Use AppStore without credit card

I have the new iPad air and would like to use the App Store without a credit card. There is no option for none under credit card. How do I accomplish this?

Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. Can I buy online using PayPal without credit card?

Hello! So I recently want to buy a few items online but I don't have credit card. I saw that they have PayPal option hence created an account here. Just when I thought everything was falling into its place, PayPal asked for credit card details before purchasing. Really beats the purpose... Does anyone have a solution for this? I thought PayPal is the option if one does not have credit card. Hoping for your quickest reply and thank you so much. Also, I cannot verify my account because I apparently need a credit card to do it. Thanks!

The whole point of paypal is that you fund your paypal payment via a bank account / debit card or credit card and that info is kept confidential and its a lot quicker to pay as you don't have to keep entering card details. How do you expect to pay if you don't link a funding source?? Also a lot of sellers are not registered businesses and so cannot accept credit and debit card payments etc but they can accept paypal payments. That applies to most ebay sellers so without paypal you would not be able to pay safely to them with a card. Paypal also gives you buyer protection you would not have with paying them via bank transfer or cheque if they could not accept a card. As a buyer you only need to link a debit or credit card at the moment and once verified you can then pay anyone that accepts paypal including all ebay sellers. ***************************************** I give up my time to help you so a thank you or kudos would be cool.

You can only create an account for a location where you have a valid Credit Card. If your country isn't listed it means there is no store available, usually due to licensing restrictions.

I have an Apple id which had been registered online but when i tried to use it in iTunes software it goes to review page asking credit card details which I don't have.
I Checked the support page for using iTunes without credit card in that I saw Payment type "none" option selection but the horrible thing is it is unavailable in my iTunes. pls help

Follow the explicit instructions in the article from which the question was posted. An iTunes account cannot be changed from having a credit card as payment method to "None", it must be created without the credit card.

I'm inside the States and using US iTunes store on my iphone 4s (contract free). However I have an account without credit card number. I wonder if I am able to use US iTunes store connected with this account outside the States (say in Russia or Armenia).

3. Tap INSTALL APP
4. Create New Apple ID
5. Confirm Your Country
6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID
12. Wait for verification email
13. When email arrive, verify your account
14. Start downloading your free apps

First, to prevent this from happening again, turn off "In App purchases" in the Restrictions settings on your iPod. You may also want to turn off the ability to install apps, to prevent purchases in case the child gets hold of your iTunes Store account information, and set the password to be required immediately. In practice you cant, as both on iPad/iPhone and on PC you dont have the "Payment type - None" option
Have you manage to bypass this?
Is there a reason why this page is not updated per the actual use?
How would you give your kid an apple ID without a credit card? i dont want him to start wasting all my money :-)
