Use of hp Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-In-One C410 Series Printer On Second Computer

I have recently purchased new hp Pavilion dv5 laptop and photosmart C410 printer. Have loaded printer software onto computer and it works fine. Both of these are running in a wireless network. I would like to hook a second laptop that is running Vista to the new printer on a wireless basis also. The second laptop needs to print only, don't have to print photos, scan or copy.
Do I need to buy or download software to do this?

Hello,
Just make sure the new compuuter is in the same network as your printer and install the Vista software either from the cd (if it says Vista on the disk) or download it HERE. And normally it should work fine.

The HP Deskjet 3050A All-In-One J611 series printer I just bought is not compatible with my Mac Book Pro. What do I need to do?

I recently purchased an HP Deskjet 3050A All-In-One J611 series printer and it is not compatible with the version of the operating system on my mac book pro. I am currently running on OS X 10.4.11 and the printer is compatible with v10.5 or higher. What can I do to update the operating system on my Mac Book Pro?

10.5 will be harder to find & more expensive, I think I'd go for 10.6
Leopard requirements/10.5.x...
    * Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
minimum system requirements
    * 512MB of memory (I say 1.5GB for PPC at least, 2-3GB minimum for IntelMacs)

HP DeskJet 1050 ALL-IN-ONE J410 series Printer Scanner stopped working suddenly

About a month back Scanner in my printer-scanner (DeskJet 1050 All-In-One J410 series) stopped working with a message on screen " HP Deskjet 1050 J410 series was not found". But the Printer was working fine. I have so far taken following steps with results against each -
a) HP Print & Scan doctor (HPPSdr.exe) showed HP Twain Scan faulty.
b) On advice from HP helpline, tried HP Deskjet Full Feature Software & Drivers (DJ1050_J410_1313.exe). It required uninstalling before installing. But uninstalling failed to happen.
c) Finally, with HP Printer Install Wizard (hppiw.exe) help it showed that Full Feature HP Software & Drivers is now installed. For its functionality, it called for its testing on 'print test page' and 'test scan'. After this, printer shows printing jobs in queue but will not print. At present it is limited to photocopying only without printing & scanning.
d) I am caught in a loop, because at the end of hppiw.exe message is '...if tests are not successful, HP recommends using HPPSdr.exe to diagnose and fix any problem' i.e. back to point (a) above.
Any solution to the above problem?

How can I install my printer HP Photosmart Premium C310 e-All-in-One printer without CD?

I got it 2 weeks ago, but my laptop don't have CD-drive. When I go to Software & Driver downloads and write my type C310b it always open me for type C310a with note:If your operating system is not listed, HP does not have software or driver downloads available for this product in that operating system.
can someone help please? HP have very bad support.

I can't get anything to print. I removed the color cartridge and failed to replace it for several days. The printer was not used during this time. After replacing the cartridge, I tried to print a document and got a message stating no printer was installed. I finally uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it. It shows to be properly installed. I am still unable to print. What do I need to do now?

I understand you are not able to print and on the computer and you had a message stating that the printer wasn't installed but you installed the printer software and still can't print.
Try and print a hardware self test from the printer.
Go to setup, printer report.
I would download and run the Print and Scan Doctor to fix common printing and scanning
problems.
If you require further assistance please provide the following so I can assist you better.
Did the self test print?
What were the results of the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)

HP Photosmart Premium All in One C410 series - alignment issue

Printer is disaligned, cannot realign, tried default, tried aligning a few times, same result - get the following message: Paper mismatch (using the same paper as before)and within a few seconds requesting to CANCEL, this stops the process ???

Sorry that you are having a problem with the "alignment". Sometimes this occurs when you have bad cartridges, or the print head needs cleaning.

I have an HP Photosmart Premium 309g-m all in one that is not printing.

I turned it off and on but the trouble shooter is saying it is turned off. The wireles connection light is lit so I am at a loss as to what to try next.

From the front of the printer: Setup > Network < Wireless Network Test Report. What does it say about its wireless radio?

How long do I have to wait for the printer to find the IP address? If I want to do it manually what are the 3 IP addresses?

I would manually clean the contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer. That process is outlined for your model of printer in step three of this document here. The rest of the document does not apply to your issue, but it does a great job on giving step by step instructions on the manual cleaning process and lists the materials that one needs to use. The manual cleaning will help insure that build up on the contacts is not the cause of the print quality issue that you are having. I hope that this helps.

Well what exactly changed? New equipment? New router? New Gateway? New modem? Wired or wireless connection? OS of computer? Reinstalled the software? Reinstalled the drivers? Detail everything in order on what you are trying to do and where in the manual what steps you are following.
