Use laptop as airtunes setup.....sort of?

Hi.
I have mac mini hooked up to home stereo.
In another area of house, I have powerbook hooked up to other speakers.
I'd like to listen to the same iTune/audiobook/CD in multiple rooms as I move from room to room.
Essentially, I want to use the powerbook (and speakers hooked to it) as an airport express "airtunes" set up.
Is there a way to do this?

I am using 5800. I setup a shared connection on my laptop, and then5800 could connect to Internet using the wlan through wirelessconnection.
But I noticed that every time, if I want the connection could becreated, I have disable the firewall on the laptop. Even when usingZone Alarm as the fire wall and add the wireless network into thetrusted zone, the connection could not be established if I do notshutdown the Zone Alarm.
I would like to know if there has way to make the connection established without shutting down the firewall.

I've a 5800 and the same setup as u.. I'm trying to access the internet in my 5800 through the laptop's WLAN and the laptop has ethernet internet(LAN). I have a user-id password set up to connect to the internet from my lap. I'm able to set up the WLAN between the lap and the mobile but not browse it says no gateway reply.. I suspect the problem lies with the ICS (Internet connection sharing) in the laptop. I use Vista in mine. Can u please give me a walkthrough, setting up the lap and the mobile to access internet. ?

Personalizing/setting up a used laptop

I just got a used laptop on ebay and I want to uninstall the OSX on it with my licensed OSX. I also want to reset the user name and password to my own. Will I need the original password from the seller in order to do this, or is there another way to set up my OSX and use Migration Assistant?

Make certain the PB can boot from your OSX Disc before erasing anything, many versions like Gray Install Discs are Machine & Architecture specific.

You would need it if it was set to use firmware password protection in Mac OS X ...

Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... though I was just thinking, this new User probably shouldn't be the same name as an existing one.

Shut down the notebook. Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to enter the Start-up Menu. Select the Bios option ( usually f10 ) and under the Advanced or Diagnostic tab you should find the facility to run tests on both the Hard Drive and Memory. Post back with the details of any error messages.
Note: If the option to run these tests is not available in the Bios Menu, use the f2 diagnostic menu instead.
Can you also post back with the following details.
1. The full Model No. and Product No. of your notebook - see Here for a guide on locating this information.
2. The full version of the operating system you are using ( ie Windows 7 64bit ).

I Sugges you to log into your hotmail acc and go to security and password change bit, then you will see two-step verification.. turn that off and you will be able to set it up on your iPhone/iPad or even Mac.

Using Laptop as Hotspot

I have a laptop and a notebook and only the laptop will connect to the wireless connection. I had the same problem with my work lapttop and it was solved by setting up my personal laptop as a Wifi Hotspot.
Now I'd like to connect my notebook via the laptop as a hotspot but I can't remember how. The notebook shows it's connected to my wireless but I still can't get on the internet.
If I connect my notebook to my neighbor's wireless it works and I am able to access the web. Any suggestions?

You can use vb coding in BEx Analyser to calculate your unit price. For this you have to first display the attributes of your object "XYZ". Then you can use VB cosing to calculate the value for the unit price field.
One more thing cna you clarify whether is it display attribute or variable ?

NO - I dont have any hotmail/gmail account setup on my phone. Its a new work phone and I only have work email account setup on the phone. I was just trying to send a test email to my hotmail and gmail account but failed to receive those using my work email account on iphone 5.
I have tried receiving email on my work account on iphone, sent from my hotmail account (using web) and received it.
Incoming is all fine and I am able to receive emails from all sources but outgoing is only sucessful if I send it to anyone using my company's email account.

Do I now have to sort massive tables by each column one at a time now? Also there used to be an easier way to merge/unmerge cells without me having to go to the table menu each time. Am I missing something?

Multiple column sort is a missing feature in the new version. Hopefully soon to return. You can do a multicolumn sort by sorting one at a time in reverse order of importance.
For merging and unmerging cells, I select the cells and right click to bring up the contextual menu. Merge and unmerge are on the menu. You could also create keyboard shortcuts for Merge Cells and Unmerge Cells in the Table menu.

Are you saying that vs2005 is installed on your new T500? Are you sure it's vs2005 and not the 2005 redistributable?
The T500 comes with several thing pre-installed and some software require the vc2005 redistributable just like some software require .Net framework. For some software where required .Net or the vc2005 redistributable might be included and will be installed automatically when the program is installed.
I find it hard to belive you got a used computer and find it hard to believe that the full vs2005 is pre-installed.
