USB ERROR

I have a problem with my usb.
I can't make any usb connection due to this.
after running a usb test, it shows me this massage:
Failure IDgekk0-6s27j8-mfpwxf-8d3003

Hi,
Perform a hard reset and do test again to see if fails again:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01684768
If yes, USB fail by the diagnostics indicates replacing the motherboard is the only option.
If your notebook is under warranty, it will be covered by HP warranty:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/weInput?cc=us&lc=en
Contact HP: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
If your not under warranty, you can get help from any good reliable local computer service shop.
Page 74 in the Manual:

HP part number: 713258-501, the motherboard for your model
If your out of warranty, replacing board is somewhat costly and time costuming affair considering the part cost, labor charges & fixing other issues arising from it like BIOS tattooing. Buying a notebook with better specs or even same one now would be cheaper sometimes.

  • USB Errors while trying to install 64 bit Arch

I'm trying to install Arch onto some brand new hardware. I am installing using the Arch Netboot environment.
When I try to install 64 bit Arch, I get the following errors straight after archiso.img is downloaded and the kernel is booted:
    usb 2-5: device descriptor read/64, error -32
    usb 2-5: device descriptor read/64, error -32
    usb 2-5: device descriptor read/64, error -32
    usb 2-5: device descriptor read/64, error -32
usb 2-5: device not accepting address 4, error -32
usb 2-5: device not accepting address 5, error -32
hub 2-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 5
The same lines appear for usb 4-1, 6-5 and 7-1. The only USB device that is plugged in is the USB key that I booted ipxe.lkrn from.
Googling seems to point to a kernel module that needs to be loaded earlier or a faulty USB controller. I do not know how to change what kernel modules are used during installation, and I'm fairly certain the USB controllers are fine. Its a brand new motherboard and I can access my USB key fine (I can boot from it) in any of the available USB ports.
I was close to giving up until for some reason I decided to try and install the 32 bit version of Arch instead. This worked as expected and I am sent to the archiso installation prompt without seeing any of the same USB errors.
Can someone please assist me with this? I would really prefer to have the 64 bit version installed.

    https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=158206
This seems to be related, although my errors are giving error -32 instead of -110.
Is there a way I can force the installation environment to use kernel 3.7.6? Does the 32 bit installer use a different kernel to the 64 bit installer?
Is there a way I can use the 32 bit installation environment to install 64 bit as well as the 3.7.6 kernel?

  • USB error, bluetooth and sleep

    Hi
I am having problems on my Macbook Pro C2D with 10.5.4 and the latest security update. It is intermittent and involves immediate re awake from sleep, bluetooth becoming unavailable and log messages about USB. I have tried PRAM and SMC resets, safe boot, repair permissions, hardware check etc. and I have searched Apple support and googled the web for no result. Can anyone shed any light on this? When the issue occurs the console log reports:

nice... i am having usb problems also and it is all because of adding the bluetooth adapter!!!
i wanted it for the keyboard... but it knocks out other devices. i have a wired mouse (was thinking of getting a wireless until today) and it and the bluetooth were the only things showing in the system profiler yet i had an eyetv 250 plus plugged in?!?! it would come back after restarting but then out of no where it drops away?!?!
i finally unplugged the bluetooth adapter and everything started working again?!?!?! stinks... i don't know if adding a pci usb card will help or not?!?! i thought if i could seperate the bluetooth from the system's usb hub it might stop the problems... will have to wait and see! i got too many other upgrades pending to worry about this thing... i am just going to return it.

  • Printer stops... usb error 79

    Hi,
I've researched this problem on several forums and found only three similar reports with no solutions offered.
I've a Brother MFC printer that has worked fine for two years.... I can print a small amount of text at which point the printer queue reports that the printer has stopped... and a USB error of 79.
I've deleted and reinstalled drivers. Searche for updated drivers.... swapped cables, tried by USB 2.0 card and also the built-in USB 1.0. Other usb devices seem to be OK.
My next step is to find a printer that I know works and try that one... unless someone out there has already seen this problem
    Thanks,
    iltfp

    How sweet it is.
    Many thanks.
I stepped through the process above.... the Printer Setup Repair is nice software. I ran everything that it offers. It repaired a few permissions but otherwise everything was Ok.
I still had the same problem.... . which caused me to go back to basics: steps one, two, and three.... checking connections (again) and cables (again). But this time with conviction that my printer and the computer were not the problem.
I swapped out a USB extension cable... and bingo, it now works. I've printed a few documents. I swapped the extension cable back in, and reproduced the problem.
This solves the problem, but does not solve the puzzle for me because the cable has worked up until now (over a year), and it has not been abused in any way. The cable works with my other usb devices. Perhaps cleaning a port?
Interesting... but now that the printer is working, without the extension, I'll leave this little mystery and move on. I've learned about some great trouble shooting software while also giving myself a tour of the utilities that come bundled with the OS. Since the software and hardware just work... I've never had to open the hood to see what is inside. Nice. Very nice.
    So many thanks....

  • U260 crashes and USB error

My 5 month old U260 was working fine until recently, when I keep on getting code 43 as a USB error regardless of how much I try to disable and enable it. I've scoured the forums and can't seem to find a reason or solution for this - it's a serious problem because there is only one USB port that works for the most frequent type of USBs
The second problem is that it keeps on crashing. Sometimes I can barely start it before it crashes, but other types it will be a few hours in.
Can anyone help with either problem? I haven't dropped it or damaged it at all as far as I know.
    Thanks!

Need more detailed info on ''The second problem is that it keeps on crashing''
    That's Windows crashing,right?
Are you getting any error messages,or the like?
When did this problem first start*
    After an update perhaps(driver(s) programs,Windows?
Did you try a system restore ?
    Did you do any troubleshooting?
    The OS is W.7 ?

  • NI-FBUS USB error

I had this device working yesterday but updated the configuator software and now I the USB device cannot connect. I have it connected to an FF Hub as shown in pictures. I have checked the drivers and they all say they are up to date. This device works on other machines and other devices that work don't work on this machine.

               Hello
    -          The description for your error is: Code 10 Device Failed to start: Update driver, you may also be able to resolve this issue by removing the device in device manager, and going through the Add New Hardware Wizard.
    -          According to that description and because you updated software, something happened with your driver, so you would try to repair it.

I have an iphone  5s, does not boot, blinking white screen with black logo, when trying itunes restore from mac and pc, error code 4013 which is usb error, any ideas?  Does a totally dead battery have that effect?  I have had it plugged in to a computer overnight, but maybe does not charge when totally dead?

    Hi eggroll77,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
That alert codes does suggest there is a USB related issue. If you haven’t already, try the troubleshooting suggestions in the article linked below.

  • NX 6125 too much time to complete POST. USB error

I have been having some issues over the last week or two
NX 6125 takes too much time to boot. I'm dual booting it , Windows XP and Linux Mint.
It takes more time to complete the POST, during POST, LEDs on all the USB devices attached to it will go ON & OFF.
then comes the boot menu. from that step onwards it works normally.
Once it boots into Windows, there is a pop up "USB device malfunctioned" which keeps on coming even if no devices are attached to USB.(it has an internal card reader and fingerprint reader module)
While using Linux, the kernel throws the error "  [ 2094.490070] hub 1-0:1.0: connect-debounce failed, port 2 disabled "
Checked the RAM with memtest and hdd with self test from BIOS, says OK.
The major issue is it can't boot from any other devices other than internal harddisk !
Previously I could boot Linux frm DVDs and bootable USB drives.
Windows XP cd when booted gives "NTLDR missing" error.
    Kindly help me.

card reader is a usb device, not sure about the fingerprint reader.
one of them has malfunctioned. check the card reader slot for debris.
You may have to open up the  notebook and disconnect the card reader, see if the error stops.

  • NI 845x USB: Error -301713 occurred at Property Node (arg 2) in General I2C Read.vi

    Hello,
I am currently working  with digital accelerometer LIS35DE from ST Microelectronics. I want to start with tests of this device. For that purpose I used NI 845x USB to connect with accelerometer via I2C. Unfortunately, when I made electrical connections and set up parameters of communication and run the program (I found it in examples) the following error occured:
Error -301713 occurred at Property Node (arg 2) in General I2C Read.vi
    Possible reason(s):
NI-845x:  An input parameter, or combination of parameters, is invalid. An example of this error may be setting an invalid baud rate or enabling I2C ACK polling while using 10-bit addressing.
The code can be found in attachements. I couldn't find any extended description of this problem. What could be a problem: incorrect device address, register address, configuration parameters?
    Any help is appreciated!
    Best regards,
    Michael

    Hi MicMac89!
First of all could you please post which version of LabView are you using?
Could you please tell me which version of 845X hw are you using? (8451 or 8452)
I opened the example you attached. As you wrote the error occurs at the second argument of the property node. (I guess this is the first property node where the error occurs.)
This argument of the property node enables the onboard pull-up resistors. But not all NI-845x hardware support pull-up resistors. (Because of this is important to know which hw version are you using.)
Did you try the example with disabling the pull-up resistors?
I suggest you to go through the Manual of this product, (if you did this not yet) This could make it clear where and when to use what kind of pull-up resistors.
For example: If you are using 8452, you must enable pull-up resistors, for Vref ≤ 1.8 V for the FPGA to properly detect a low-to-high transition
    Manual: http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/371746d.pdf
    HW specification: http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/290598a.pdf
Please post if my suggestions helped. Of course if you have any questions, don't hesitate to post them.

  • SL & USB error message

I use this particular Mac as a workstation for Logic Pro. I have two USB cables connected to the computer. One is for a powered hub (hosting a midi interface and an iLok key) and the second is for an audio interface. These devices are plugged into a power strip. Before I finish a session, I turn off the power strip to which these devices are connected. I then get the following error message on the Mac:
"Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled. To prevent damaging your computer, the USB device drawing too much power has been disabled. Other devices may have also been disabled. When you disconnect the device drawing too much power, your other USG devices will be enabled again."
Is this a problem? Am I doing the computer any harm? I'd rather not be reaching around the back of the iMac to unplug the USB cables every time I turn off the power strip if I don't have to.
    Thanks for any thoughts,
    Jim

    Hey DaddyPaycheck,
Thanks for the reply. Here's what I do, in order.
    1. Quit Logic.
    2. Disconnect external hard drives.
    3. Turn off power strip to which the powered USB hub is connected. This is when I get the error message.
So after I cut the power to the USB hub, is it the trying to draw power from the computer? I'm not sure where else I can connect the hub. The computer has a wireless keyboard, so no USB port there. And I could always disconnect by pulling the plug on the back of the machine (though being an iMac, it's a pain to get reconnected as everything is in the back and virtually invisible). My other option is to just leave the power strip on and say screw it.
    Jim

  • Even with nothing connected to my Mac Pro, I get a USB error message

Even with nothing connected, I get this error message:
Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled.
I have restarted a few times and restarted in safe mode, and reset the PRAM and it is still there.
    Any ideas?

Even with the mouse and keyboard unplugged, I got the same error message. It always gives me 5 warning messages in 5 separate dialog boxes. The 2 USB ports on the front of the machine are disabled, and the 3 in the back are ok.
Profiler recognizes the "Hub in Apple Pro Keyboard" that lists the keyboard and the USB laser mouse (Logitec).
I'll give the SMC reset a try, but I have read in another thread where it didn't work for the guy with the problem, and his final solution was a complete re-install of the system software. I'm thinking maybe an upgrade to Lion 10.7 might fix it without having to rebuild my whole computer. I'm using 10.6.8.
    -I'm still perplexed.

    rc.conf -> http://pastebin.com/eJTXVt1L
    mkinitcpio.conf -> http://pastebin.com/u90UQ8kt
udev is actually after base. I'm going to try linux-lts now, I'll let you know, and obviously thanks for your help
EDIT: using lts kernel, I rebooted 5 times and everything works fine, no error message at all
    DSpider wrote:
Post these files (preferably using pastebin.com):
    /etc/rc.conf
    /etc/mkinitcpio.conf
"udev" should be after "base". For example:
HOOKS="base udev autodetect pata scsi sata usbinput filesystems fsck"
    Then regenerate your initramfs:
    # mkinitcpio -p [your linux preset, since you're using linux-ck... I don't know]
For the kernel from the [core] repo, it's:
    # mkinitcpio -p linux
Speaking of kernels, does it happen with linux-lts too?

  • CM1312 NFP: WIndows 7: USB Error message ~"Lost Connection"

With the 1312 connected to my Windwos 7 desktop, periodically Windows gives an error message that indicates that it has lost connection to the printer.  Unplugging and replugging the USB cable fixes the problem.  Otherwise the print & scan functions work perfectly.  Symptomatically it appears as if the printer goes to sleep and stops responding to whatever "keep alive" messages Windows might be sending.  Is there a setting in the printer, in Windows or in the printer driver software that can prevent this message?
BTW, the other way to work around this problem is to just access the printer via the Ethernet but the scan funciton is not accessible via the network (an unfortunate limitation).

    aluniewski,
I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .
    I hope this helps.

  • Power Mac G4 USB error after 10.4.7

    Hello,
I’ve installed the 10.4.7 update on my Power Mac G4. After the installation I have problems with my USB devices.
After I’ve put my Mac into standby, i've attached my USB Hard disk and the Mac do nothing, all USB devices I’ve plugged were not recognized by the system.
The Buttons of my Cinema display are not in function after the standby mode.
These errors are not explicit after a standby, in some case also after I started my Mac.
Another problem is, if my external Hard disk running, the computer doesn't go into standby. But the screen stays black.
Can anyone help me in this reason?
    Thanks for your replies
    macpodG4

after i waked up my mac and sometimes after the startup. my iPod and all devices from apple and third party devices are not in function. If i disconnect the mouse and plugged them again the system don't recognize them. and also when i disconnect the keyboard the computer can't connect to them.
when i open the system profiler in the apple menu the devices were not listed again.
i think thats an explicit problem from 10.4.7

  • Windows USB error 43

I bought my iPod Touch 4G mid year and have used it for non-music related functions on various versions of iOS4 without "too" much aggro.
    I have 3 PC's (2 x Desktop Windows 7) (1 x Notebook XP)
iTues (latest) installed on 1 of the Win7 Desktops and the Notebook XP.
Each machine has it's own iPod USB cable.
We also have 2 iPod Dock Stereo units and a wall charger.
My partner also has an iPod 4G that see uses for music.
Due to our differing requirements, I DO NOT use iTunes for day to day management of my iPod as I only plug it into a PC to transfer Photos via Windows Explorer on the PC WITHOUT iTunes.
When i need to upgrade the OS etc, I use the Netbook (XP).
I did buy 2-3 songs from itunes that we both liked and transfered them to her library via the iTunes on the Netbook.
Until a few weeks ago (and a few weeks after going to iOS5.1) my iPod was recognised and charged in all 3 PC's.
Suddenly, with no downloads or changes, the next time I went to connect it to the PC with Windows 7 and iTunes I got device not recognised.
The Windows device reports an error 43 and the Driver not working etc.
I then tried the PC with Windows 7 and NO iTunes. Same thing not recognised, Error 43 and won't charge.
Plug it into the Netbook with Windows XP, recognised striaght away and charges !?!
It cheges fine from all Stereos and Wall charger.
So without warning and at the same time 2 PC's won't even recognise, connect to nor charge my Ipod but 1 does !?!
My partners iPod still works on all 3!!
    * From the above we can determine that there is nothing wrong with the iPod as it works on at least 1 PC.
    * There is nothing wrong with the 2 PC's as the other iPod woks fine on them and their cables.
Is there some way that iTunes could have "locked" my iPod from working on these PC's !??!
If I can't find an answer on here, some poor bugger at the local Apple Store is going to be on the end of my frustraition at this so all help appreciated..if only for their sake !!!

What happen when you googled error 43 usb hub?
Not an iphone issue, but an issue with your computer.  Try restarting it.
