Data Sheet: Data sheets are structured documents made up of specifications that contain classes and characteristics for any product or collaboration.
Class: A class is a group of similar objects that have common characteristics. Classes allow you to group objects together according to criteria that you define.
Characteristics: Characteristics describe the properties of objects. These characteristics are specified in specifications using characteristic values.
The characteristic unit and characteristic type are specified as additional information for the characteristics. Furthermore, an indicator displays whether the characteristic is required or not.
Specification: A specification describes a product that uses classes.
Within specifications, you incorporate classes, to which characteristics are assigned. The characteristics then have values.
Using data sheets ensures that all bids submitted by bidders are clearly structured and easy to compare.

CFolder - Data Sheet Comparison

Dear all,
I have to use the data sheet comparison feature of cFolders in a competitive scenario.
There are two cases.
Case 1:
I create a data sheet in the public area of a competitve collaboration.
Then I create private work areas for my suppliers.
Data sheet from public area automatically gets copied in each of the private areas.
Suplliers fill in their values in the data sheets in their respective areas.
When I log in as the manager (buyer) and compare the data sheet in the public area, I get a perfet excel comparison between what was specfied by me and what is entered by the suppliers.
Case 2:
I create private work areas from my suppliers. Then I create the data sheet in the
public area. This data sheet doesnt get copied in the private areas. So, I manualyy copy and paste the data sheet from the public area into each of the private area.
Each supplier fills in their specifications in the data sheet in their respective private area.
Now when I log in as the manager, and click on Compare data sheets in Excel link, I can see only the specifications provided by me and not the values input by the suppliers.
The scenario at my client side falls under case 2. That is they keep on creating data sheets throughout the collaboration and wish to compare these.
Kindly advise solution.

Did this issue only happen to one particular list? Or one type list(e.g. document library)?
Have you tried to use PowerShell to enable the datasheet view for this list?

Unable to export data from Web Access Data Sheet in Sharepoint to local excel or access file

Greetings and good morning.
I'm going to start off in broad terms with this question because I'm not 100 percent sure what information to provide.
Long story short, we've got a Web Access Data Sheet list hosted in a Sharepoint 2010 environment. It is accessed and used by multiple people throughout the day. It contains several thousand line item entries. I'd call it a large data sheet.
I think the size of the data sheet is casuign some instability in the list. I'd like to be able to export a defined range of data from the list into a local excel or access file. After that, I'd delete the stuff on the Access list to improve performance.
But...when I attempt to use the Sharepoint Action bar to export - Excel locks up/crashes. If I try to export to Access, I get a similar issue.
Any ideas? Could anyone begin by telling me what other information is required?

If you would like to export data from Access Web Database in SharePoint 2010, you could go to Design With Access page in Settings. The url in my environment is http://sp/tt/_layouts/accsrv/ModifyApplication.aspx . Then choose the Table and export it to Excel
or Modify it in Access.

That option is not available in FTP mode..
This option is applicable only for the File adapter. If you enter a value in this field when configuring the sender FTP adapter, it will have no effect.

Are you sure that the message is not getting picked in half-way
Now, at this time, I can't see the XML data in the CC monitoring because the tool shows only the recent polling execute in the last 10 minutes. If the error recurs, I will check the payload of CC.
How can I solve the problem with reading incomplete file (FTP mode)?
...Meanwhile I will try with Full cache refresh.

Use of PI sheet

Dear Gurus
Can u explain what is the use of PI sheet?, where we want to maintain in configuration for that?, How we can view PI sheet?
(I created a process order and manully done the control recipe, now status is CRCR & how can i view that control recipie?)
Note:1)Through O10C Transaction i found that
Insstruction Category defined as AACT_1 Activity for phase (PCS example)
2)While iam creating Master recipe in operation 0020 i mentioned destination as 01 PI sheet for group 1

For customisation few codes are following.
These are copying std setting from client 000
1: SCC4
2: O23C - >back
3:O23C_VHUMI
4: O22C
5: O22C_VHUMI
6: O20C
7: O10C
Then make all settings as per process indusrty i.e. considering PI01etc.
To create resorce (work center)- CRC1
Recipe - ( BOM & routing ) - C201
Other process is same as PP
Here it is called process order can be created by - COR1
Confirmation by CORK
Order report - COOISPI
For creation PI sheet check the earlier threads.
This will help you, & can start with.
In control recipe destination the destination type must be browser based.Another is Abap based generally it is using.
So select that recipe destination, select phase & go in deatil u will find INSTR.READ1, READ2,SIGN which can used as a instruction.
There are two types 1:process sheet 2: remote fuction call (RFC)
Process sheet is used for giving instructions to line operator & also entering data during reaction etc per period.
For INSTR- select it give instruction for that particular phase.
READ1 - In which we are one column is available where we can enter 1 value by line opearator
READ2- Here 4 columns are available u can use it as date,time,temp,total etc. as per your requirement.
SIGN- Here u can use it as a to identify who entered the value.Systen will ask for pass word after entering ID
After creation & releasing process order create contriol recipe.
Thern go for T code- CO 53 - send control recipe(control recipe monitor)

Using JSP i have to use a Excel sheet as a database.ie, i have to store and fetch data into or from a Excel Sheet and execute SQL Queries. Is it possible?
If possible please give a sample code for that if anybody have the sample code.

Below are the steps:
1. Go to Tools -> service component wizard
2. The popup opens : Step1 : Enter the name of your service component
3. Go to Excel spreadsheet Copy the data for which the service needs to be created.
4. Step 2 : Paste the copied Excel data in the popup
5. Step 3 : Define Input -> just click next
6. Step 4: Define Conditions -> just click finish.

IWork Numbers program. I am trying to create a 'Master Table'. The table will be used on numerous sheets, when cells altered on the 'Master' it will show on all sheets using the Master table. Is this a possibility??

The formula in the Index column of the Main table is:
E2: =IF(A,MAX($E$1:E1)+1,"")
Fill down to the end of column E.
The Breakout table contains a single formula:
A2: =IF((ROW()-1)>MAX(Main :: $E),"",OFFSET(Main :: $A$1,MATCH(ROW()-1,Main :: $E,0)-1,COLUMN()))
Fill down and right to fill the table.
For multiple rooms (with different data transfered to each) you'll need a column of checkboxes and a corresponding index column for each room.
The index columns can be hidden.
Contents in individual cells in the breakout tabel(s) can be entered directly, replacing the formula. To retun to the calculated result, select a cell adjacent to the one where text was entered, and drag the Fill control handle (small circle, bottom right of the selection rectangle) to fill the formula back into that cell.

And also the sheets are automated, they get store in the FTP on a cyclic job.
So Have to Do it on PAckage level

You cannot hit a moving target, your data quality is at risk, too. Even if a package succeeded there is still a degree of suspect whether the data ended in the right place.
You can create a helper program that checks for data integrity, e.g. a series of SQL queries can be executed against the source to pinpoint what metadata shape the Excel arrived in. Then branch the package flow based on one or the other variant (there will
be only a handful). The branching can be done by using Precedence Constraints. Hey, but see what I say about above.

I am not much aware of the SAS datasets, but i can definitely provide some pointers on what data Xcelsius could consume.
Assuming you use Xcelsius 2008 - you can have static data within the embedded excel sheet..
You can recieve dynamic data using
1. QAAWS
2. Web Services
3. XML data
4.Live Office
and more....I am sure some of the Gurus could provide better pointers.

I want to use the spread sheet for Inserting rows and deleting rows from Java application. Can I use it from Java.sql package and use the factory methods as DriverManager and get the connetion Interface.

I would say that white papers describe features/products and how to use them for different scenarios while data sheets are used to see what kind of performance and features are supported by the platform.

PCI 6025E Product data Sheet has an error

I was trying to trouble shoot a harware problem on a previously working system using a PCI 6025E. I needed the output connections for the digital I/O I am looking at the on-line product data sheet for the PCI 6025E page 12 figure 6 "I/O for the NI 6025E Device". I see that pins 25 through 32 are labeled P1.0 - P1.7 the only problem is that so are pins 97-83. I am guessing that pins 25-32 are really port 0 but can you confirm?

Thank you for pointing that out. We will work to correct that error. For future reference, the pinouts in the E Series Help are correct. If you open the .chm file, click on the "index" tab, and type in the key word "pinout." You will see the pinouts for the different E Series boards. I hope this helps.

We definitely want to make sure that your data usage reporting is clear so you can monitor everything clearly! The timestamps that appear when viewing your data usage details on My Verizon may not be the exact time that data was completely used. The corresponding usage and time reflect usage from between the last report and the one you're reviewing.
For example, say there was a report for 312MB at 2AM and the report right before that was for 100MB at 6PM. The 312MB were used between the 6PM report and the 2AM of it's own time stamp.

In my MB's data sheet I read that the Ram can be setting in optimal mode with voltage and timings....but I don't know where is it excatly...

AVL is the Approved Vendor List for memory and it is available as a link on the page you just quoted, but since you don't mention any problems your ram must be working. Any timing and voltage adjustment can be done in bios. I suggest you read around in this forum before attempting any adjustment. Please also post your specifications in a signature like mine if you need further assistance.
