happen to all Word documents at any time?
What's the send/receive interval you set in your Outlook? It could still occur that your message will be sent near instantly when you send a message right before the automatic send/receive interval takes place.

A reply to similar question (Q & As , in product page Apple Store) says:
"...dissable the internal reader hardware from devices setup. Then plug the external usb superdrive and that's it."  Answered by Enrique T from Lima Oct  25 2013.
If you can locate an external Apple USB 'Air" superdrive for earlier model MacBook Air, that should work. The newer one for the Air is the same as for iMac, now.
You may be able to use other brands of external USB optical drive with your older intel-based iMac, as some of them function capably. A few should also be able to see system discs or other bootable utilities on DVD.
    Hopefully this helps.
    Good luck & happy computing!

Have you updated iTunes with the absolute latest software?  If you have not in a long time, your iPad won't be recognized.

I am connected to the internet through a Verizon Wireless card, that is my regular internet connection.

I did all that HT1925 recommended and it was no help.  My computer still won't recognize my iPhone.  Often trying to start Apple Mobile Device Service fails with an error message that it starts and then stops immediately.
