how can i use bt homehub 2.0 as a phone only as it is stopping my other router working, and other router that i have is alot faster and better but i need a phone and when i plug phone line into phone socket it dosnt work and when it is in broadband socket it cuts out my internet on the other router which i want to have the net NOT the bt hh 2.0 which is slow and only usefull as a phone to me, thanks for your reply, i hope inside the settings is a way to stop it trying to connect to internet and allow other router to do its job while just acting like a phone that i need.

Ok, so I synched my iphone 4 to my computer recently and now when I go to play music on my phone, only the songs I've bought on Itunes play. I put all of my music collection that is in CD form on my computer and it used to play on my phone too, but now it just skips those songs. They still play on my computer though. I've been trying to figure out what the problem is for over three days or so and am about to loose my friggin mind! Can anyone help me?
De-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.

I have a Verizon and At&t Iphone 4 can I use the same Itunes account for both phones?
I have a Verizon Iphone 4 though my job. I also have a At&t Iphone 4 for my personal phone. Can I use the same Itunes account for both phone or will I need a separate account for Verizon Iphone?
I dont live in US, live in Japan.. but I do have 2 iPhones, one 3GS and one 4. I use same iTunes Account on both.
You might have a little "problem" if your payment were by Credit Card, everytime you try to buy something (I mean, try to download something on your iphone, not from your computer) , your going to need to verify your payment... but if u use iTunes Gift Card, you wont have any problem with that

I would like to use two apple id's on my phone. My husband and I like to share our music, (we have always had one apple id).
I recently created a new apple id for myself so we could facetime to eachother AND I am doing preparations for when we get our macbook pro. Which we will also share. I'm assuming we will use our own apple id's for the imessage portion on our upcoming macbook and will have different user accounts.
But can I set certain things on my phone to use different apple id's.Technically, "yes", but you will need to sign in each time you want to use the other one.

If you want to keep your contacts and other data you sync with iCloud separate, you'll have to create separate iCloud accounts, which will require different IDs. If you share the same iCloud account/ID on multiple devices, the synced data will be merged and will appear on all devices syncing with the shared account.
You can still share the same ID for iTunes; it doesn't have to be the same as the one used for iCloud. -

No. Phones sold by GSM carriers can't access CDMA at all and phones sold by CDMA carriers can only access GSM if they are a) unlocked and b) in an area where there is not CDMA.

Is it possible to use Mac's Bluetooth and emulate a phone ?
Does anybody know if it is possible to use the Mac and have the Bluetooth interface emulate a phone? Doesn't matter that much which phone model/type.
Background: I have a Nokia 6021, it has a Bluetooth interface and it pairs properly with the Mac. I can browse the phone and backup all addresses from it. No problem.
Now I have a new car, the Toyota Prius 2006, which has a Bluetooth connecting and functions as a headset for the phone, No problems either.
But then the Prius has it's own dictionary of addresses and phone numbers, which it can use via the fast select function, and you can fill them from the phone. No problem, except for one thing: the Nokia is only able to sent one phone number at the time and to do so the coneection has to be broken, re-established, sent it, broken, re-established, and then one number is done. I did the most urgent ones, but for more then 200 numbers in my phone.... Pwoeiwie....
The problem is that Nokia does one at the time, I checked, no other possibility. A thought came to my mind to connect the Mac, use iSync, etc. But the Prius only accepts a device which identified itself as a phone.
Anyone knows if this can be done, and if yes wants to tell me? Please do so, thanks in advance for heaving read this!

I'm not exactly sure how to interpret your question. Let me try:
1. As a user, you set the car in receive mode. At that point you can sent an address or a bulk of addresses. But the phone only sends one at the time. I checked with Nokia, they confirmed it just cannot do it otherwise.
2. If you ask for the message format or the technical data structure, it works when I sent the address as a "Business Card" from the phone to the car.
3. This is not yet relevant because the car yet refuses to connect because the Mac is not seen as a phone....

my iphone 4 wont connect to my laptop (windows 8) via usb but it will however register that it is there via 'photos' im not using the cable that came with my phone, does that affect the connection?
i just want it to connect to my itunes again!!!

I tried that but on my iphone i can only click on my email and my number is checked but its in grey doesnt allow me click on it and on my Mac, its the opposite, my email is checked but in grey so doesnt allow me to click on it. im realy confused

I have downloaded an app on my phone. My husband tried to download the same app on his phone but he used the same apple id as me and it said the app was already installed on another phone and wont install even using a new apple id on his phone. HOw do we get this app onto his phone?

Using different templates for the desktop and phone versions of the same blog
I have a site which was created in Adobe Muse and is hosted on Business Catalyst.
I have created both a desktop and a phone versions of the site.
I want to know how I can integrate the blogs that I currently have on the desktop site with the phone version that I just did, using different templates for the desktop and phone versions of the same blog. This is in order to ensure that visitors to the blogs on the website are directed to the templates that render correctly for the devices they are using.
My current approach has been to create both a desktop and phone versions of the blogs. The problem with this however, is that the dates are different and the comments are separated between the two blog versions!
I have also tried enabling mobile templates in BC, but still couldn't find a way to specify the mobile versions of the templates for the same blog?
To recap my problem, I basically need a solution where the same blog uses different templates for desktop and mobile (both templates use different navigation headings and menu styles)

Please provide the site url , also try to publish the site as a trial site in Business Catalyst with all layouts which would help to isolate the issue.

I don't like itunes 10 and so I'm using itunes 9. However, now my phone can't connect to itunes because it says it requires itunes 10.5 or later. Is there a workaround for this?

If you don't want to update to the supported software you can't use the device. -
Hi just bought an iphone 4 today tried to activate the phone and it won't let me..I go through language ect and it says activateing iphone may take a few mins then just stops and message on screen says that the sim carrier is not supported and please use the sim which came with the phone(which i am..& have tried another sim and still not working)........It wont let me bypass have tried reseting phone and restarting it nothing helps????
Your iPhone is locked to the original carrier who sold it

I have recently got a new replacement iPhone 4. Since I got this I have found that my data allowance is getting used up during the night while my phone is charging on the bedside table. How an I find out what is causing this and stop it happening? Some nights the usage is 150 meg!
You can not access the backup directly.
Did you restore your replacement from this backup?
If so then you already have everything in the backup on your device.
If not, you can wipe the device and restore from this backup:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings
What is it you are worried about losing that isn't already on your current device?
