Use cases for the SAP HANA Appliance for SAP FI-Accts.Payable

Hello SAP HANA friends:
Are there any compelling use cases for the SAP HANA Appliance for SAP FI-AP Accounts Payable module?
CO-PA and CRM have many immediate use cases, but I'm looking for the use case for Accounts Payable,
either from a cash flow perspective or performance.
Any and all comments are appreciated.

The solution above is not available anymore as the corresponding openSAP course was completed.
Alternatively you could use the "SAP ERP Foundation Extension powered by SAP HANA - Fully Activated Appliance Landscape" that is available as a free trial.

What is the Sucessor for the ASA 5505 Appliance

Hello,
we are looking for a small Firewall Appliance for branch offices which are connected via MPLS and Internet VPNs in the best case.
We need a small low-priced appliance with the specs of a 5505.
Sometimes the appliances are not Rackmounted but placed inside of small offices, so they need to be silent.
We only need basic Firewalling and IPSec VPN capabilities. No Cloud / Application / Fill-In-Buzzword-here Stuff.
An Hardware Updated 5505 would be ideal.
Is there any real sucessor for the 5505? What would you use for this (other vendors may also apply).

Up to now, there is no successor for the 5505. Many people expect that something will come soon, I do that for much over a year now ... ;-)
For your needs, a Cisco 880 could be a good buy. Not as fast as the 5505 but much more features for your VPN-deployment.

i'm not quiet sure atm but should normally work like this:
connect to itunes store -> log out with ur account (upper right corner where ur apple id is displayed) -> sign in with ur wifes apple id -> activate computer (store->activate this computer)

Depends on what you had
If you had iPhoto version 9.5.1 then you can reinstall from the app store under purchases
If you had any version of iPhoto '11 then you can install for free from the App store
If you had any earlier version of iPhoto (iPhoto '09 version 8.x.x) or older then you need to purchase iPhoto '11 version 9.x.x from the app store
If you had iPhoto '08 (version 7.x.x) or older then you also need to download and run the iPhoto library upgraded prior to launching the new iPhoto

You are not addressing Apple here. If you have a problem, describe it and someone might be able to help. Just to be sure, the wi-fi on the phone will go off after the phone goes into sleep mode unless it is actively being used. This is a battery saving measure. If you are actively using the internet, and the phone is still awake, then the wi-fi should remain connected.

Also, If i chose a file that was already in light room to print, even though I have the chosen file up in the developing mode, it will instead print the most recent file that I added to lightroom. If found a way to work around these problems, (check make this the copy in the soft proofing, and copy my settings and delete and reload the old files) but it's a slight hassle and it didn't use to do this. Not sure why it changed. Could I have accidentally changed a setting?

Is it possible to condition a load cell signal with a 1520 SCXI and then use it as the primary analog feedback for a 735X motion control board?

My objective:
I want to measure the force on the load cells with the 1520 SCXI (i.e. excite the load cell then amplify and condition its output) then I want to use this analog (force) signal as the primary feedback for my motion control system (7356 and 7354 motion controller connected to my drives and motors).
The problem:
The motion controller boards (7356 and 7354) can be configured for force feedback control via analog feedback from a load cell. However the boards implicitly expect the load cell signal to be amplified and conditioned with and external signal conditioner rather then using an NI SCXI module. Currently I’m am reading the SCXI signals via the 6259 M seriers DAQ and consequentially have no way to route the signal into the 735X boards for force feedback control. I can use softmotion to control the motors but then I loose the fast PID update rates possible with the 735X boards.
The question:
Is it possible to condition a load cell signal with a 1520 SCXI and then use it as the primary analog feedback for a 735X motion control board?

True a few op-amps could amplify and filter the signal externally but the performance of such an amateur built system will never match the accuracy and functionality of the 1520 SCXI. That’s why we spent the $2500 for the professional version.

As I understand it the UMI is basically a break out connectivity interface for third party drives. After conditioning and amplifying the analog force signal with the SCXI module the analog signal isn’t available to wire into a UMI. To my knowledge the conditioned signal of the SCXI resides only in the PXI backplane (i.e. there is no physical access to the conditioned analog signal). Can you explain how the UMI could be help here.

I now add 2 print screens which show what I get when I try to export a PDF from Adobe Reader and which languages are available.
The same problem does not exist when I use the website.

we are running solution manager 7 EHP1 sps22.
this system has been recently upgraded to this version.
now before running solman_setup i tried to log into the /smd - solution
manager diagnostics i got the following messages -
"Upgrade status for the current version is outdated. Please upgrade now""Maintenance mode is enabled. Some applications will be disabled or might
not work"
i couldn't change the maintenence mode to disabled mode - since there isno agaent administration in the regular path - Diagnostics

as a result i can't goto Diagnostics Setup-----Diagnostics
