Use G4 in a network

I'm not sure where to post this. We have early model G4 466 Mhz that has factory CD & Zip drives original HD crashed several years ago and I exchanged it out for either 200 or 250 Gig HD, that shows up in profiler as 114 Gig & I think there is still a slot one more HD (not sure). In a couple of days a new Intel I-mac will arrive from Apple.
How can I move data from G4 to new machine, docs, PDfs, music photos etc. would I Move Photos in I-Photo & music in I-Tunes or would I copy this data over to new I-Mac
I would like to not have to invest in 10.5.xx for this G4.
I would like to put TB Gig HD and have this show up in profiler as TB in G4 and use it to back up New Intel machine and G4 I-Book and keep using Zip on G4 to Back UP the Quicken and put a new Quicken on I-Mac

Apple's solution (presuming you are abandoning your old computer) is to connect the two with a firewire cable and migrate all your old stuff to the new computer. They even provide a tool on the new computer to do that.
If you intend to keep the old computer, you should think about what it would take to get both of them onto the Internet at the same time. This usually involves a Router and possibly another Ethernet cable. This article has some guidance:

Once you have that in place, it is only a small matter of configuring to get them to share. This article is very helpful:

If not running OS 9, just ignore the OS 9 screens and use all Mac OS X screens.
The built-in ATA Bus on your G4 has a limit of 137/128 GB Hard Drive size, unless you invest in a PCI-slot drive card.

When I try to open iTunes a widow appears called Windows Installer. It tells me that the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavalable. 2. Follow the steps under: Step one: Uninstall HP Smart Web Printing software (and then expand the + sign next to the operating system you are using)
You can then install HP Smart Print (which has the same features as Smart Web Printing) if you have a need for this software (following the instructions in this document).

I get the error "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Pick an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'iTunes.msi". This has been going on for a couple of weeks now and I'm very frustrated. From what I can see, I'm not the only one with this problem, but I have yet to see anyone post a solution that works. Microsoft wants to charge me $99 to troubleshoot it for me and Apple will charge $20. I think both are ridiculous as this is obviously not "operator error".

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
