USE 2 identical creative cards (XFI-Ti, ZS2, ...)

Hi everyone, I?m currently testing Windows 7, news drivers of creative works fine and Microsoft allows to play the same sound on multiple cards/channels; different sounds on different channels witch is really nice.
My problem is, and was also the case on Xp, if I connect 2 Creative identical cards, even if it's recognise by the system in the system management, it's impossible to access to the second one. Creative console is disable and also no more upgrade from creative website (hardware not recognise or detected)
Do someone know any issue to use 2 identical creative cards?

Now I must say, that is a great idea..........two cards in the machine at once? Please keep reporting on your results. I have seen users in other forums use the Microphone of their onboard chipset, but not the sound, and then use a Creative or Auzentech for sound. Two cards of identical brand and make though? Creative Cloud background service constantly uses high-performance graphics card on MacBook Pro

On my MacBook Pro mid-2010, I recently noticed that the high-performance graphics card for some reason was constantly on. In MacBooks as of 2009, there are two graphics cards that can be used, one integrated, one PCIe. The integrated one is less powerful, but is used to preserve battery. The other one is enabled when there is a high demand for graphics power.
I saw that when the Creative Cloud service (with this I mean the general software package that tracks for updates and syncs fonts and files) was loaded into the system, the MacBook automatically starts using this high-performance graphics card, even without any other software running, just freshly from boot. This, of course, drains battery and I don't think that much power is needed to run a background service. The only way to stop the high-performance graphics card from kicking in, is by terminating the complete Creative Cloud service, which is of course not very useful when you use the sync feature a lot.
Is there a solution for this problem, or can you release an update of the software that addressess this issue?
If I need to provide you with logs or other relevant information, please let me know.

Helped me to notice that it's better to quit Photoshop if not using it because it still uses the nVidia GPU if Photoshop is not even the active application (eg. running in the background).
But still, sometimes after closing Photoshop, gfxCardStatus says that nVidia GPU is in use for process 'Creative Cloud'.
I'm mostly running on battery and nVidia GPU consumes much, much more battery than the integrated, Intel HD Graphics 4000 so this is a big issue for me.

I am trying to change the email address associated with my existing account to free up my university email address for use in obtaining Creative Cloud. Every time I go to the account settings of my existing account (which currently uses my university email, as I set it up years ago and had no idea it'd eventually cause problems), I enter a different email to use for that account but I continuously receive an error message saying "account changes cannot be saved." It makes me think that it's because the email isn't verified (funny, it actually is verified since it has been the alternate email on the old account for years), but when I click the "send verification email" nothing happens (that is, no email is sent to that other email address).
Anyway, my university is now requiring that faculty create new accounts using our university email addresses in order to register/use Creative Cloud. Am I able to delete my old account, or can anyone help me actually change the email address associated with my old account without getting a "changes can't be saved" error?

9Bug Found and Fix Found> Creative ZEN XFI Style 32 Gig?Hello I was having problems getting my MP3 TAGS to show up on a number of my MP3's.
Whenever I loaded my files onto my ZEN it would show up as a Voice under Recordings.
And the file name would be "MIC and the date file created etc..."
I noticed that these files where all starting with the letters MIC at the front of the filename...
For instance: Michael_Jackson_Thriller.mp3?? or? Michael_W_Smith_Let_it_rain.mp3
and so on and so on... ANY file that started with the letters M I C? would be thrown in as a voice recorded file and the TAG would not operate.
I have the latest Firmware on my MP3 Player.
The fix was just to change the file name so it did not start with MIC... so i went and switched Michael Jackson to M.Jackson and also switched Michael W Smith to M W smith.
The tag showed up appropriately and I have had no problems since.
It would be nice if there was another Firmware update so that MP3's could start with the letters MIC also I was hoping to bring awareness to this situation for other users.

I used Windows Media Player to sync the files.
I used Creative Central to transfer the files.
These two methods produced results where the file starting with MIC turned into a voice recordings.
I also had problems just copying and pasting the files (using windows explorer).
I have not had any problems with any other file. I normally use MP3Tag to tag my files.
However i even tried using Windows Media to tag the file and I even tried using Creative Central to tag the files.
I tried as many work arounds as possible. But once i renamed the file it worked.

What good are Creative cards then?

After reading the "Response to forum questions and latest updates" thread I have concluded that there's nothing special about Creative cards anymore.

Yes. The architecture of Vista doesn't allow a feature like CMSS-3D to operate in hardware for applications that use the Microsoft API's. If a game for example uses OpenAL, then CMSS-3D will run in hardware but if a Microsoft API is used it operates on the host within Windows Vista's application level effects architecture.
In other words, CMSS 3D, EAX and other technologies are only going to be hardware accelerated in games that support OpenAL (or going around this with Alchemy).
So what's so special about Creative cards then? What are we shelling most of our money on? The software/drivers?

I also have read Creative's answer on CMSS and I want to ask a question. This answer about CMSS I have read is beatiful and has a lot of letters and words in it, but... it doesn't really answer the question. Will there be CMSS implemented into Creative's drivers? Personally I don't care how CMSS is going to be processed - with hardware or software, I am interested in button at EAX console called "CMSS", so when I press it - this function works.
I have Audigy 2 NX by the way.

This must be possible! My main problem here is that I cannot find anyway to clone my main output, let me explain.
I have my digital piano plugged into Line in
I have my headphones plugged into the first Line out (these work fine)
I have my TV (plugged in via 3.5mm jack) plugged into line out 2 (the one next to the green one)
My TV is setup as a second monitor so I can watch films etc. All I want to do is get what I hear in my headphones on the television at the same time. I don't want to have to plug my TV into the green lineout everytime I want to use it.
While we're on the subject, is there anyway I can remap the inputs, at the moment if I wanted to plug in my digital piano and a mic at the same time I can't. The irony is I upgraded from my absolute rubbish Realtek AC97 onboard audio device which could do all of the above. Surely this is possible?
Any help would be appreciated.

Creative Zen XFI Online Problems

Hi folks,
today I received a Creative Zen XFI 6GB WLAN MP4 Player to Christmas.
I configured it and I set up the Creative Media Server. It all works perfectly, I can watch the Filmn on my PC and hear the mp3s.
But there is one problem. I want to listen to Online Streams. How do I do this? Please help me
And would it be possible to rip the Online Stream to the Player instantly? That would also be nice.
Except of this 2 little problems the Player is realy awesome Nice work guys and **bleep**ing good Sound

Two identical sim cards?

I have both a Windows Phone and an Android. Sometimes (at work) I use the WP. Other times the Android. To do this now, I have to switch the sim card from one to the other. Is it possible to have 2 identical sim cards so that I can turn on a phone and go?

Great question! I realize it would be quite useful to have both, however, the SIM card has a unique number tied to your phone number. When you activate another SIM card, the old one no long works. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Alternatives to Creative cards for Vi

I've wasted enough time trying to get my creative cards to run Dolby Digital or DTS through SPDIF on Vista. I've bought enough cards, cables, boxes, converters and software to feed my family for a week. Enough.
I need an opinion on what card I should buy that supports (all of) the following:?-Vista-5. Channel surround sound or higher-DTS-Dolby Digital-SPDIF (coaxial or optical connection)?If anyone knows of any cards that do some or all of the above, please post here. This will be a useful resource for not only myself, but pretty much everyone using vista. Thanks guys!

After wasting this much time on creatives cards, of course I googled alternati'ves. But to no avail. Also, there are no strict rules governing the discussions to cards not manufactured by creative labs. In fact that promotes healthy compeition. In addition to that, I feel that when creative's products fail to perform their intended function, it is only fair for me to use their resources (forums) to try and regain that intended function.

Go there and scroll all the way down to the bottom. At the links at the very bottom, all the way to the right, there will be a link under 'iTunes Store' that says 'Redeem iTunes Giftcards'

I thought So too but then I went to Itunes Library and try and buy a single song from an album for $1.29. Now my Itunes Gift card balance is $ 7.10 as I mentioned earlier. it still did not let me buy and kept trying billing my Visa card.

Open iTunes on your computer. In the iTunes Store log into your iTunes Store account and view your account. Select Edit Payment Information. In the credit card choices I would choose None. That will remove your Mom's CC info. Next under iTunes Gift Cards and Certificates click the little arrow to redeem your Gift Card. Then follow the instrction to redeem your GC.
You can also do this on your iPod, but it is more complicated to describe how to do it and to actually do it. It is easier to do in the iTunes on your computer.
