USB on right side of Mac not working... Help?

The USB port on the right side of my Mac stopped working... how can i fix this myself or at least find out what went wrong??

Your best option is an appointment at an Apple store genius bar. The evaluation will be free.
I am not aware of any user repair possible to a USB port. The Ports are integral with the logic board.

Turning Touch on its Side...NOT WORKING HELP!?!?!?

I am a new Apple user so please be nice
I just got my Ipod Touch in the mail today and have been fooling around with it for a few hours now.
When I try and turn the Ipod on its side (so that you get the landscape view of photos, websites, or the CD Cover catalog), it doesn't always work.
Sometimes I have to flip the Touch back and forth 15 times at all different angles before the a photo switched from Portrait View to Landscape view.
Is there a trick to turning it on its side, or is this a defective Touch? Any thoughts?

It seems that if I tilt it up and turn it on its side, then it switches to landscape view, but if I have it laying flat in my palm, and just rotate my palm, it doesn't move.
Is this normal?

Please kindly help me on this, I am from Pakistan and I got my Blackberry Classic delieved to me from USA my cousin bought it from online blackberry store and brought it by hand. Just now i have noticed that my blackberry classic left side speaker is not working only ringing sound music sound and loudspeaker sounds are coming from the right side of the speaker.
Has anyone faced this problem with his new classic and what should i do?

Knowing this that classic comes up with only one speaker did broke my heart But to be honest the sound is excellent even at high volume the sound does not distort. its a genuien stereo speaker

Skype 6.3 upgrade for Mac not working

BE WARNED - just because you are being asked to upgrade your Skype, it does not mean it will work on your machine. I am a fairly regular user of Skype and this morning was unable to log-in, being told that I needed to upgrade. I did so to 6.3.0.602 but I was unable to log-in once the software had downloaded. After some research on the forums and finally a text chat with Support, I was told that Skype 6.3.0.602 requires a Mac OSX of 10.9 or above - I have 10.5.8
"So what can I do", I asked the tech support. The answer is nothing (unless I get new OS X software) - there is no Skype software programme that supports my operating system and no timeframe for when it might be available.
Huh? That's right. It's just not available. So for now, users with less than OS X 10.9 will be unable to use Skype when they are instructed to upgrade. It really doesn't make sense. But just so you know....

Please look at the top of the community page, and you will find a box "Search:". Write your problem here "Upgrade not working" and see what crops up. Here you will read that the latest versions of Skype will not work on some of the versions of MacOS, and that PPC requires one version, Leopard another, Snow leopard another, Mountain Lion another. They are indoctrinated with a stamp in their forehead to enforce their congregation of true believers to install the latest with all "security fixes" or death is looming. They are not used to software that is 2 years old.
So, with Mac, we have different operating systems and different sets of libraries - and things may go belly up if you upgrade - a OS feature is done differently, a libary has been placed inside the OS, and is no longer needed - and if you try to use it, you will be trapped.
Install the latest version that works for your Mac, and make sure to freeze this. Update the "info.plist" file and tell Skype that you use their latest should they pry. As long as it works, do not change anything!
And make the change to stop Skype from checking every time you start.

The only thing you can do is place the iPod in Recovery mode and restore via iTunes on a computer. It is a good security feature.

Client Side Javascript Validation not Working in Struts 1.x version

I'm following the steps provioded in the below link for Javascript Client side validation but still it is not working.I'm struggling to get this work.

I was typing a paper last night when the electricity went off, and 5min later went back on, and all the display speakers, the camera display, and all the USB outputs in the back are not working.
FYI, it's LED Cinema display.

Actually BACK is standard user command so it is not stopping and going to selection screen.
Give some other use command like 'BCK' and try....

My shift-r, right shift-f, and right shift-v is not working.

I've seen questions in the forum about shift-r not working, I've looked into my system preferences and it appears there are no short cuts associated with shift-r. My right shift-f and right shift-v are not working either. I'm using a new iMac (10.7.2) with the bluetooth keyboard that came with it. If I use caps lock I can get capital R, F and V. It's very strange. I'm assuming it's a setting that's messed up versus a bum keyboard? Thanks for any help you can give!

Good deal, glad it's taken care of. I had a wireless keyboard on which the caps lock key stayed lit all the time, even though it did turn the lock on and off. And sometimes it wouldn't light at all. I took it (just the keyboard) to a local AASP and they checked it out and called to say my new keyboard was ready to be picked up.

Find My Mac not working for a non-admin account

I would appreciate some advice, or comment, on what I perceive is "Find my Mac" not working.
I use a Mac Mini (late 2009) to run my home media; it on 7/24, connected to a drobo drive and is running the latest Mac OX X Lion. I did a complete erase and install of the OS, and the recovery partition IS there.
I use an auto-login account, but with no administrative privileges. There is no monitor, keyboard or mouse connected to it, but in case it gets stolen, I want to find it.
When I log in with an admin account, I can turn on Find My Mac, under icloud prefs. When I relog into the normal user account, this preference is greyed out, and says "Needs administrative authorization".
So, is Find my Mac running, cause I turned it on with an admin account, or not?
If no, how do I make sure it is always running?

These are the notes of the steps I took which finally got my MBP to appear in FMM:
I clicked on the MBP remove device-> I took the MBP Wi-Fi off line-> I went to iCloud Pref's, unchecked find my Mac-> turned Wi-Fi back on-> went to iCloud pref's re-checked 'Find my Mac'-> went online to iCloud.com, selected the MBP, which had found it's location. I sent a message and sound to the MBP from the Mac mini, which instantly came up on the MBP.
SO, eventually my MBP 'Find my Mac' is working.

I had that problem with Debian and later Arch, after I messed something up (never found out what). There was a chaotic but easy cure though (I've got no idea, why it did that on 3 different installations the exact same way - might be a logitech-keyboard issue or something... me-as-user-related)?:
- do all keyboard changes needed in xorg.conf NOW, had to repeat "strange steps" after each change.
- add new keyboard layout (no changes to default) in gnome keyboard settings
- delete old keyboard layout
- browse trough the keyboard layout "previews" of the newly added layout until it crashes (this step might be optional *g*)
- restart gnome, add "new new" layout, delete "new old" keyboard layout, and set the "new new" layout right (try evdev-manages first, then switch to youkeyboard/yourlocal if that didn't do it).
