Use computer to control digital piano -- Is this possible?

I connect my Macbook and Yamaha Clavinova digital piano via USB Midisport interface. It works properly for midi input, that is to say I can play the digital piano and record the musical notes in Garage Band. But when I press play button in Garage Band, no music coming out from the digital piano. The music only comes out from the Macbook loudspeakers. But when I use "Test Setup" in "Audio Midi Setp", the digital piano works (that means the testing sound comes out from the digital piano, which seems to suggest that the connection is proper. Can any expert here teach me how to play Garage Band music via the digital piano instead of the via the Macbook loundspeakers? Many thanks for your help!!

Numbers of WBS/IO have to be unique through the client (not like cost centres, which could be defined in different CO areas with the same code).

No, but you can authorize her machine to play songs from your account, you'll just import them manually, they won't 'sync'

Using one ipod on 2 computers - is this possible?!

Hi guys I would really appreciate it if somebody could help out with this:
I want to buy my girlfriend an 80gb Ipod Classic for xmas and load it with some music using my existing version of itunes (version 7.3.2.6) and then give it to her so that she can use the ipod with the verison of itunes that it comes with or she downloads. *This music will NOT be music purchased from itunes.*
Is this possible? When her friend connects her new nano to my girlfriends pc and tries to use my girlfriends slightly older version of itunes all of the songs are greyed out and not useable.
I do not want to buy the ipod and load it up only to find she can then not use it with her version of itunes.
If anyone is certain about this i'd be greatly appreciative of an answer.

To change it back to automatically syncing you remove the check mark from "Manually manage songs and videos" and press Apply. If you don't want to use it as file storage device and want it to automatically eject when it is finished updating you also remove the check mark from "enable disk use" (this is checked by default when you set the iPod to update manually. Remember though that if you go back to updating automatically, any songs on the iPod that aren't in iTunes will be removed. Yes. You'll want to copy all the content from the older iPod back to your new iTunes library first. Once you have successfully copied and stored all of this content in your new iTunes library, you can set it up to sync to your new Nano.

Use counter to control digital IO?

I'm new to Labview and using a PCI 6010. I'd like to generate two finite digital pulse trains such that one is in the 'on' position while the other is in the 'off position' and vice versa. The pulse trains will have the same frequency and opposite duty cycles (ie if duty cycle is 0.2 the other is 0.8).
I've gotten a single pulse train using a counter output and the example Dig Pulse Train-Finite vi, but am having trouble getting the second pulse train.
Things I've tried unsuccessfully:
1. Use DAQ Assistant to generate two pulse trains using two counter outputs, while delaying one train so that they're inverted.
2. Use two counter outputs where one displays the inverse of the other
3. Use one counter to generate pulse, invert pulse, and use a digital output to send inverted pulse
4. Simulate square wave, send to one digital output, while sending the inverse square wave to another digital output.
I would assume that some of these methods are simply not possible, but I'm not sure which to pursue further. I would appreciate any advice on the simplest strategy to achieve my desired output. Thanks.

I deleted my Firefox Sync account at one point, but would like to create a new one using the same email address. Is this possible?

I had a Firefox Sync account a while back on an email address and then I deleted it. Now I want to use Firefox Sync again. I had forgotten that I deleted my account, but after trying to send password reset emails to that address and failing to receive them I can only conclude that the email is still on record in Firefox Sync, even if the account has been deleted.
Is it possible for me to set up a new account using this email address? Trying to set it up through Firefox tells me that the email address is in use, when from my point of view it is not.

Multiple accounts using just one library ... is this possible?

Ok so my partner and i have our own seperate accounts on the imac - mainly for chat accounts & browser bookmarks etc; but we only use iphoto (and itunes) on my account. i would like her to be able to access the library on her account BUT with full access. The 'share photos' is not an option as i want her to be able to upload photos, add keywords and edit on her log in and for those changes to be there when i use iphoto on my account. i have tried moving the iphoto library to Macintosh HD, and although my account will happily open it, when i try to on her account it says its read only (even when iphoto was not pen on my log in). I do have an external HDD but this is used for backup and i would rather not have the main library stored on there as not only will it be a bit slow but it would mess with my backup system!
Any ideas, suggestions or solutions?!

You can check/change the permissions on the library folder in the Finder-File>GetInfo window. Set Group and Others to Read&Write.

C5380 - I want to print using ONLY black ink cartridge. Is this possible?

Hi Folks,
I now understand that this model, HP C5380 and I'm guessing many others too, are programed to use an amount of colour ink even when selected to print in Black.
My question is: Can I somehow program the printer to 'only print using the black ink cartridge' and not use the colour cartridges at all?
I have heard that this is possible with some models but need the specifics.
I am even willing to permanently disable the colour function if needed. The replacement ink catridges are so very expensive, if I'm unable to do this then I'll be looking for another printer and it won't be HP. Thi is unfortunate because I think they make a good quality product - however they need to be on notice that their customers 'good will' and return business will not be forthcoming when they (and other compaines) continue to use money making strategies like this.

Using Airport express as wireless reciver is this possible?

Yes, if the wireless network is an Apple one or a WDS capable router that is compatible with Apple's WDS.

Using the remote control.

I noticed that the Apple knowledge based article describing the functions of the remote hasn't been updated to reflect the v 3 Apple tv software. I suspect there are a few users who don't get to use all the features of the Apple tv because they aren't necessarily aware of all the things the remote will do.
In an effort to try to ensure that users get the best out of their Apple TV's I have now produced my own list of functions that are accessible using the remote control. In doing this I realised it involved a little more work than I'd envisaged since the remote performs many functions which can vary depending on which type of content you are using.
I'd be grateful if those of you that are familiar with the Apple tv would take a critical look at what I have done and provide me with feedback on any inaccuracies, omissions or improvements that could be made in relation to the information I have provided.

So im starting an online company, going through 1and1.com (Only one i've really seen) and selling a digital downloadable product. Basically its a packet full of information, examples, that is considered to be highly regarded (Don't really want to give the idea away). I wanted to make a way that people can go to the website...... read a little intro about the product..... then download a ONE TIME COPY of it and save it to ONE computer for a price. Basically I have a lot of information about a specific topic that id like to sell to people but not have them give the information away in paper copy and duplicate it after they buy it from me. No single strategy is completely effective when it comes to managing spam. People who are intent on sending spam are ingenious at coming up with ways around any filtration schemes.
You can add a number of rules in an attempt to resolve the problem but doing so in regards to spam is like a dog chasing his tail.
In case you have unintentionally/unknowingly added to the problem regarding this increase in spam received, check Why was I "spammed" at my .Mac Mail address? which applies to any email account and How HTML Email Messages Relate to Unsolicited Commercial Email ("spam") which applies to any email client such as the Mail.app.

I need to sync bookmarks between Firefox Sync and Seamonkey. Is this possible and if so how to do it??

I use Firefox and Seamonkey, both on the same computer and also on other computers. I would like to use Firefox Sync to sync bookmarks between Firefox and Seamonkey on all my computers, but I don't understand how to do this, since the browsers seem to use their own separate servers.
Is this possible and if so can you tell me how to set it up.

I understand the confusion!
I am not a Mozilla support person, but from my experience, Sync should be called Mozilla Sync, not Firefox or Seamonkey Sync.....
If you create an account in Firefox, that account is accessible to Seamonkey.
As per the Mozilla instructions, in Firefox you open "Options, sync, add device" and in Seamonkey "setup sync, I already have an account". The text here is a bit confusing because it should read "I already have a Mozilla Sync Account", otherwise you tend to think it implies a Seamonkey Sync account...
Then click "connect" and Seamonkey then supplies three fields of characters which you enter in the appropriate fields in the Firefox "add device" dialog.
I think it is confusing that in Firefox the server is called "Firefox Sync Server" and likewise Seamonkey offers a "Seamonkey Sync Server" suggesting they are two completely separate, non-connected entities.
