Use iPhone 5s tether to hub

Hiya,
Is it possible to use my iPhone 5s as a source of internet into a hub so I can distribute the connection across a whole house? At the moment we're limited to a very short range on the phone.
If it is, does anyone suggest any model of hub which I should be able to pickup last minute today?

No such hub exists. The iPhone can create a Wi-Fi hotspot but as you've seen it has limited range.
Get an actual Internet connection.

Absolutely you can do this. If you have iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 and your carrier offers a tethering plan, you can certainly use that to give your iPad a wifi hotspot anywhere you have 3G service. AT&T offers tethering. There is additional cost and for anyone who had an ulimited data plan with AT&T, they will have to give up the unlimited option and agree to a capped data plan. Currently, that option costs $45/month and includes (I believe) 4GB of data/month.

I have read that usb hubs usually have only 1 port at a high enough watts = volts x amps iPads need 10watt = 5v x 2 amps so when you use more devices it may share the power so I would buy a usb charger with 2+ amp ports if you want to just charge your devices the computer hub are not designed for that just communication

Use iPhone 3G with MBP?

In the coming months i'll be moving around lots (not hotels) and there will be places with no phone lines or any type of connection at all.
The question - is it possible to use my iPhone 3G with my MBP for internet access as I find the 3G screen a little too small. It would be great if I could to do light usable browsing and other stuff via 3G in citys, towns, villages etc.

This is the error message I receive when I try to add my phone to my Mac for proximity / FaceTime audio calling. This feature worked until I changed my Apple ID. I have updated my Apple ID everywhere I can think of updating it. I've signed out of Apple ID on my Mac, deleted EVERYTHING (calendars, contacts, etc.), signed back in, etc. I've done the same with my phone, and even done a power-down / reboot and nada. I keep getting this message from the Mac.
I can't figure out where else I should look for my old Apple ID to be logged into anything or creating problems. I've gone over my iPhone and Mac and I'm at a loss. As an aside (and yes, wrong forum), have lost the ability to do SMS forwarding since the Mac no longer receives the code from my iPhone to allow this feature to work. This was lost after signing out of the Apple ID on my Mac this afternoon.
Bluetooth is turned on for both devices. Both devices are on the same WiFi network. Both devices otherwise appear to be working correctly with the exception of the problems I'm having with FaceTime and iCloud being signed into the same Apple ID (which they are).

(By the way, I should have pointed out in my earlier posting that I'm running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 on my Mac). I Just installed latest Yosemite update while my iPhone was switched off, and when my Mac restarted, the 'iPhone Cellular Calls' checkbox in the FaceTime preferences was checked and the problem was therefore solved. Switched on my iPhone, still fine. Relief.

Unfortunatly the only way that you can get it off is to get the old user to input the password. You may need to contact that old user and see if he can put the old password in. hope this helps.
